Esias 7
1 And it came to pass in the days of Achaz [the son] of Joatham, the son of Ozias, king of Juda, there came up Rasim king of Aram, and Phakee son of Romelias, king of Israel, against Jerusalem to war against it, but they could not take it.
౧యూదా రాజైన ఉజ్జియా మనవడు, యోతాము కుమారుడు అయిన ఆహాజు దినాల్లో సిరియా రాజు రెజీను, ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు, రెమల్యా కుమారుడు అయిన పెకహు యెరూషలేముపై దండెత్తారు. అది వారివల్ల కాలేదు.
2 And a message was brought to the house of David, saying, Aram has conspired with Ephraim. And his soul was amazed, and the soul of his people, as in a wood a tree is moved by the wind.
౨అప్పుడు సిరియా వారు ఎఫ్రాయిము వారిని తోడు తెచ్చుకున్నారని దావీదు వంశం వారికి తెలిసినప్పుడు గాలికి అడవి చెట్లు ఊగినట్టు వారి హృదయాలు, వారి ప్రజల హృదయాలు గిలగిలలాడాయి.
3 And the Lord said to Esaias, Go forth to meet Achaz, you, and your son Jasub who is left, to the pool of the upper way of the fuller's field.
౩అప్పుడు యెహోవా యెషయాతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. ఆహాజుకు ఎదురు వెళ్ళు. నీవు, నీ కుమారుడు షెయార్యాషూబు చాకిరేవు దారిలో ఎగువ కోనేటి కాలవ దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళండి.
4 And you shall say to him, Take care to be quiet, and fear not, neither let your soul be disheartened because of these two smoking firebrands: for when my fierce anger is over, I will heal again.
౪అతనితో చెప్పు “భద్రం. కంగారు పడకు. పొగ లేస్తున్న ఈ రెండు కాగడాలకు అంటే రెజీను, సిరియా వాళ్ళు, రెమల్యా కొడుకు పెకహు-వీళ్ళ కోపాగ్నికి జడిసి పోకు. బెదిరిపోకు.
5 And [as for] the son of Aram, and the son of Romelias, forasmuch as they have devised an evil counsel, [saying],
౫సిరియా, ఎఫ్రాయిము, రెమల్యా కొడుకు నీకు కీడు చేయాలని ఆలోచించారు.
6 We will go up against Judea, and having conferred with them we will turn them away to our side, and we will make the son of Tabeel king of it;
౬‘మనం యూదా దేశం మీదికి పోయి దాని ప్రజలను భయపెట్టి దాని ప్రాకారాలు పడగొట్టి టాబెయేలు కొడుకును దానిపై రాజుగా చేద్దాం రండి’ అని చెప్పుకున్నారు.”
7 thus says the Lord of hosts, This counsel shall not abide, nor come to pass.
౭అయితే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా సెలవిస్తున్నాడు. “ఆ మాట నిలవదు, అది జరగదు.
8 But the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus, Rasim; and yet within sixty and five years the kingdom of Ephraim shall cease from [being] a people.
౮సిరియాకు రాజధాని దమస్కు. దమస్కుకు రాజు రెజీను. అరవై ఐదు సంవత్సరాల లోపు ఎఫ్రాయిము ఒక జాతిగా ఉండకుండా నాశనమై పోతుంది.
9 And the head of Ephraim is Somoron, and the head of Somoron the son of Romelias: but if you believe not, neither will you at all understand.
౯షోమ్రోను ఎఫ్రాయిముకు రాజధాని. షోమ్రోనుకు రాజు రెమల్యా కొడుకు. మీరు విశ్వాసంలో స్థిరంగా ఉండక పోతే భద్రంగా ఉండరు.”
10 And the Lord again spoke to Achaz, saying,
౧౦యెహోవా ఆహాజుకు ఇంకా ఇలా చెప్పాడు.
౧౧“నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను సూచన అడుగు. అది ఎంత లోతైనదైనా, ఎంత ఎత్తయినదైనా సరే.” (Sheol h7585)
12 And Achaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
౧౨కానీ ఆహాజు “నేను అడగను. యెహోవాను పరీక్షించను” అన్నాడు.
13 And he said, Hear you now, O house of David; is it a little thing for you to contend with men? and how do you contend against the Lord?
౧౩కాబట్టి యెషయా ఇలా జవాబిచ్చాడు. “దావీదు వంశస్థులారా, వినండి. మనుషులను విసికించడం చాలదన్నట్టు నా దేవుణ్ణి కూడా విసిగిస్తారా?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive in the womb, and shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Emmanuel.
