Exodus 36
1 And Beseleel wrought, and Eliab and every one wise in understanding, to whom was given wisdom and knowledge, to understand to do all the works according to the holy offices, according to all things which the Lord appointed.
So werden denn Bezaleel und Oholiab und alle kunstverständigen Männer, denen der HERR Kunstsinn und Einsicht verliehen hat, so daß sie sich auf die Ausführung aller für das Heiligtum erforderlichen Arbeiten verstehen, alles nach den Anordnungen des HERRN ausführen.«
2 And Moses called Beseleel and Eliab, and all that had wisdom, to whom God gave knowledge in [their] heart, and all who were freely willing to come forward to the works, to perform them.
Hierauf berief Mose den Bezaleel und Oholiab und alle kunstverständigen Männer, denen der HERR Kunstsinn verliehen hatte, alle, die sich dazu getrieben fühlten, sich an der Ausführung des Werkes zu beteiligen.
3 And they received from Moses all the offerings, which the children of Israel brought for all the works of the sanctuary to do them; and they continued to receive the gifts brought, from those who brought them in the morning.
Sie empfingen dann von Mose alle die Gaben, welche die Israeliten zur Ausführung der Arbeiten für das Heiligtum beigesteuert hatten; man brachte ihm aber an jedem Morgen immer noch freiwillige Geschenke.
4 And there came all the wise men who wrought the works of the sanctuary, each according to his own work, which they wrought.
Da kamen alle Künstler, welche die ganze Arbeit für das Heiligtum auszuführen hatten, Mann für Mann, von der besonderen Arbeit, mit der sie beschäftigt waren,
5 And one said to Moses, The people bring an abundance [too great] in proportion to all the works which the Lord has appointed [them] to do.
und sagten zu Mose: »Das Volk bringt viel mehr, als zur Verwendung für die Arbeiten, deren Ausführung der HERR geboten hat, erforderlich ist.«
6 And Moses commanded, and proclaimed in the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman any longer labor for the offerings of the sanctuary; and the people were restrained from bringing any more.
Da ließ Mose durch Ausruf im Lager bekanntmachen: »Niemand, weder Mann noch Frau, möge fernerhin noch eine Arbeit als Beisteuer für das Heiligtum anfertigen!« Da mußte das Volk aufhören, noch weitere Spenden zu bringen;
7 And they had materials sufficient for making the furniture, and they left some besides.
denn der gelieferte Vorrat reichte für die Ausführung aller Arbeiten aus, ja es blieb davon noch übrig.
8 And every wise one among those that wrought made the robes of the holy places, which belong to Aaron the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.
So stellten denn alle kunstverständigen Männer unter den Werkleuten die Wohnung aus zehn Teppichen her; aus gezwirntem Byssus, blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin, mit Cherubbildern in Kunstweberarbeit stellte er sie her.
9 And he made the ephod of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Die Länge jedes einzelnen Teppichs betrug achtundzwanzig Ellen und die Breite vier Ellen: alle Teppiche hatten dieselbe Größe.
10 And the plates were divided, the threads of gold, so as to interweave with the blue and purple, and with the spun scarlet, and the fine linen twined, they made it a woven work;
Je fünf Teppiche fügte er dann zu einem Stück zusammen, einen an den andern.
11 shoulder-pieces joined from both sides, a work woven by mutual twisting of the parts into one another.
Sodann brachte er Schleifen von blauem Purpur am Saum des äußersten Teppichs des einen zusammengesetzten Stückes an, und ebenso machte er es am Saum des äußersten Teppichs bei dem andern zusammengesetzten Stück.
12 They made it of the same material according to the making of it, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined, as the Lord commanded Moses;
Fünfzig Schleifen brachte er an dem einen Teppich an und ebenso fünfzig Schleifen am Saum des Teppichs, der zu dem andern zusammengesetzten Stück gehörte, so daß die Schleifen einander genau gegenüberstanden.
13 and they made the two emerald stones clasped together and set in gold, graven and cut after the cutting of a seal with the names of the children of Israel;
Sodann fertigte er fünfzig goldene Haken an und verband die Teppiche vermittels der Haken miteinander, so daß die Wohnung ein Ganzes bildete.
14 and he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, [as] stones of memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord appointed Moses.
Weiter fertigte er Teppiche aus Ziegenhaar zu einer Zeltdecke über der Wohnung an; elf Teppiche fertigte er dazu an.
15 And they made the oracle, a work woven with embroidery, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Die Länge jedes Teppichs betrug dreißig Ellen und die Breite vier Ellen: alle elf Teppiche hatten dieselbe Größe.
16 They made the oracle square [and] double, the length of a span, and the breadth of a span, —double.
Dann fügte er fünf von diesen Teppichen zu einem Stück für sich zusammen und ebenso die sechs anderen Teppiche für sich.
17 And there was interwoven with it a woven work of four rows of stones, a series of stones, the first row, a sardius and topaz and emerald;
Dann brachte er fünfzig Schleifen am Saum des äußersten Teppichs des einen zusammengesetzten Stückes an und ebenso fünfzig Schleifen am Saum des äußersten Teppichs des andern zusammengesetzten Stückes.
