Joel 2

1 Sound the trumpet in Sion, make a proclamation in my holy mountain, and let all the inhabitants of the land be confounded: for the day of the Lord is near;

၁ဇိအုန် တောင်ပေါ် မှာ တံပိုး ကို မှုတ် ကြလော့။ သန့်ရှင်း သော ငါ့ တောင် ပေါ် မှာ သတိပေးသော အသံ ကို ပြုကြလော့။ ပြည်သူ ပြည်သားအပေါင်း တို့သည် တုန်လှုပ် ကြစေ။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နေ့ ရက်သည် လာ ၍ နီး ပြီ။

2 for a day of darkness and gloominess is near, a day of cloud and mist: a numerous and strong people shall be spread upon the mountains as the morning; there has not been from the beginning one like it, and after it there shall not be again even to the years of many generations.

၂မိုက်မဲ သောနေ့ ၊ မိုဃ်း အုံ့၍ မှောင်မိုက် ထူထပ် သောနေ့ ဖြစ်၏။ နေအာရုန် သည် တောင် ထိပ်တို့ကို နှံ့ပြား သကဲ့သို့ ၊ အများ ဖြစ်၍အားကြီး သော အမျိုး သည် လာ၏။ ရှေး ကာလ ၌ ထိုသို့ မ ဖြစ် စဖူး။ နောင် ကာလ အစဉ်အဆက်၌လည်း မ ဖြစ် ရ လတံ့။

3 Before them is a consuming fire, and behind them is a flame kindled: the land before them is as a paradise of delight, and behind them a desolate plain: and there shall none of them escape.

၃သူ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ မီး လောင် ၏။ နောက် ၌လည်း မီးလျှံ တောက် ၏။ ရှေ့ တွင်ရှိသောပြည် သည် ဧဒင် ဥယျာဉ် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။ နောက် ၌ကား၊ သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းသော လွင်ပြင် ဖြစ်၏။ အကယ် စင်စစ်သူ တို့လက်မှ အဘယ်အရာမျှ မ လွတ် ရ။

4 Their appearance is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they pursue.

၄သူ တို့သည် အဆင်း အားဖြင့်မြင်း နှင့်တူ ၍ ၊ မြင်းစီး သူရဲကဲ့သို့ ပြေး ကြလိမ့်မည်။

5 As the sound of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, and as the sound of a flame of fire devouring stubble, and as a numerous and strong people setting themselves in array for battle.

၅ရထား မြည်သံ ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း ၊ အမှိုက် ကို လောင် သော မီး မြည်သံ ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း အသံမြည်၍ တောင် ထိပ် တို့အပေါ် မှာ ခုန် ကြလိမ့်မည်။ စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းငှါခင်းကျင်း ၍ အားကြီး သော လူ အလုံးအရင်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

6 Before them shall the people be crushed: every face [shall be] as the blackness of a caldron.

၆သူ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ လူ တို့သည် အလွန်ပင်ပန်း သောစိတ် ရှိ၍၊ ခပ်သိမ်း သောသူတို့ သည် မျက်နှာ မည်း ကြ လိမ့်မည်။

7 As warriors shall they run, and as men of war shall they mount on the walls; and each shall move in his [right] path, and they shall not turn aside from their tracks:

၇သူတို့သည် သူရဲ ကဲ့သို့ ပြေး ၍ စစ်သူရဲ ကဲ့သို့ မြို့ရိုး ကို တက် ကြလိမ့်မည်။ လမ်း မ လွှဲ ဘဲ အသီးအသီး မိမိ တို့လမ်း သို့ တည့်တည့်လိုက် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

8 and not one shall stand aloof from his brother: they shall go on weighed down with their arms, and they fall upon their weapons, yet shall they in no wise be destroyed.

၈တဦး ကိုတဦးမ တိုက် ဘဲ မိမိ လမ်း သို့ မိမိလိုက် ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထားသွား ကို ထိ သော်လည်းရှန ခြင်းကို မ ခံရကြ။

9 They shall seize upon the city, and run upon the walls, and go up upon the houses, and enter in through the windows as thieves.

