< Exodus 39 >

1 All the gold that was employed for the works according to all the fabrication of the holy things, was of the gold of the offerings, twenty-nine talents, and seven hundred and twenty shekels according to the holy shekel.
De hyacintho vero et purpura, vermiculo ac bysso fecit vestes, quibus indueretur Aaron quando ministrabat in sanctis, sicut praecepit Dominus Moysi.
2 And the offering of silver from the men that were numbered of the congregation a hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels, one drachm apiece, even the half shekel, according to the holy shekel.
Fecit igitur superhumerale de auro, hyacintho, et purpura, coccoque bis tincto, et bysso retorta,
3 Every one that passed the survey from twenty years old and upwards to the [number of] six hundred thousand, and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
opere polymitario, inciditque bracteas aureas, et extenuavit in fila, ut possent torqueri cum priorum colorum subtegmine,
4 And the hundred talents of silver went to the casting of the hundred chapiters of the tabernacle, and to the chapiters of the veil;
duasque oras sibi invicem copulatas in utroque latere summitatum,
5 a hundred chapiters to the hundred talents, a talent to a chapiter.
et balteum ex eisdem coloribus, sicut praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
6 And the thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels he formed into hooks for the pillars, and he gilt their chapiters and adorned them.
Paravit et duos lapides onychinos, astrictos et inclusos auro, et sculptos arte gemmaria, nominibus filiorum Israel:
7 And the brass of the offering [was] seventy talents, and a thousand five hundred shekels;
posuitque eos in lateribus superhumeralis in monimentum filiorum Israel, sicut praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
8 and they made of it the bases of the door of the tabernacle of witness,
Fecit et rationale opere polymito iuxta opus superhumeralis, ex auro, hyacintho, purpura, coccoque bis tincto, et bysso retorta:
9 and the bases of the court round about, and the bases of the gate of the court, and the pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court round about;
quadrangulum, duplex, mensurae palmi.
10 and the brazen appendage of the altar, and all the vessels of the altar, and all the instruments of the tabernacle of witness.
Et posuit in eo gemmarum ordines quattuor. In primo versu erat sardius, topazius, smaragdus.
11 And the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses, so did they.
In secundo, carbunculus, sapphirus, et iaspis.
12 And of the gold that remained of the offering they made vessels to minister with before the Lord.
In tertio, ligurius, achates, et amethystus.
13 And the blue that was left, and the purple, and the scarlet they made [into] garments of ministry for Aaron, so that he should minister with them in the sanctuary;
In quarto, chrysolithus, onychinus, et beryllus, circumdati et inclusi auro per ordines suos.
14 and they brought the garments to Moses, and the tabernacle, and its furniture, its bases and its bars and the posts;
Ipsique lapides duodecim, sculpti erant nominibus duodecim tribuum Israel, singuli per nomina singulorum.
15 and the ark of the covenant, and its bearers, and the altar and all its furniture.
Fecerunt in rationali et catenulas sibi invicem cohaerentes, de auro purissimo:
16 And they made the anointing oil, and the incense of composition, and the pure candlestick,
et duos uncinos, totidemque annulos aureos. Porro annulos posuerunt in utroque latere rationalis,
17 and its lamps, lamps for burning, and oil for the light,
e quibus penderent duae catenae aureae, quas inseruerunt uncinis, qui in superhumeralis angulis eminebant.
18 and the table of show bread, and all its furniture, and the show bread upon it,
Haec et ante et retro ita conveniebant sibi, ut superhumerale et rationale mutuo necterentur,
19 and the garments of the sanctuary which belong to Aaron, and the garments of his sons, for the priestly ministry;
stricta ad balteum et annulis fortius copulata, quos iungebat vitta hyacinthina, ne laxa fluerent, et a se invicem moverentur, sicut praecepit Dominus Moysi.
20 and the curtains of the court, and the posts, and the veil of the door of the tabernacle, and the gate of the court,
Feceruntque quoque tunicam superhumeralis totam hyacinthinam,
21 and all the vessels of the tabernacle and all its instruments: and the skins, even rams' skins dyed red, and the blue coverings, and the coverings of the other things, and the pins, and all the instruments for the works of the tabernacle of witness.
et capitium in superiori parte contra medium, oramque per gyrum capitii textilem:
22 Whatsoever things the Lord appointed Moses, so did the children of Israel make all the furniture.
deorsum autem ad pedes mala punica ex hyacintho, purpura, vermiculo, ac bysso retorta:
23 And Moses saw all the works; and they had done them all as the Lord commanded Moses, so had they made them; and Moses blessed them.
et tintinnabula de auro purissimo, quae posuerunt inter malogranata in extrema parte tunicae per gyrum:
tintinnabulum autem aureum, et malum punicum, quibus ornatus incedebat pontifex quando ministerio fungebatur, sicut praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
Fecerunt et tunicas byssinas opere textili Aaron et filiis eius:
et mitras cum coronulis suis ex bysso:
feminalia quoque linea, byssina:
cingulum vero de bysso retorta, hyacintho, purpura, ac vermiculo distinctum arte plumaria, sicut praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
Fecerunt et laminam sacrae venerationis de auro purissimo, scripseruntque in ea opere gemmario, Sanctum Domini:
et strinxerunt eam cum mitra vitta hyacinthina, sicut praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
Perfectum est igitur omne opus tabernaculi et tecti testimonii: feceruntque filii Israel cuncta quae praeceperat Dominus Moysi.
Et obtulerunt tabernaculum et tectum et universam supellectilem, annulos, tabulas, vectes, columnas ac bases,
opertorium de pellibus arietum rubricatis, et aliud operimentum de hyacinthinis pellibus,
velum: arcam, vectes, propitiatorium,
mensam cum vasis suis et propositionis panibus:
candelabrum, lucernas, et utensilia earum cum oleo:
altare aureum, et unguentum, et thymiama ex aromatibus:
et tentorium in introitu tabernaculi:
altare aeneum, retiaculum, vectes, et vasa eius omnia: labrum cum basi sua: tentoria atrii, et columnas cum basibus suis:
tentorium in introitu atrii, funiculosque illius et paxillos. Nihil ex vasis defuit, quae in ministerium tabernaculi, et in tectum foederis iussa sunt fieri.
Vestes quoque, quibus sacerdotes utuntur in Sanctuario, Aaron scilicet et filii eius,
obtulerunt filii Israel, sicut praeceperat Dominus.
Quae postquam Moyses cuncta vidit completa, benedixit eis.
