Esias 45
1 Thus says the Lord God to my anointed Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, that nations might be obedient before him; and I will break through the strength of kings; I will open doors before him, and cities shall not be closed.
੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੋਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਫੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਮਰ ਕੱਸੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਬੰਦ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ।
2 I will go before you, and will level mountains: I will break to pieces brazen doors, and burst iron bars.
੨ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚੇ-ਉੱਚੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਧਰਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ।
3 And I will give you the treasures of darkness, I will open to you hidden, unseen [treasures], that you may know that I, the Lord your God, that call you by name, am the God of Israel.
੩ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ, ਅਤੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਬੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
4 For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel mine elect, I will call you by your name, and accept you: but you have not known me.
੪ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਦਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।
5 For I am the Lord God, and there is no other God beside me; I strengthened you, and you have not known me.
੫ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਲ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ,
6 That they that [come] from the east and they that [come] from the west may know that there is no God but me. I am the Lord God, and there is none beside.
੬ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ ਅਤੇ ਲਹਿੰਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣਨ, ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
7 I am he that prepared light, and formed darkness; who make peace, and create evil; I am the Lord God, that does all these things.
੭ਮੈਂ ਚਾਨਣ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
8 Let the heaven rejoice from above, and let the clouds rain righteousness: let the earth bring forth, and blossom [with] mercy, and bring forth righteousness likewise: I am the Lord that created you.
੮ਹੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ੋ, ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਓ! ਅਤੇ ਗਗਨ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਮ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ, ਧਰਤੀ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਲਿਆਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਗਾਵੇ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
9 What excellent thing have I prepared as clay of the potter? Will the plowman plow the earth all day? shall the clay say to the potter, What are you doing that you do not work, nor have hands? shall the thing formed answer him that formed it?
੯ਹਾਏ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਠੀਕਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਠੀਕਰਾ ਹੈ! ਭਲਾ, ਮਿੱਟੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੇ, ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਾਂ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ ਇਹ ਆਖੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੱਥ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ!
10 As though one should say to [his] father, What will you beget me? and to his mother, What are you bringing forth?
੧੦ਹਾਏ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੂੰ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ?
11 For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, who has formed the things that are to come, Enquire of me concerning my sons, and concerning the works of my hands command me.
੧੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਪੁੱਛੋਗੇ? ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ, ਮੇਰੀ ਦਸਤਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਖੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿਓਗੇ?
12 I have made the earth, and man upon it: I with my hand have established the heaven; I have given commandment to all the stars.
੧੨ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਣਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਾਰਾ-ਮੰਡਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
13 I have raised him up [to be] a king with righteousness, and all his ways are right: he shall build my city, and shall turn the captivity of my people, not for ransoms, nor for rewards, says the Lord of hosts.
੧੩ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਠਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਹ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸਾਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਦੇ, ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
14 Thus says the Lord of hosts, Egypt has laboured [for you]; and the merchandise of the Ethiopians, and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall pass over to you, and shall be your servants; and they shall follow after you bound in fetters, and shall pass over to you, and shall do obeisance to you, and make supplication to you: because God is in you; and there is no God beside you, [O Lord].
੧੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ, ਕੂਸ਼ ਦਾ ਵਪਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਕੱਦ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਉਹ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਸੰਗਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਕੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ।
15 For you are God, yet we knew [it] not, the God of Israel, the Saviour.
੧੫ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈਂ ਜੋ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ।
16 All that are opposed to him shall be ashamed and confounded, and shall walk in shame: you isles, keep a feast to me.
੧੬ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਉਠਾਉਣਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਸਾਜ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
17 Israel is saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation: they shall not be ashamed nor confounded for evermore.
੧੭ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੰਤ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਲਈ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੁੱਗੋ-ਜੁੱਗ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ, ਨਾ ਨਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਉਠਾਓਗੇ।
18 Thus says the Lord that made the heaven, this God that created the earth, and made it; he marked it out, he made it not in vain, but formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord, and there is none beside.
੧੮ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੋ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, - ਉਹ ਉਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ, - ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਵੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ, - ਉਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।
19 I have not spoken in secret, nor in a dark place of the earth: I said not to the seed of Jacob, Seek vanity: I, even I, am the Lord, speaking righteousness, and proclaiming truth.
੧੯ਮੈਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਨਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੈਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕਿ “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਭਾਲੋ,” ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਂ।
20 Assemble yourselves and come; take counsel together, you that escape of the nations: they that set up wood, [even] their graven image, have no knowledge, nor they who pray to gods that do not save.
੨੦ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਆਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਵੋ, ਹੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਇਓ ਲੋਕੋ। ਉਹ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾ ਸਕਦਾ!
21 If they will declare, let them draw near, that they may know together, who has caused these things to be heard from the beginning: then was it told you. I am God, and there is not another beside me; a just [God] and a Saviour; there is none but me.
੨੧ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰੋ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰੋ, - ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰਨ, - ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਿਆ? ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਹ ਦਾ ਵਰਨਣ ਕੀਤਾ? ਭਲਾ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ? ਮੇਰੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਧਰਮੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੀਦਾਤਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
22 Turn you to me, and you shall be saved, you that [come] from the end of the earth: I am God, and there is none other.
੨੨ਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜੋ ਅਤੇ ਬਚ ਜਾਓ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜੋ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ।
23 By myself I swear, righteousness shall surely proceed out of my mouth; my words shall not be frustrated; that to me every knee shall bend, and every tongue shall swear by God,
੨੩ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੁੜੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਹਰੇਕ ਗੋਡਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨਿਵੇਗਾ, ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇਗੀ।
24 saying, Righteousness and glory shall come to him: and all that remove them from their borders shall be ashamed.
੨੪ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਲ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
25 By the Lord shall they be justified, and in God shall all the seed of the children of Israel be glorified.
੨੫ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਵੰਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
