Numbers 34
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
2 Charge the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, You are entering into the land of Chanaan: it shall be to you for an inheritance, the land of Chanaan with its boundaries.
"Perintahkanlah kepada orang Israel dan katakanlah kepada mereka: Apabila kamu masuk ke negeri Kanaan, maka inilah negeri yang akan jatuh kepadamu sebagai milik pusaka, yakni tanah Kanaan menurut batas-batasnya.
3 And your southern side shall be from the wilderness of Sin to the border of Edom, and your border southward shall extend on the side of the salt sea eastward.
Adapun sisi selatanmu ialah dari padang gurun Zin menyusur Edom, maka batas selatanmu mulai dari ujung Laut Asin di sebelah timur.
4 And your border shall go round you from the south to the ascent of Acrabin, and shall proceed by Ennac, and the going forth of it shall be southward to Cades Barne, and it shall go forth to the village of Arad, and shall proceed by Asemona.
Lalu batasmu membelok di selatan pendakian Akrabim, terus ke Zin dan berakhir di sebelah selatan Kadesh-Barnea. Sesudah itu ia mencapai Hazar-Adar, dan terus ke Azmon.
5 And the border shall compass from Asemona to the river of Egypt, and the sea shall be the termination.
Kemudian batas itu membelok dari Azmon ke sungai Mesir dan berakhir ke laut.
6 And you shall have your border on the west, the great sea shall be the boundary: this shall be to you the border on the west.
Batas baratmu ialah laut besar dan pantainya; itulah batas baratmu.
7 And this shall be your northern border; from the great sea you shall measure to yourselves, by the side of the mountain.
Inilah batas utaramu: mulai dari laut besar haruslah kamu buat tanda batas ke gunung Hor,
8 And you shall measure to yourselves the mountain from mount [Hor] at the entering in to Emath, and the termination of it shall be the coasts of Saradac.
dari gunung Hor harus kamu buat tanda batas ke jalan yang menuju ke Hamat, lalu batas itu mencapai Zedad.
9 And the border shall go out to Dephrona, and its termination shall be at Arsenain; this shall be your border from the north.
Kemudian batas itu mencapai Zifron dan berakhir di Hazar-Enan; itulah batas utaramu.
10 And you shall measure to yourselves the eastern border from Arsenain to Sepphamar.
Sebagai batasmu di sebelah timur haruslah kamu membuat tanda batas dari Hazar-Enan ke Sefam.
11 And the border shall go down from Sepphamar to Bela eastward to the fountains, and the border shall go down from Bela behind the sea Chenereth eastward.
Dari Sefam batas itu turun ke Ribla, di sebelah timur Ain; kemudian batas itu turun lagi dan mencapai tebing danau Kineret di sebelah timur.
12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the termination shall be the salt sea; this shall be your land and its borders round about.
Lalu batas itu turun ke sungai Yordan dan berakhir di Laut Asin. Itulah negerimu menurut batas-batasnya sekeliling."
13 And Moses charged the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the land which you shall inherit by lot, even as the Lord commanded us to give it to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasse.
Musa memerintahkan kepada orang Israel: "Itulah negeri yang akan kamu bagi sebagai milik pusaka dengan membuang undi, yang diperintahkan TUHAN untuk diberikan kepada suku yang sembilan setengah itu.
14 For the tribe of the children of Ruben, and the tribe of the children of Gad have received [their inheritance] according to their families; and the half-tribe of Manasse have received their inheritances.
Sebab suku bani Ruben menurut puak-puak mereka dan suku bani Gad menurut puak-puak mereka telah menerima milik pusakanya; juga suku Manasye yang setengah itu telah menerimanya.
15 Two tribes and half a tribe have received their inheritance beyond Jordan by Jericho from the south eastwards.
Dua setengah suku itu telah menerima milik pusaka mereka di seberang sungai Yordan di dekat Yerikho, ke sebelah timur."
16 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
17 These [are] the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for an inheritance; Eleazar the priest and Joshua the [son] of Naue.
"Inilah nama orang-orang yang harus membagikan tanah itu kepadamu sebagai milik pusaka: imam Eleazar dan Yosua bin Nun.
18 And you shall take one ruler from [each] tribe to divide the land to you by lot.
Lagi haruslah kamu mengambil seorang pemimpin dari setiap suku untuk membagikan tanah itu sebagai milik pusaka.
19 And these [are] the names of the men; of the tribe of Juda Chaleb the son of Jephonne.
Inilah nama orang-orang itu: dari suku Yehuda: Kaleb bin Yefune;
20 Of the tribe of Symeon, Salamiel the son of Semiud.
dari suku bani Simeon: Samuel bin Amihud;
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Eldad the son of Chaslon.
dari suku Benyamin: Elidad bin Kislon;
22 Of the tribe of Dan the prince [was] Bacchir the son of Egli.
dari suku bani Dan seorang pemimpin: Buki bin Yogli;
23 Of the sons of Joseph of the tribe of the sons of Manasse, the prince was Aniel the son of Suphi.
dari anak-anak Yusuf, yakni dari suku bani Manasye seorang pemimpin Haniel bin Efod;
24 Of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince was Camuel the son of Sabathan.
dan dari suku bani Efraim seorang pemimpin: Kemuel bin Siftan;
25 Of the tribe of Zabulon, the prince was Elisaphan the son of Pharnac.
dari suku bani Zebulon seorang pemimpin: Elisafan bin Parnah;
26 Of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince was Phaltiel the son of Oza.
dari suku bani Isakhar seorang pemimpin: Paltiel bin Azan;
27 Of the tribe of the children of Aser, the prince was Achior the son of Selemi.
dari suku bani Asyer seorang pemimpin: Ahihud bin Selomi;
28 Of the tribe of Nephthali, the prince was Phadael the son of Jamiud.
dari suku bani Naftali seorang pemimpin: Pedael bin Amihud.
29 These did the Lord command to distribute [the inheritances] to the children of Israel in the land of Chanaan.
Itulah orang-orang yang diperintahkan TUHAN untuk membagikan milik pusaka kepada orang Israel di tanah Kanaan."
