< Psalms 105 >

1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, and call upon his name; declare his works among the heathen.
Da Awurade ase na da ne kɛseyɛ adi. Ma wiase nyinaa nhu nea wayɛ.
2 Sing to him, yes, sing praises to him: tell forth all his wonderful works.
Monto dwom mma no, monto ayeyi dwom mma no; monka nʼanwonwade no nyinaa.
3 Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them that seek the Lord rejoice.
Monhoahoa mo ho wɔ ne din kronkron mu; momma wɔn a wɔhwehwɛ Awurade no nnya koma mu anigye.
4 Seek you the Lord, and be strengthened; seek his face continually.
Momma mo ani nna Awurade ne nʼahoɔden no so; na monhwehwɛ nʼanim bere biara.
5 Remember his wonderful works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Monkae anwonwade a wayɛ ne nsɛnkyerɛnne, ne atɛn a obui,
6 [you] seed of Abraam, his servants, [you] children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
Abraham mma, Onyankopɔn asomfo, Yakob mma a wapaw wɔn.
7 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
Ɔyɛ Awurade, yɛn Nyankopɔn. Nʼahenni da adi wɔ asase so nyinaa.
8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generation:
Ɔkae nʼapam daa nyinaa, asɛm a ɔhyɛ maa awo ntoantoaso apem no,
9 which he established as a covenant to Abraam, and [he remembered] his oath to Isaac.
apam a ɔne Abraham yɛe no, ntam a ɔka kyerɛɛ Isak no.
10 And he established it to Jacob for an ordinance, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
Ɔhyɛɛ mu den maa Yakob sɛ mmara, de maa Israel sɛ apam a ɛbɛtena hɔ afebɔɔ.
11 saying To you will I give the land of Chanaan, the line of your inheritance:
Ɔkae se, “Mede Kanaan asase no bɛma wo sɛ kyɛfa a ɛbɛyɛ wʼagyapade.”
12 when they were few in number, very few, and sojourners in it.
Ɔkaa eyi bere a na wɔnnɔɔso, ahɔhokuw ketewa bi a wɔwɔ Kanaan.
13 And they went from nation to nation, and from [one] kingdom to another people.
Wofii aman so kɔɔ aman so; fii ahemman mu kɔɔ ahemman mu.
14 He suffered no man to wrong them; and he rebuked kings for their sakes:
Wamma obi anhyɛ wɔn so; wɔn nti, ɔkaa ahene anim se:
15 [saying], Touch not my anointed ones; and do my prophets no harm.
“Mommfa mo nsa nka wɔn a masra wɔn ngo; na monnyɛ mʼadiyifo bɔne bi.”
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole support of bread.
Ɔmaa ɔkɔm baa asase no so na ɔsɛee akwan a wɔfa so nya wɔn aduan nyinaa;
17 He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a slave.
na ɔsomaa ɔbarima bi dii wɔn anim, Yosef a wɔtɔn no sɛ akoa no.
18 They hurt his feet with fetters; his soul passed into iron,
Wɔde mpokyerɛ guu ne nʼanan, na wɔde dade nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn hyɛɛ ne kɔn,
19 until the time that his cause came on; the word of the Lord tried him as fire.
kosii sɛ nea ɔhyɛɛ ho nkɔm no baa mu, kosii sɛ Awurade asɛm no daa no adi sɛ ɔyɛ ɔnokwafo.
20 The king sent and loosed him; [even] the prince of the people, and let him go free.
Ɔhene no soma ma wokoyii no; aman no sodifo gyaa no.
21 He made him Lord over his house, and ruler of all his substance;
Ɔyɛɛ no ne fi so wura nea ɔwɔ nyinaa sodifo,
22 to chastise his rulers at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
sɛ ɔnkyerɛ ne mmapɔmma nea ɔpɛ na ɔnkyerɛ ne mpanyimfo nyansa.
23 Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Cham.
