Deuteronomy 7
1 And when the Lord your God shall bring you into the land, into which you go to possess it, and shall remove great nations from before you, the Chettite, and Gergesite, and Amorite, and Chananite, and Pherezite, and Evite, and Jebusite, seven nations [more] numerous and stronger than you,
১আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকক যি দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিবলৈ উলিয়াই আনিলে, সেই দেশত আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকক লৈ যাব আৰু অনেক জাতিক আপোনালোকৰ সন্মুখৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰিব। এই জাতিবোৰ হ’ল হিত্তীয়া, গিৰ্গাচীয়া, ইমোৰীয়া, কনানীয়া, পৰিজ্জীয়া, হিব্বীয়া, আৰু যিবুচীয়া। এই সাতটা জাতি আপোনালোকতকৈ বৃহৎ আৰু শক্তিশালী।
2 and the Lord your God shall deliver them into your hands, then you shall strike them: you shall utterly destroy them: you shall not make a covenant with them, neither shall you pity them:
২তেওঁ যেতিয়া যুদ্ধত তেওঁলোকক আপোনালোকৰ হাতত আনি দিব আৰু আপোনালোকক বিজয়ী কৰিব, তেতিয়া আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকক সমূলে ধ্বংস কৰি পেলাব। তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে কোনো সন্ধি নকৰিব আৰু তেওঁলোকক দয়া নেদেখুৱাব;
3 neither shall you contract marriages with them: you shall not give your daughter to his son, and you shall not take his daughter to your son.
৩নাইবা তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে বিবাহৰ সম্বন্ধ স্থাপন নকৰিব; আপোনালোকৰ ছোৱালীবোৰক তেওঁলোকৰ পুতেকলৈ বিয়া নিদিব, আৰু নিজৰ ল’ৰাৰ কাৰণেও তেওঁলোকৰ ছোৱালীক বিয়া কৰাই নানিব।
4 For he will draw away your son from me, and he will serve other gods; and the Lord will be very angry with you, and will soon utterly destroy you.
৪কিয়নো সেই ছোৱালীবোৰে আপোনালোকৰ ল’ৰাবোৰক মোক অনুসৰণ কৰাৰ পৰা আঁতৰাই নিব আৰু আন দেৱ-দেৱীৰ সেৱা পূজা কৰাব; সেয়ে হ’লে, আপোনালোকলৈ যিহোৱাৰ ক্ৰোধ প্ৰজ্বলিত হ’ব, আৰু তেওঁ আপোনালোকক শীঘ্ৰে বিনষ্ট কৰিব।
5 But thus shall you do to them; you shall destroy their altars, and shall break down their pillars, and shall cut down their groves, and shall burn with fire the graven images of their gods.
৫বৰং আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকলৈ এই ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব; তেওঁলোকৰ যজ্ঞ-বেদীবোৰ ভাঙি পেলাব, তেওঁলোকৰ পূজাৰ স্তম্ভবোৰ ডোখৰ ডোখৰ কৰিব, আচেৰা মূৰ্ত্তিবোৰ কাটি পেলাব, আৰু কটা প্ৰতিমাবোৰ জুইত পুৰি পেলাব।
6 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; and the Lord your God chose you to be to him a peculiar people beyond all nations that [are] upon the face of the earth.
৬কিয়নো আপোনালোক নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ পবিত্ৰ লোক; পৃথিবীত থকা সকলো জাতিৰ মাজৰ পৰা, নিজৰ এক বিশেষ জাতি হ’বলৈ, আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোককহে মনোনীত কৰি আনিলে।
7 It was not because you are more numerous than all [other] nations that the Lord preferred you, and the Lord made choice of you: for you are fewer in number than all [other] nations.
৭আন সকলো জাতিতকৈ আপোনালোক লেখত অধিক বুলি যে যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকক স্নেহ কৰিলে বা মনোনীত কৰিলে, এনে নহয়; কিয়নো আন সকলো জাতিৰ তুলনাত আপোনালোক লেখত তাকৰহে আছিল।
8 But because the Lord loved you, and as keeping the oath which he sware to your fathers, the Lord brought you out with a strong hand, and the Lord redeemed you from the house of bondage, out of the hand of Pharao king of Egypt.
