Psalms 104
1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are very great; you have clothed yourself with praise and honor:
१हे मेरे मन, तू यहोवा को धन्य कह! हे मेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा, तू अत्यन्त महान है! तू वैभव और ऐश्वर्य का वस्त्र पहने हुए है,
2 who do robe yourself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain.
२तू उजियाले को चादर के समान ओढ़े रहता है, और आकाश को तम्बू के समान ताने रहता है,
3 Who covers his chambers with waters; who makes the clouds his chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.
३तू अपनी अटारियों की कड़ियाँ जल में धरता है, और मेघों को अपना रथ बनाता है, और पवन के पंखों पर चलता है,
4 Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flaming fire.
४तू पवनों को अपने दूत, और धधकती आग को अपने सेवक बनाता है।
5 Who establishes the earth on her sure foundation: it shall not be moved for ever.
५तूने पृथ्वी को उसकी नींव पर स्थिर किया है, ताकि वह कभी न डगमगाए।
6 The deep, as it were a garment, is his covering: the waters shall stand on the hills.
६तूने उसको गहरे सागर से ढाँप दिया है जैसे वस्त्र से; जल पहाड़ों के ऊपर ठहर गया।
7 At your rebuke they shall flee; at the voice of your thunder they shall be alarmed.
७तेरी घुड़की से वह भाग गया; तेरे गरजने का शब्द सुनते ही, वह उतावली करके बह गया।
8 They go up to the mountains, and down to the plains, to the place which you have founded for them.
८वह पहाड़ों पर चढ़ गया, और तराइयों के मार्ग से उस स्थान में उतर गया जिसे तूने उसके लिये तैयार किया था।
9 You have set a bound which they shall not pass, neither shall they turn again to cover the earth.
९तूने एक सीमा ठहराई जिसको वह नहीं लाँघ सकता है, और न लौटकर स्थल को ढाँप सकता है।
10 He sends forth his fountains among the valleys: the waters shall run between the mountains.
१०तू तराइयों में सोतों को बहाता है; वे पहाड़ों के बीच से बहते हैं,
11 They shall give drink to all the wild beasts of the field: the wild asses shall take [of them] to [quench] their thirst.
११उनसे मैदान के सब जीव-जन्तु जल पीते हैं; जंगली गदहे भी अपनी प्यास बुझा लेते हैं।
12 By them shall the birds of the sky lodge: they shall utter a voice out of the midst of the rocks.
१२उनके पास आकाश के पक्षी बसेरा करते, और डालियों के बीच में से बोलते हैं।
13 He waters the mountains from his chambers: the earth shall be satisfied with the fruit of your works.
१३तू अपनी अटारियों में से पहाड़ों को सींचता है, तेरे कामों के फल से पृथ्वी तृप्त रहती है।
14 He makes grass to grow for the cattle, and green herb for the service of men, to bring bread out of the earth;
१४तू पशुओं के लिये घास, और मनुष्यों के काम के लिये अन्न आदि उपजाता है, और इस रीति भूमि से वह भोजन-वस्तुएँ उत्पन्न करता है
15 and wine makes glad the heart of man, to make his face cheerful with oil: and bread strengthens man's heart.
१५और दाखमधु जिससे मनुष्य का मन आनन्दित होता है, और तेल जिससे उसका मुख चमकता है, और अन्न जिससे वह सम्भल जाता है।
16 The trees of the plain shall be full [of sap]; [even] the cedars of Libanus which he has planted.
१६यहोवा के वृक्ष तृप्त रहते हैं, अर्थात् लबानोन के देवदार जो उसी के लगाए हुए हैं।
17 There the sparrows will build their nests; and the house of the heron takes the lead among them.
१७उनमें चिड़ियाँ अपने घोंसले बनाती हैं; सारस का बसेरा सनोवर के वृक्षों में होता है।
18 The high mountains are a refuge for the stags, [and] the rock for the rabbits.
१८ऊँचे पहाड़ जंगली बकरों के लिये हैं; और चट्टानें शापानों के शरणस्थान हैं।
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
१९उसने नियत समयों के लिये चन्द्रमा को बनाया है; सूर्य अपने अस्त होने का समय जानता है।
20 You did make darkness, and it was night; in it all the wild beasts of the forest will be abroad:
२०तू अंधकार करता है, तब रात हो जाती है; जिसमें वन के सब जीव-जन्तु घूमते-फिरते हैं।
21 [even] young lions roaring for prey, and to seek meat for themselves from God.