Na Israel kɔɔ Misraim; Yakob kɔtenaa Ham asase so sɛ ɔnanani.
24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.
Awurade maa ne nkurɔfo ase dɔe; ɔyɛɛ wɔn bebree dodo maa wɔn atamfo,
25 And he turned their heart to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.
wɔn a ɔdan wɔn koma sɛ wɔntan ne nkurɔfo na wɔmpam nʼasomfo ti so.
26 He sent fort Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
Ɔsomaa ne somfo Mose, ne Aaron a na wayi no no.
27 He established among them his signs, and [his] wonders in the land of Cham.
Wɔyɛɛ ne nsɛnkyerɛnne nwonwaso wɔ wɔn mu, nʼanwonwade wɔ Ham asase so.
28 He sent forth darkness, and made it dark; yet they rebelled against his words.
Ɔsomaa sum, na ɔmaa asase duruu sum, efisɛ na wɔatew nʼasɛm no so atua.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
Ɔmaa wɔn nsu nyinaa dan mogya, nam so kum mu mpataa.
30 Their land produced frogs abundantly, in the chambers of their kings.
Mpɔtorɔ bɛhyɛɛ asase no so ma, na wɔhyɛn ɔman no sodifo mpia mu.
31 He spoke, and the dog-fly came, and lice in all their coasts.
Ɔkasae, na nwansena bebree ne ntontom baa ɔman no mu baabiara.
32 He turned their rain into hail, [and sent] flaming fire in their land.
Ɔmaa wɔn osu dan mparuwbo a anyinam nenam mu wɔ ɔman no nyinaa mu;
33 And he struck their vines and their fig trees; and broke every tree of their coast.
Ɔsɛee wɔn bobe ne borɔdɔma nnua na obubuu ɔman no so nnua pasaa.
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and caterpillars innumerable,
Ɔkasae, na mmoadabi bae, tɛwtɛw a wontumi nkan wɔn;
35 and devoured all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruit of the ground.
wɔwee ahabammono biara a ɛwɔ wɔn asase no so, na wodii wɔn mfuw so nnuan.
36 He struck also every firstborn of their land, the first fruits of all their labor.
Afei okunkum wɔn asase so mmakan nyinaa, wɔn mmarimayɛ mu aba a edi kan nyinaa.
37 And he brought them out with silver and gold; and there was not a feeble one among their tribes.
Oyii Israel a ɔso dwetɛ ne sikakɔkɔɔ fii wɔn mmusuakuw mu a obiara ho antɔ kyima.
38 Egypt rejoiced at their departing; for the fear of them fell upon them.
Misraim ani gyei, bere a wɔkɔe, efisɛ na Israelfo ho hu atɔ wɔn so.
39 He spread out a cloud for a covering to them, and fire to give them light by night.
Ɔtrɛw omununkum mu kataa wɔn so, na ogya maa wɔn hann anadwo.
40 They asked, and the quail came, and he satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Wobisae, na ɔbrɛɛ wɔn mparuwbo ɔmaa ɔsoro aduan mee wɔn.
41 He clave the rock, and the waters flowed, rivers ran in dry places.
Obuee ɔbotan mu maa nsu fii mu bae; na ɛsen faa sare no so sɛ asubɔnten.
42 For he remembered his holy word, which [he promised] to Abraam his servant.
Ɔkaee ne bɔ kronkron bi a ɔhyɛɛ ne somfo Abraham no.
43 And he brought out his people with exultation, and his chosen with joy;
Oyii ne nkurɔfo maa wɔn ani gyei; wɔn a wapaw wɔn no dii ahurusi;
44 and gave them the lands of the heathen; and they inherited the labors of the people;
ɔde amanaman no nsase maa wɔn, na nea ebinom abrɛ anya no bɛyɛɛ wɔn agyapade
45 that they might keep his ordinances, and diligently seek his law.
na wɔahwɛ nʼahyɛde adi ne mmara so. Munyi Awurade ayɛ.