৮কিন্তু যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকক প্ৰেম কৰে, আৰু আপোনালোকৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ ওচৰত তেওঁ যি শপত কৰিছিল, তাক ৰক্ষা কৰিবৰ কাৰণে তেওঁ ইয়াক কৰিলে। সেইবাবেই তেওঁ এক ক্ষমতাশালী হাতেৰে আপোনালোকক বাহিৰ কৰি আনিলে আৰু মিচৰৰ ৰজা ফৰৌণৰ অধীনত দাসত্বৰ বন্ধনগৃহৰ পৰা উদ্ধাৰ কৰিলে।
9 You shall know therefore, that the Lord your God, he [is] God, a faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy for them that love him, and for those that keep his commandments to a thousand generations,
৯এতেকে আপোনালোকে জানিব যে, ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনাৰ ঈশ্বৰ; তেওঁক প্ৰেম কৰা আৰু তেওঁৰ আজ্ঞা পালন কৰাসকলৰ পক্ষে তেওঁ হাজাৰ হাজাৰ পুৰুষলৈকে দয়া আৰু নিয়মটি ৰক্ষা কৰোঁতা বিশ্বস্ত ঈশ্বৰ;
10 and who recompenses them that hate him to their face, to destroy them utterly; and will not be slack with them that hate him: he will recompense them to their face.
১০কিন্তু তেওঁক ঘিণ কৰাসকলক বিনষ্ট কৰি তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক প্ৰতিফল দিয়ে; তেওঁক ঘিণ কৰা লোকলৈ তেনে কৰাত তেওঁ পলম নকৰে; যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ সাক্ষাতেই তেওঁলোকক প্ৰতিফল দিব।
11 You shall keep therefore the commands, and the ordinances, and these judgments, which I command you this day to do.
১১এই হেতুকে, মই আজি আপোনালোকক যি সকলো আজ্ঞা, বিধি, আৰু শাসন-প্ৰণালী দিছো, সেই সকলোকে মানি চলি সেইদৰে কাৰ্য কৰিব।
12 And it shall come to pass when you shall have heard these ordinances, and shall have kept and done them, that the Lord your God shall keep for you the covenant and the mercy, which he sware to your fathers.
১২যদি আপোনালোকে এই সকলো নিয়মবোৰলৈ মনোযোগ দিয়ে আৰু সেইবোৰ যত্নেৰে পালন কৰি সেই মতে কাৰ্য কৰে, তেন্তে আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ ওচৰত যি প্রতিজ্ঞা কৰিছিল, সেই অনুসাৰে আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণে তেওঁ যি নিয়ম স্থাপন কৰিলে, তাক বিশ্বস্ততাৰে ৰক্ষা কৰিব।
13 And he will love you, and bless you, and multiply you; and he will bless the off-spring of your body, and the fruit of your land, your corn, and your wine, and your oil, the herds of your oxen, and the flocks of your sheep, on the land which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to you.
১৩তেওঁ আপোনালোকক প্ৰেম কৰিব, আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিব আৰু আপোনালোকৰ সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি কৰিব; যি দেশ দিম বুলি আপোনালোকৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ আগত তেওঁ শপত কৰিছিল, সেই দেশত আপোনালোকৰ গৰ্ভফল, খেতিৰ ফল, শস্য, নতুন দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস, তেল, আপোনালোকৰ পশুবোৰৰ লগতে মেৰ আৰু ছাগলী পোৱালীৰ সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি আদি সকলোতে তেওঁ আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিব।
14 You shall be blessed beyond all nations; there shall not be among you an impotent or barren one, or among your cattle.
১৪সকলো জাতিতকৈ আপোনালোকে অধিকগুণে আশীৰ্ব্বাদ পাব আৰু আপোনালোকৰ মাজত কোনো পুৰুষেই সন্তানহীন নহ’ব বা মহিলা সকলো বন্ধ্যা নহ’ব। ল’ৰা সন্তান সকল আৰু জাকৰ পশুবোৰৰ পোৱালি নোহোৱাকৈ নাথাকিব।
15 And the Lord your God shall remove from you all sickness; and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you have seen, and all that you have known, will he lay upon you; but he will lay them upon all that hate you.
১৫যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকৰ মাজৰ পৰা সকলো ৰোগ দূৰ কৰিব; মিচৰত যি সকলো বিষম ৰোগ আপোনালোকে দেখিলে, সেইবোৰ তেওঁ আপোনালোকৰ ওপৰত নিদিব, কিন্তু আপোনালোকক ঘিণ কৰোঁতা সকলৰ ওপৰতহে দিব।
16 And you shall eat all the spoils of the nations which the Lord your God gives you; your eye shall not spare them, and you shall not serve their gods; for this is an offense to you.
১৬আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকৰ হাতত যি সকলো জাতিক শোধাই দি জয়যুক্ত দিব, আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোক সকলোকে গ্ৰাস কৰিব; তেওঁলোকলৈ আপোনালোকে কৃপা-দৃষ্টি নাৰাখিব; তেওঁলোকৰ দেৱতাবোৰক সেৱা-পূজাও নকৰিব, কিয়নো সেয়া আপোনালোকলৈ এক ফান্দস্বৰূপ হ’ব।
17 But if you should say in your heart, This nation [is] greater than I, how shall I be able to destroy them utterly?
১৭আপোনালোকে যদি নিজৰ মনতে ক’য়, যে, “এই জাতি সমূহ আমাতকৈ সংখ্যাত অধিক, আমি কেনেকৈ তেওঁলোকক উৎখাত কৰিম?”