२१जवान सिंह अहेर के लिये गर्जते हैं, और परमेश्वर से अपना आहार माँगते हैं।
22 The sun arises, and they shall be gathered together, and shall lie down in their dens.
२२सूर्य उदय होते ही वे चले जाते हैं और अपनी माँदों में विश्राम करते हैं।
23 Man shall go forth to his work, and to his labor till evening.
२३तब मनुष्य अपने काम के लिये और संध्या तक परिश्रम करने के लिये निकलता है।
24 How great are your works, O Lord! in wisdom have you wrought them all: the earth is filled with your creation.
२४हे यहोवा, तेरे काम अनगिनत हैं! इन सब वस्तुओं को तूने बुद्धि से बनाया है; पृथ्वी तेरी सम्पत्ति से परिपूर्ण है।
25 [So is] this great and wide sea: there are things creeping innumerable, small animals and great.
२५इसी प्रकार समुद्र बड़ा और बहुत ही चौड़ा है, और उसमें अनगिनत जलचर जीव-जन्तु, क्या छोटे, क्या बड़े भरे पड़े हैं।
26 There go the ships; [and] this dragon whom you have made to play in it.
२६उसमें जहाज भी आते-जाते हैं, और लिव्यातान भी जिसे तूने वहाँ खेलने के लिये बनाया है।
27 All wait upon you, to give them [their] food in due season.
२७इन सब को तेरा ही आसरा है, कि तू उनका आहार समय पर दिया करे।
28 When you have given [it] them, they will gather [it]; and when you have opened your hand, they shall all be filled with good.
२८तू उन्हें देता है, वे चुन लेते हैं; तू अपनी मुट्ठी खोलता है और वे उत्तम पदार्थों से तृप्त होते हैं।
29 But when you have turned away your face, they shall be troubled: you will take away their breath, and they shall fail, and return to their dust.
२९तू मुख फेर लेता है, और वे घबरा जाते हैं; तू उनकी साँस ले लेता है, और उनके प्राण छूट जाते हैं और मिट्टी में फिर मिल जाते हैं।
30 You shall send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth.
३०फिर तू अपनी ओर से साँस भेजता है, और वे सिरजे जाते हैं; और तू धरती को नया कर देता है।
31 Let the glory of the Lord be for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works;
३१यहोवा की महिमा सदाकाल बनी रहे, यहोवा अपने कामों से आनन्दित होवे!
32 who looks upon the earth, and makes it tremble; who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
३२उसकी दृष्टि ही से पृथ्वी काँप उठती है, और उसके छूते ही पहाड़ों से धुआँ निकलता है।
33 I will sing to the Lord while I live; I will sing praise to my God while I exist.
३३मैं जीवन भर यहोवा का गीत गाता रहूँगा; जब तक मैं बना रहूँगा तब तक अपने परमेश्वर का भजन गाता रहूँगा।
34 Let my meditation be sweet to him: and I will rejoice in the Lord.
३४मेरे सोच-विचार उसको प्रिय लगे, क्योंकि मैं तो यहोवा के कारण आनन्दित रहूँगा।
35 Let the sinners fail from off the earth, and transgressors, so that they shall be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul.
३५पापी लोग पृथ्वी पर से मिट जाएँ, और दुष्ट लोग आगे को न रहें! हे मेरे मन यहोवा को धन्य कह! यहोवा की स्तुति करो!