౧౪కాబట్టి ప్రభువు తానే ఒక సూచన మీకు చూపుతాడు. వినండి, కన్య గర్భం ధరించి కుమారుణ్ణి కని అతనికి ‘ఇమ్మానుయేలు’ అని పేరు పెడుతుంది.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, before he knows either to prefer evil [or] choose the good.
౧౫కీడును తోసిపుచ్చడం, మేలును కోరుకోవడం అతనికి తెలిసి వచ్చేనాటికి అతడు పెరుగు, తేనె తింటాడు.
16 For before the child shall know good or evil, he refuses evil, to choose the good; and the land shall be forsaken which you are afraid of because of the two kings.
౧౬కీడును తోసిపుచ్చడం, మేలును కోరుకోవడం అతనికి తెలిసి రాక ముందే ఎవరిని చూసి నువ్వు హడలి పోతున్నావో ఆ ఇద్దరు రాజుల దేశం నాశనమై పోతుంది.
17 But God shall bring upon you, and upon your people, and upon the house of your father, days which have never come, from the day that Ephraim took away from Juda the king of the Assyrians.
౧౭యెహోవా నీ పైకి, నీ జాతి పైకి, నీ పితరుల కుటుంబం వారి మీదికి బాధ దినాలను, ఎఫ్రాయిము యూదా నుండి వేరైపోయిన దినం మొదలు నేటి వరకూ రాని దినాలను రప్పిస్తాడు. ఆయన అష్షూరు రాజును నీపైకి రప్పిస్తాడు.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall hiss for the flies, which [insect] shall rule over a part of the river of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the land of the Assyrians.
౧౮ఆ దినాన దూరంగా ఐగుప్తు ప్రవాహాల దగ్గర ఉన్న జోరీగలను, అష్షూరు దేశపు కందిరీగలను యెహోవా ఈల వేసి పిలుస్తాడు.
19 And they all shall enter into the clefts of the land, and into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves, and into every ravine.
౧౯అవన్నీ వచ్చి మెట్టల్లో లోయల్లో బండల సందుల్లో ముళ్ళ పొదలన్నిటిలో గడ్డి బీడులన్నిటిలో దిగి ఉండిపోతాయి.
20 In that day the Lord shall shave with the hired razor of the king of Assyria beyond the river the head, and the hairs of the feet, and will remove the beard.
౨౦ఆ దినాన యెహోవా నది (యూప్రటీసు) అవతలి నుండి కిరాయికి వచ్చే మంగలి కత్తితో, అంటే అష్షూరు రాజు చేత నీ తల వెంట్రుకలను కాళ్ల వెంట్రుకలను గొరిగిస్తాడు. అది నీ గడ్డాన్ని కూడా గొరిగిస్తుంది.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] a man shall rear a heifer, and two sheep.
౨౧ఆ దినాన ఒకడు ఒక చిన్న ఆవును, రెండు గొర్రెలను పెంచుకుంటే
22 And it shall come to pass from their drinking an abundance of milk, [that] every one that is left on the land shall eat butter and honey.
౨౨అవి సమృద్ధిగా పాలిచ్చినందువల్ల అతడు పెరుగు తింటాడు. ఎందుకంటే ఈ దేశంలో శత్రువులు వదిలేసి పోయిన వారందరూ పెరుగు తేనెలు తింటారు.
23 And it shall come to pass in that day, [for] every place where there shall be a thousand vines at a thousand shekels, they shall become barren land and thorns.
౨౩ఆ దినాన వెయ్యి వెండి నాణేల విలువగల వెయ్యి ద్రాక్షచెట్లు ఉండే ప్రతి స్థలంలో ముళ్ళతుప్పలు, బ్రహ్మజెముడు చెట్లు పెరుగుతాయి.
24 [Men] shall enter there with arrow and bow; for all the land shall be [barren] ground and thorns.
౨౪ఈ దేశమంతా ముళ్ళ తుప్పలతో, బ్రహ్మ జెముడు చెట్లతో నిండి ఉంటుంది గనక విల్లంబులు చేతబట్టుకుని ప్రజలు వేటకు అక్కడికి పోతారు.
25 And every mountain shall be certainly plowed: there shall no fear come there: for there shall be from [among] the [barren] ground and thorns that whereon cattle shall feed and oxen shall tread.
౨౫ముళ్ళతుప్పల, బ్రహ్మ జెముడు చెట్ల భయం వల్ల మునుపు పారతో తవ్వి సాగు చేసిన కొండల వైపుకు మనుషులు పోరు. అది పశువులు, గొర్రెలు పచ్చిక మేసే చోటుగా ఉంటుంది.”
