Jezekiel 43
1 Moreover he brought me to the gate looking eastward, and led me forth.
Als er mich hierauf zum Tor, zu dem nach Osten gerichteten Tore, zurückgeführt hatte,
2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came by the eastern way; and [there was] a voice of an army, as the sound of many redoubling [their shouts], and the earth shone like light from the glory round about.
erschien plötzlich die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels von Osten her; ihr Rauschen schallte wie das Rauschen gewaltiger Wasserfluten, und die Erde leuchtete von seiner Herrlichkeit.
3 And the vision which I saw was like the vision which I saw when I went in to anoint the city: and the vision of the chariot which I saw was like the vision which I saw at the river Chobar; and I fell upon my face.
Die Erscheinung, die sich mir darbot, glich der Erscheinung, die ich geschaut hatte, als er gekommen war, um die Stadt zu vernichten, und die Erscheinung des Wagens, den ich erblickte, war dieselbe Erscheinung, die ich schon am Flusse Kebar gesehen hatte; und ich warf mich auf mein Angesicht nieder.
4 And the glory of the Lord came into the house, by the way of the gate looking eastward.
Als dann die Herrlichkeit des HERRN durch das nach Osten gerichtete Tor in den Tempelbezirk eingezogen war,
5 And the Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the house of the Lord was full of glory.
hob die Gotteskraft mich empor und brachte mich in den inneren Vorhof; und siehe da: der Tempel war von der Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllt.
6 And I stood, and behold [there was] a voice out of the house of one speaking to me, and a man stood near me,
Da hörte ich, wie jemand vom Tempel her mich anredete, während der Mann noch neben mir stand.
7 and he said to me, Son of man, you have seen the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, in which my name shall dwell in the midst of the house of Israel for ever; and the house of Israel shall no more profane my holy name, they and their princes, by their fornication, or by the murders of [their] princes in the midst of them;
Und jener sagte zu mir: »Menschensohn, dies ist die Stätte meines Thrones und (dies) die Stätte meiner Fußsohlen, wo ich für immer inmitten der Kinder Israel wohnen will. Das Haus Israel wird aber hinfort meinen heiligen Namen nicht mehr entweihen, weder sie noch ihre Könige, durch ihre Abgötterei und durch die Leichen ihrer Könige bei deren Tode,
8 when they set my door-way by their door-way, and my thresholds near to their thresholds: and they made my wall as it were joining myself and them, and they profaned my holy name with their iniquities which they wrought: and I destroyed them in my wrath and with slaughter.
dadurch daß sie ihre Schwelle an meiner Schwelle und ihre Türpfosten neben den meinigen anbrachten, so daß sich nur die Wand zwischen mir und ihnen befand und sie so meinen heiligen Namen durch ihre Greuel entweihten, die sie verübten, so daß ich sie in meinem Zorn vernichtete.
9 And now let them put away from me their fornication, and the murders of their princes, and I will dwell in the midst of them forever.
Wenn sie nunmehr aber ihre Abgötterei und die Leichen ihrer Könige fern von mir halten, dann will ich für immer unter ihnen wohnen.
10 And you, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may cease from their sins; and [show] its aspect and the arrangement of it.
Du aber, Menschensohn, erstatte dem Hause Israel Bericht über diesen Tempel, damit sie sich ihrer Verschuldungen schämen.
11 And they shall bear their punishment for all the things that they have done: and you shall describe the house, and its entrances, and the plan thereof, and all its ordinances, and you shall make known to them all the regulations of it, and describe [them] before them: and they shall keep all my commandments, and all my ordinances, and do them.
Wenn sie sich dann alles dessen schämen, was sie begangen haben, dann laß sie den Bauplan des Tempels und seine Einrichtung, seine Aus- und Eingänge, seine ganze Gestalt und alle für ihn gültigen Satzungen und Bestimmungen wissen und schreibe es vor ihren Augen auf, damit sie auf seine ganze Gestaltung und alle für ihn gültigen Anordnungen achtgeben und sie zur Ausführung bringen.
12 And you shall show the plan of the house on the top of the mountain: all its limits round about [shall be] most holy.
Dies ist die für den Tempel gültige Ordnung: ›Auf dem Gipfel des Berges soll er liegen und sein ganzer Bezirk ringsum hochheilig sein!‹ Siehe, dies ist die für den Tempel gültige Ordnung!«
13 And these are the measures of the altar by the cubit of a cubit and a span, the cavity [shall be] a cubit deep, and a cubit shall be the breadth, and the border on the rim of it round about shall be a span: and this [shall be] the height of the altar
Dies nun waren die Maße des Altars nach Ellen, die Elle zu einer gewöhnlichen Elle und einer Handbreite gerechnet: seine Grundeinfassung war eine Elle hoch und eine Elle breit, und die Randleiste an ihrem Rande ringsum eine Spanne hoch. Und dies war die Höhe des Altars:
14 from the bottom at the commencement of the hollow part to this great mercy-seat, from beneath was two cubits, and the breadth was a cubit; and from the little mercy-seat to the great mercy-seat, four cubits, and the breadth was a cubit.
von der Grundeinfassung am Boden bis zu der unteren Umfriedigung zwei Ellen Höhe und eine Elle Breite; dann von der kleinen Umfriedigung bis zu der großen Umfriedigung vier Ellen Höhe und eine Elle Breite;
15 And the altar [shall be] four cubits; and from the altar and above the horns a cubit.
dann der Opferherd vier Ellen Höhe; und vom Opferherd ragten die vier Hörner (eine Elle) empor.