၉မြို့ ထဲမှာတလည်လည် ပြေး လျက်၊ မြို့ရိုး ကို ကျော် လျက်၊ အိမ် ပေါ် သို့ တက် လျက်၊ သူခိုး ကဲ့သို့ ပြတင်းပေါက် ထဲသို့ ဝင် လျက်ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။

10 Before them the earth shall be confounded, and the sky shall be shaken: the sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their light.

၁၀သူ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ မြေကြီး လှုပ် လိမ့်မည်။ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင် လည်း တုန်ခိုက် လိမ့်မည်။ နေ နှင့် လ သည် မိုက် ၍ ၊ ကြယ် တို့သည် မ ထွန်းလင်းဘဲနေကြလိမ့်မည်။

11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his host: for his camp is very great: for the execution of his words is mighty: for the day of the Lord is great, very glorious, and who shall be able to [resist] it?

၁၁ထာဝရဘုရား သည်လည်း မိမိ တပ် တော်ရှေ့ မှာ အသံ ကို လွှင့် တော်မူမည်။ တပ် တော်သည် အလွန် ကြီးမား ၏။ စကား တော်အတိုင်း စီရင် သောသူသည် တန်ခိုး ကြီး တော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နေ့ ရက်သည် ကြီး ၍ အလွန် ကြောက်မက် ဘွယ်သော နေ့ရက်ဖြစ်၏။ အဘယ်သူ ခံနိုင် သနည်း။

12 Now therefore, says the Lord your God, turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with lamentation:

၁၂သို့ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ယခု တွင် အစာရှောင် ခြင်း၊ ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်း ခြင်းနှင့်တကွ စိတ် နှလုံး အကြွင်းမဲ့ ငါ့ ထံ သို့ပြန် လာကြလော့။

13 and rend your hearts, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for he is merciful and compassionate, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy, and repents of evils.

၁၃အဝတ် ကို မ ဆုတ်ဘဲ နှလုံး ကို ဆုတ် လျက် ၊ သင် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ထံ တော်သို့ ပြန် လာကြလော့။ ချစ် သနားခြင်းမေတ္တာ ကရုဏာနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍ စိတ်ရှည် သော သဘော၊ အလွန် ကျေးဇူး ပြုချင်သော သဘော၊ အပြစ် ပေး ခြင်းကို နောင်တရ တတ်သော သဘောရှိတော်မူ၏။

14 Who knows if he will return, and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, even a meat-offering and a drink-offering to the Lord your God?

၁၄သင်တို့သည် သင် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား အား ဘောဇဉ် ပူဇော်သက္ကာနှင့် သွန်းလောင်း ရာ ပူဇော်သက္ကာကို ဆက်ကပ်ရန် ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဘုရားသခင် သည် တဖန် ပြန်လာ၍ နောင်တရ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ကောင်းကြီး မင်္ဂလာကို ထား ရစ်စေတော်မူမည်မမူမည်ကို အဘယ်သူ သိ နိုင် သနည်း။

15 Sound the trumpet in Sion, sanctify a fast, proclaim a [solemn] service:

၁၅ဇိအုန် တောင်ပေါ် မှာ တံပိုး ကို မှုတ် ကြလော့။ အစာရှောင် ရသောအချိန်ကို ခန့် ထား၍ ခြိုးခြံ စွာကျင့် ရသောအချိန်ကို ကြော်ငြာ ကြလော့။

16 gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the infants at the breast: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

၁၆လူ များတို့ကို ခေါ် ၍ စုဝေးသော ပရိသတ် တို့ကို သန့်ရှင်း စေကြလော့။ အသက်ကြီး သောသူတို့ ကို၎င်း၊ ငယ် သောသူနှင့်နို့စို့ သောသူတို့ ကို၎င်းစုဝေး စေကြလော့။ မင်္ဂလာဆောင် လုလင်သည် မိမိ အခန်း ထဲက ၎င်း ၊ မင်္ဂလာဆောင် သတို့သမီးသည် မိမိ ကွယ်၍နေသော ကုလားကာ တွင်းက ၎င်း ထွက် စေ။

17 Between the porch and the altar let the priests that minister to the Lord weep, and say, Spare your people, O Lord, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them, lest they should say among the heathen, Where is their God?

