Deuteronomy 27
1 And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded, saying, Keep all these commands, all that I command you this day.
१फिर इस्राएल के वृद्ध लोगों समेत मूसा ने प्रजा के लोगों को यह आज्ञा दी, “जितनी आज्ञाएँ मैं आज तुम्हें सुनाता हूँ उन सब को मानना।
2 And it shall come to pass in the day when you shall cross over Jordan into the land which the Lord your God gives you, that you shall set up for yourself great stones, and shall plaster them with plaster.
२और जब तुम यरदन पार होकर उस देश में पहुँचो, जो तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझे देता है, तब बड़े-बड़े पत्थर खड़े कर लेना, और उन पर चूना पोतना;
3 And you shall write on these stones all the words of this law, as soon as you have crossed Jordan, when you are entered into the land, which the Lord God of your fathers gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, according as the Lord God of your fathers said to you.
३और पार होने के बाद उन पर इस व्यवस्था के सारे वचनों को लिखना, इसलिए कि जो देश तेरे पूर्वजों का परमेश्वर यहोवा अपने वचन के अनुसार तुझे देता है, और जिसमें दूध और मधु की धाराएँ बहती हैं, उस देश में तू जाने पाए।
4 And it shall be as soon as you are gone over Jordan, you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, on mount Gaebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster.
४फिर जिन पत्थरों के विषय में मैंने आज आज्ञा दी है, उन्हें तुम यरदन के पार होकर एबाल पहाड़ पर खड़ा करना, और उन पर चूना पोतना।
5 And you shall build there an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones; you shall not lift up iron upon it.
५और वहीं अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के लिये पत्थरों की एक वेदी बनाना, उन पर कोई औज़ार न चलाना।
6 Of whole stones shall you build an altar to the Lord your God, and you shall offer upon it whole burnt offerings to the Lord your God.
६अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की वेदी अनगढ़े पत्थरों की बनाकर उस पर उसके लिये होमबलि चढ़ाना;
7 And you shall there offer a peace-offering; and you shall eat and be filled, and rejoice before the Lord your God.
७और वहीं मेलबलि भी चढ़ाकर भोजन करना, और अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के सम्मुख आनन्द करना।
8 And you shall write upon the stones all this law very plainly.
८और उन पत्थरों पर इस व्यवस्था के सब वचनों को स्पष्ट रीति से लिख देना।”
9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, Be silent and hear, O Israel; this day you are become a people to the Lord your God.
९फिर मूसा और लेवीय याजकों ने सब इस्राएलियों से यह भी कहा, “हे इस्राएल, चुप रहकर सुन; आज के दिन तू अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की प्रजा हो गया है।
10 And you shall listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and shall do all his commands, and his ordinances, as many as I command you this day.
१०इसलिए अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की बात मानना, और उसकी जो-जो आज्ञा और विधि मैं आज तुझे सुनाता हूँ उनका पालन करना।”
11 And Moses charged the people on that day, saying,
११फिर उसी दिन मूसा ने प्रजा के लोगों को यह आज्ञा दी,
12 These shall stand to bless the people on mount Garizin having gone over Jordan; Symeon, Levi, Judas, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
१२“जब तुम यरदन पार हो जाओ तब शिमोन, लेवी, यहूदा, इस्साकार, यूसुफ, और बिन्यामीन, ये गिरिज्जीम पहाड़ पर खड़े होकर आशीर्वाद सुनाएँ।
13 And these shall stand for cursing on mount Gaebal; Ruben, Gad, and Aser, Zabulon, Dan, and Nephthali.
१३और रूबेन, गाद, आशेर, जबूलून, दान, और नप्ताली, ये एबाल पहाड़ पर खड़े होकर श्राप सुनाएँ।
14 And the Levites shall answer and say to all Israel with a loud voice,
१४तब लेवीय लोग सब इस्राएली पुरुषों से पुकारके कहें:
15 Cursed [is] the man whoever shall make a graven or molten image, an abomination to the Lord, the work of the hands of craftsmen, and shall put it in a secret place: and all the people shall answer and say, So be it.
१५‘श्रापित हो वह मनुष्य जो कोई मूर्ति कारीगर से खुदवाकर या ढलवा कर निराले स्थान में स्थापन करे, क्योंकि इससे यहोवा घृणा करता है।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
16 Cursed is the man that dishonors his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, So be it.
१६‘श्रापित हो वह जो अपने पिता या माता को तुच्छ जाने।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
17 Cursed is he that removes his neighbor's landmarks: and all the people shall say, So be it.
१७‘श्रापित हो वह जो किसी दूसरे की सीमा को हटाए।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
18 Cursed is he that makes the blind to wander in the way: and all the people shall say, So be it.
१८‘श्रापित हो वह जो अंधे को मार्ग से भटका दे।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
19 Cursed is every one that shall pervert the judgment of the stranger, and orphan, and widow: and all the people shall say, So be it.
१९‘श्रापित हो वह जो परदेशी, अनाथ, या विधवा का न्याय बिगाड़े।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
20 Cursed is he that lies with his father's wife, because he has uncovered his father's skirt: and all the people shall say, So be it.
२०‘श्रापित हो वह जो अपनी सौतेली माता से कुकर्म करे, क्योंकि वह अपने पिता का ओढ़ना उघाड़ता है।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
21 Cursed is he that lies with any beast: and all the people shall say, So be it.
२१‘श्रापित हो वह जो किसी प्रकार के पशु से कुकर्म करे।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
22 Cursed is he that lies with his sister by his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, So be it.
२२‘श्रापित हो वह जो अपनी बहन, चाहे सगी हो चाहे सौतेली, से कुकर्म करे।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
23 Cursed is he that lies with his daughter-in-law: and all the people shall say, So be it. Cursed is he that lies with his wife's sister: and all the people shall say, So be it.
२३‘श्रापित हो वह जो अपनी सास के संग कुकर्म करे।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
24 Cursed is he that smites his neighbor secretly: and all the people shall say, So be it.
२४‘श्रापित हो वह जो किसी को छिपकर मारे।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
25 Cursed is he whoever shall have taken a bribe to kill an innocent man: and all the people shall say, So be it.
२५‘श्रापित हो वह जो निर्दोष जन के मार डालने के लिये घुस ले।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
26 Cursed is every man that continues not in all the words of this law to do them: and all the people shall say, So be it.
२६‘श्रापित हो वह जो इस व्यवस्था के वचनों को मानकर पूरा न करे।’ तब सब लोग कहें, ‘आमीन।’