18 and the second row, a carbuncle and sapphire and jasper;
Hierauf fertigte er fünfzig kupferne Haken an, um die Zeltdecke zusammenzufügen, so daß sie ein Ganzes bildete. –
19 and the third row, a ligure and agate and amethyst;
Sodann verfertigte er für das Zeltdach eine Schutzdecke von rotgefärbten Widderfellen und darüber noch eine andere Schutzdecke von Seekuhhäuten.
20 and the fourth row a chrysolite and beryl and onyx set round about with gold, and fastened with gold.
Weiter fertigte er die Bretter für die Wohnung aus Akazienholz an, sie standen aufrecht;
21 And the stones were twelve according to the names of the children of Israel, graven according to their names like seals, each according to his own name for the twelve tribes.
die Länge jedes Brettes betrug zehn Ellen und die Breite anderthalb Ellen;
22 And they made on the oracle turned wreaths, wreathen work, of pure gold,
an jedem Brett saßen zwei Zapfen, einer dem andern gegenüber eingefügt; so machte er es an allen Brettern der Wohnung.
23 and they made two golden circlets and two golden rings.
Und zwar stellte er an Brettern für die Wohnung her: zwanzig Bretter für die Mittagsseite südwärts;
24 And they put the two golden rings on both the [upper] corners of the oracle;
und er brachte unter diesen zwanzig Brettern vierzig silberne Füße an, je zwei Füße unter jedem Brett für seine beiden Zapfen.
25 and they put the golden wreaths on the rings on both sides of the oracle, and the two wreaths into the two couplings.
Ebenso fertigte er für die andere Seite der Wohnung, nämlich für die Nordseite, zwanzig Bretter an
26 And they put them on the two circlets, and they put them on the shoulders of the ephod opposite [each other] in front.
und vierzig silberne Füße dazu, je zwei Füße unter jedem Brett.
27 And they made two golden rings, and put them on the two projections on the top of the oracle, and on the top of the hinder part of the ephod within.
Aber für die Hinterseite der Wohnung, nach Westen zu, fertigte er sechs Bretter an,
28 And they made two golden rings, and put them on both the shoulders of the ephod under it, in front by the coupling above the connexion of the ephod.
außerdem noch zwei Bretter für die Ecken der Wohnung an der Hinterseite.
29 And he fastened the oracle by the rings that were on it to the rings of the ephod, which were fastened with [a string] of blue, joined together with the woven work of the ephod; that the oracle should not be loosed from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Diese waren unten und gleicherweise oben vollständig bis an den ersten Ring hin; so machte er es bei beiden für die beiden Ecken.
30 And they made the tunic under the ephod, woven work, all of blue.
Demnach waren es im ganzen acht Bretter, dazu ihre Füße von Silber: sechzehn Füße, immer zwei Füße unter jedem Brett.
31 And the opening of the tunic in the midst woven closely together, the opening having a fringe round about, that it might not be tore.
Sodann fertigte er Riegel aus Akazienholz an: fünf für die Bretter der einen Seitenwand der Wohnung
32 And they made on the border of the tunic below pomegranates as of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
und fünf Riegel für die Bretter der andern Seitenwand der Wohnung und fünf Riegel für die Bretter an der Hinterseite der Wohnung gegen Westen.
33 And they made golden bells, and put the bells on the border of the tunic round about between the pomegranates:
Den mittleren Riegel aber machte er so, daß er in der Mitte der Bretter von einem Ende bis zum andern durchlief.
34 a golden bell and a pomegranate on the border of the tunic round about, for the ministration, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Die Bretter aber überzog er mit Gold, und auch die dazugehörigen Ringe, die zur Aufnahme der Riegel dienten, stellte er aus Gold her und überzog die Riegel gleichfalls mit Gold.
35 And they made vestments of fine linen, a woven work, for Aaron and his sons,
Weiter fertigte er den Vorhang aus blauem und rotem Purpur, aus Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus an, und zwar in Kunstweberarbeit mit Cherubbildern.
36 and the tires of fine linen, and the mitre of fine linen, and the drawers of fine linen twined;
Dann fertigte er für ihn vier Säulen von Akazienholz an und überzog sie mit Gold; auch ihre Nägel waren von Gold; und er goß für sie vier silberne Füße. –
37 and their girdles of fine linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet spun, the work of an embroiderer, according as the Lord commanded Moses.
Sodann fertigte er für den Eingang des Zeltes einen Vorhang von blauem und rotem Purpur, von Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus in Buntwirkerarbeit;
38 And they made the golden plate, a dedicated thing of the sanctuary, of pure gold;
außerdem die dazugehörigen fünf Säulen und ihre Nägel. Ihre Köpfe und Ringbänder überzog er mit Gold; die fünf dazu gehörigen Füße aber waren von Kupfer.
39 and he wrote upon it graven letters [as] of a seal, Holiness to the Lord.
40 And they put it on the border of blue, so that it should be on the mitre above, as the Lord commanded Moses.