၁၇ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမှု တော်စောင့်၊ ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်တို့သည် အိမ်တော်ဦး နှင့် ယဇ် ပလ္လင်စပ်ကြား မှာ ငိုကြွေး လျက် ၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏လူ များကို သနား တော်မူပါ။ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အစိုးရ၍ အမွေ တော်လူတို့ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့ စေခြင်းငှါ အပ်နှံ တော်မ မူပါ နှင့်။ သူ တို့ ဘုရား သခင်ကား၊ အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်းဟု တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆို ရကြပါ သနည်းဟု လျှောက် ကြစေ။

18 But the Lord was jealous of his land, and spared his people.

၁၈သို့ပြုလျှင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ပြည် တော်ကို မစချင်သောစိတ် အားကြီး၍ မိမိ လူ တို့ကို ကယ်မ သနား တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

19 And the Lord answered and said to his people, Behold, I [will] send you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied with them: and I will no longer make you a reproach among the Gentiles.

၁၉အကယ်စင်စစ်ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ထူး တော်မူလျက် ၊ ငါ သည် ဆန် စပါး၊ စပျစ်ရည် ၊ ဆီ ကို ပေး လိုက်၍ သင်တို့သည် ဝ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ နောက် တဖန် တပါးအမျိုးသား ကဲ့ရဲ့ ရာဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ ငါမ ပြု ။

20 And I will chase away from you the northern [adversary], and will drive him away into a dry land, and I will sink his face in the former sea, and his back parts in the latter sea, and his ill savor shall come up, and his stink come up, because he has wrought great things.

၂၀မြောက် မျက်နှာတပ်သားတို့ကို သင် တို့နေရာ မှ ငါပယ် ရှားမည်။ အဘယ်သူ မျှမရှိ၊ သွေ့ခြောက် သော အရပ် သို့ နှင် ထုတ်မည်။ အရှေ့ ပင်လယ် ကို မျက်နှာ ပြု လျက် ၊ အနောက် ပင်လယ် ကို ကျောခိုင်း လျက် ချီ သွားလိမ့်မည် ။ ပုပ်စပ်နံစော်သော အနံ့ ထွက် လိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကြီး သော အမှုတို့ကို ပြု တော်မူမည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

21 Be of good courage, O land; rejoice and be glad: for the Lord has done great things.

၂၁အိုပြည် တော်၊ မ စိုးရိမ် နှင့်။ ဝမ်းမြောက် ရွှင်လန်းခြင်းရှိလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကြီး သောအမှုတို့ကို ပြု တော်မူမည်။

22 Be of good courage, you beasts of the plain, for the plains of the wilderness have budded, for the trees have borne their fruit, the fig tree and the vine have yielded their strength.

၂၂အိုတော သားရဲ တို့၊ မ စိုးရိမ် ကြနှင့်။ တော မြက်ပင် ပေါက် လျက်၊ သစ်ပင် တို့သည် အသီး ကို သီး လျက်၊ သင်္ဘော သဖန်းပင်နှင့် စပျစ် နွယ်ပင်တို့လည်း အား ထုတ် လျက်ရှိကြ၏။

23 Rejoice then and be glad, you children of Sion, in the Lord your God: for he has given you food fully, and he will rain on you the early and the latter rain, as before.

၂၃အိုဇိအုန် မြို့သား တို့၊ ဝမ်းမြောက် ၍ သင် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို အမှီပြုလျက် ရွှင်လန်း ကြလော့။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ဓမ္မ ဆရာကို ပေး တော်မူ၍ အစ အဦး၌ လည်း အရင် မိုဃ်းနှင့် နောက်မိုဃ်း ကို သင် တို့အပေါ် မှာ ရွာ စေတော်မူမည်။

24 And the floors shall be filled with corn, and the presses shall overflow with wine and oil.

၂၄ကောက်နယ် တလင်းတို့သည် စပါး နှင့် ပြည့် ၍ ၊ အသီး နယ်ရာ ကျင်းတို့၌လည်း စပျစ်ရည် နှင့် ဆီ လျှံ ကြ လိမ့်မည်။

25 And I will recompense you for the years which the locust, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, and the cankerworm have eaten, [even] my great army, which I sent against you.