16 And the altar [shall be] of the length of twelve cubits, by twelve cubits [in breadth], square upon its four sides.
Der Opferherd war zwölf Ellen lang bei zwölf Ellen Breite, quadratförmig an seinen vier Seiten.
17 And the mercy-seat [shall be] fourteen cubits in length, by fourteen cubits in breadth on its four sides; and [there shall be] a border to it carried round about it of half a cubit; and the rim of it [shall be] a cubit round about; and the steps thereof looking eastward.
Die große Umfriedigung hatte vierzehn Ellen Länge bei vierzehn Ellen Breite, so daß ihre vier Seiten ein Quadrat bildeten; und die Randleiste rings um sie herum war eine halbe Elle breit und die Grundeinfassung an ihr eine Elle (breit) ringsum. Die Stufen des Altars aber befanden sich auf der Ostseite.
18 And he said to me, Son of man, thus says the Lord God of Israel; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day of its being made, to offer upon it whole burnt offerings, and to pour blood upon it.
Hierauf sagte er zu mir: »Menschensohn, so spricht Gott der HERR: ›Dies sind die Satzungen, die für den Altar gültig sind an dem Tage, wo er hergestellt sein wird, daß man Brandopfer auf ihm darbringe und Blut auf ihn sprenge.
19 And you shall appoint to the priests the Levites of the seed of Sadduc, that draw near to me, says the Lord God, to minister to me, a calf of the herd for a sin-offering.
Da sollst du den levitischen Priestern, die zu den Nachkommen Zadoks gehören und die mir nahen dürfen‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN –, ›um meinen Dienst zu versehen, einen jungen Stier zum Sündopfer geben,
20 And they shall take of its blood, and shall put [it] on the four horns of the altar, and upon the four corners of the propitiatory, and upon the base round about, and they shall make atonement for it.
und sie sollen etwas von seinem Blute nehmen und es an die vier Hörner des Altars tun und an die vier Ecken der Umfriedigung und an die Randleiste ringsum, um ihn so zu entsündigen und die Sühne für ihn zu vollziehen.
21 And they shall take the calf of the sin-offering, and it shall be consumed by fire in the separate place of the house, outside the sanctuary.
Alsdann sollen sie den zum Sündopfer dienenden Stier nehmen, damit man ihn auf dem dazu bestimmten Platze des Tempelbezirks außerhalb des Heiligtums verbrenne.
22 And on the second day they shall take two kids of the goats without blemish for a sin-offering; and they shall make atonement for the altar, as they made atonement with the calf.
Am zweiten Tage aber sollen sie einen fehllosen Ziegenbock als Sündopfer darbringen und mit ihm den Altar entsündigen, wie sie ihn mit dem Stier entsündigt haben.
23 And after they have finished the atonement, they shall bring an unblemished calf of the herd, and an unblemished ram of the flock.
Wenn sie dann mit der Entsündigung fertig sind, sollen sie einen fehllosen jungen Stier von den Rindern und einen fehllosen Widder vom Kleinvieh opfern;
24 And you shall offer [them] before the Lord, and the priests shall sprinkle salt upon them, and shall offer them up [as] whole burnt offerings to the Lord.
die sollen sie vor den HERRN bringen und [die Priester sollen] Salz auf sie streuen und sie dem HERRN als Brandopfer darbringen.
25 Seven days shall you offer a kid daily for a sin-offering, and a calf of the herd, and a ram out of the flock: they shall sacrifice them unblemished for seven days:
Sieben Tage lang sollen sie so täglich einen Bock als Sündopfer darbringen; auch einen jungen Stier von den Rindern und einen Widder vom Kleinvieh, fehllose Tiere, sollen sie opfern.
26 and they shall make atonement for the altar, and shall purge it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
Sieben Tage lang sollen sie so die Entsündigung des Altars vornehmen und ihn reinigen und ihn so einweihen.
27 And it shall come to pass from the eighth day and onward, [that] the priests shall offer your whole burnt offerings on the altar, and your peace-offerings; and I will accept you, says the Lord.
Wenn man dann mit diesen Tagen zu Ende ist, sollen die Priester am achten Tage und weiterhin eure Brand- und Heilsopfer auf dem Altar darbringen, und ich werde euch gnädig annehmen!« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