18 you shall not fear them; you shall surely remember all that the Lord your God did to Pharao and to all the Egyptians:
১৮কিন্তু আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকলৈ ভয় নকৰিব; আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই ফৰৌণ আৰু গোটেই মিচৰ দেশলৈ যি যি কৰিছিল, তাক সোঁৱৰণ কৰিব।
19 the great temptations which your eyes have seen, those signs and great wonders, the strong hand, and the high arm; how the Lord your God brought you forth: so the Lord your God will do to all the nations, whom you fear in their presence.
১৯আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই যি সকলো দুখ-কষ্ট, অদ্ভুত চিন, আচৰিত কার্য, শক্তিশালী আৰু ক্ষমতাশালী হাতৰ প্রদর্শনৰ দ্বাৰা আপোনালোকক বাহিৰ কৰি আনিছিল, তাক আপোনালোকে নিজ চকুৰে দেখিছিল। আপোনালোকে এতিয়া যি জাতিবোৰক দেখি ভয় খাইছে, আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকলৈকো সেইদৰে কৰিব।
20 And the Lord your God shall send against them the hornets, until they that are left and they that are hidden from you be utterly destroyed.
২০ইয়াৰ বাহিৰেও, যিসকল অৱশিষ্ট লোক আপোনালোকৰ পৰা লুকাই থাকিব, তেওঁলোক বিনষ্ট নহয় মানে আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকৰ মাজলৈ কোদো পঠাই দিব।
21 You shall not be wounded before them, because the Lord your God in the midst of you [is] a great and powerful God.
২১আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকক ভয় নকৰিব; কিয়নো আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা যিজন মহান আৰু ভয়ঙ্কৰ ঈশ্বৰ তেওঁ আপোনালোকৰ মাজত আছে।
22 And the Lord your God shall consume these nations before you by little and little: you shall not be able to consume them speedily, lest the land become desert, and the wild beasts of the field be multiplied against you.
২২আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকৰ আগৰ পৰা সেই জাতিবোৰক ক্ৰমে ক্ৰমে দূৰ কৰিব; তেওঁলোক সকলোকে আপোনালোকে একেলগে পৰাস্ত নকৰিব, কাৰণ তেনে কৰিলে আপোনালোকৰ চাৰিওফালৰ বনৰীয়া জন্তুবোৰৰ সংখ্যা বাঢ়ি যাব।
23 And the Lord your God shall deliver them into your hands, and you shall destroy them with a great destruction, until you shall have utterly destroyed them.
২৩কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই ভীষণ বিশৃঙ্খলতাৰ মাজত তেওঁলোকক ধ্বংস নকৰালৈকে যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রত আপোনালোকৰ হাতত তেওঁলোকক পৰাজয় কৰিবলৈ শোধাই দিব।
24 And he shall deliver their kings into your hands, and you shall destroy their name from that place; none shall stand up in opposition before you, until you shall have utterly destroyed them.
২৪তেওঁলোকৰ ৰজাসকলক আপোনালোকৰ হাতত শোধাই দিব; তাতে আপোনালোকে আকাশৰ তলৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকৰ নাম লুপ্ত কৰিব। আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকক বিনষ্ট নকৰে মানে আপোনালোকৰ আগত কোনো লোক থিয় হ’ব নোৱাৰিব।
25 You shall burn with fire the graven images of their gods: you shall not covet [their] silver, neither shall you take to yourself gold from them, lest you should offend thereby, because it is an abomination to the Lord your God.
২৫আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ খোদিত মুৰ্ত্তিবোৰ জুইত পুৰি ভষ্ম কৰিব; আপোনালোক যেন ফান্দত নপৰে, এই কাৰণে সেইবোৰত থকা ৰূপ বা সোণলৈ লোভ নকৰিব আৰু তাক নিজৰ কাৰণে নল’ব; কিয়নো সেইবোৰ আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ অতিশয় ঘিণলগীয়া বস্তু।
26 And you shall not bring an abomination into your house, so should you be an accursed thing like it; you shall utterly hate it, and altogether abominate it, because it is an accursed thing.
২৬আপোনালোকে ঘিণলগীয়া কোনো বস্তু নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ আনি তাৰ উপাসনা নকৰিব। সেইবোৰক আপোনালোকে মনে-প্রাণে ঘৃণা আৰু তুচ্ছ কৰিব, কাৰণ সেইবোৰক ধ্বংসৰ বাবে পৃথক কৰা হৈছে।
