< Psalms 11 >

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. In the Lord I have put my trust: how will you say to my soul, Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?
Nkunga Davidi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi. Kuidi Yave ndintombilanga suamunu. Buevi lulenda ku khambila: “Tinina ku miongo miaku banga bu ntininanga nuni.”
2 For behold the sinners have bent their [bow], they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot For privily at the upright in heart.
Bila tala, batu bambimbi balembo leki mimbasa; ayi balembo ludika zitsoto va nsinga mi mimbasa muingi babasula, bu badi mu tombi, batu bobo badi mintima mi lulama.
3 For they have pulled down what you did frame, but what has the righteous done?
Enati zifundasio zitiolumunu, buna mutu wusonga, mbi kalenda vanga e?
4 The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men.
Yave widi mu nzoꞌandi yinlongo! Yave, kundu kiandi ki luyalu kidi ku diyilu, meso mandi malembo tadi ayi zindabu ziandi zimfionguninanga bana ba batu.
5 The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.
Yave wumfionguninanga mutu wusonga vayi muelꞌandi weti lenda mutu wumbimbi ayi mutu wowo wunzolanga matsita.
6 He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.
Wunokisanga makala ayi sofolo yi mbazu. Kuidi batu bambimbi, Phemo yi mbazu yawu kopo yi ziphasi bela kabana.
7 For the Lord [is] righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.
Bila Yave widi wusonga, wunzolanga masonga. Batu badi mintima mi lulama bela talanga zizi kiandi.