၂၅အရာဘကျိုင်း ၊ ယာလက်ကျိုင်း ၊ ခါသိလကျိုင်း ၊ ဂါဇံ ကျိုင်းတည်းဟူသောငါစေလွှတ် သော ငါ ၏ မဟာ ဗိုလ်ခြေတို့ ကိုက်စား သော နှစ် ပေါင်းကာလကို ငါပြန် ပေး မည်။

26 And you shall eat abundantly, and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of the Lord your God [for the things] which he has wrought wonderfully with you: and my people shall not be ashamed for ever.

၂၆သင် တို့သည် ဝ စွာ စား ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ အံ့ဩ ဘွယ်သောအမှုတို့ကို သင် တို့၌ ပြု သော သင် တို့၏ဘုရား သခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏နာမတော် ကို ချီးမွမ်း ကြလိမ့်မည်။ နောက် တဖန် ငါ ၏လူ တို့သည်လည်း ရှက် ကြောက်ခြင်းမ ရှိရကြ။

27 And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and [that] I am the Lord your God, and [that] there is none else beside me; and my people shall no more be ashamed for ever.

၂၇ငါ သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏အလယ် ၌ ရှိ ကြောင်း ကို၎င်း ၊ အခြား သော ဘုရားမ ရှိ၊ ငါ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် တို့၏ဘုရား သခင်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကို၎င်းသင်တို့သိ ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ နောက် တဖန်ငါ ၏လူ တို့သည် ရှက်ကြောက် ခြင်းမ ရှိရကြ။

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.

၂၈ထိုနောက်မှ လူမျိုး တကာ တို့ အပေါ် သို့ ငါ ၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို ငါသွန်းလောင်း မည်။ သင် တို့၏ သား သမီး တို့သည် ပရောဖက် ဉာဏ်နှင့် ဟောပြောရကြ လိမ့်မည်။ အသက်ကြီး သောသူတို့သည် နိမိတ်အိပ်မက် တို့ကို မြင်မက် ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ အသက် ငယ်သောသူတို့ သည်လည်း ဗျာဒိတ် ရူပါရုံတို့ကို မြင် ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

29 And on my servants and on [my] handmaids in those days will I pour out of my Spirit.

၂၉ငါ၏အမှု ကို ဆောင်ရွက်သော ယောက်ျားမိန်းမ တို့အပေါ် သို့ ငါ ၏ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို ငါသွန်းလောင်း ၍၊ သူတို့သည် ပရောဖက်ဉာဏ်နှင့် ဟောပြောရကြလိမ့်မည်။

30 And I will show wonders in heaven, and upon the earth, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.

၃၀မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ၌ ၎င်း ၊ မြေကြီး ပေါ်၌ ၎င်း ၊ အံ့ဘွယ် သောအရာတည်းဟူသောသွေး ၊ မီးလျှံ ၊ မီးခိုး တိုင် တို့ကို ငါပြ မည်။

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord come.

၃၁ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ကြောက်မက် ဘွယ်သောနေ့ ကြီး မတိုင်မှီ၊ နေ သည်မှောင်မိုက် အတိ ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။ လ သည်လည်း သွေး ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။

32 And it shall come to pass [that] whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved: for in mount Sion and in Jerusalem shall the saved one be as the Lord has said, and they that have glad tidings preached to them, whom the Lord has called.

၃၂ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ပဌနာ ပြု သောသူ ရှိသမျှ တို့သည် ကယ်တင် တော်မူခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရကြ လတံ့။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း ဇိအုန် တောင် ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ခေါ် တော်မူသောသူ အကျန် အကြွင်းတို့အဘို့ ကယ်တင် ခြင်းအခွင့် ရှိ ရလတံ့။
