Kings IV 17
1 In the twelfth year of Achaz king of Juda began Osee the son of Ela to reign in Samaria over Israel nine years.
၁ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာခတ် နန်းစံဆယ် နှစ် နှစ် တွင် ဧလာ သား ဟောရှေ သည် နန်းထိုင် ၍ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို ကိုး နှစ်စိုးစံလေ၏
2 And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, only not as the kings of Israel that were before him.
၂ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း သူ့ ရှေ့ မှာ ဖြစ် ဘူးသော ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် တို့ပြုသောဒုစရိုက်ကိုမမှီ
3 Against him came up Salamanassar king of the Assyrians; and Osee became his servant, and rendered him tribute.
၃ထိုမင်း ကိုအာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရှာလမနေဇာ သည် စစ်ချီ ၍ ဟောရှေ သည် ကျွန် ခံသဖြင့် အခွန် ဆက် ရ၏
4 And the king of the Assyrians found iniquity in Osee, in that he sent messengers to Segor king of Egypt, and brought not a tribute to the king of the Assyrians in that year: and the king of the Assyrians besieged him, and bound him in the prison-house.
၄နောက် တဖန်နှစ် တိုင်းဆက်ရသောအခွန် ကို မ ဆက်။ သွာအမည်ရှိသောအဲဂုတ္တု” ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံသို့ သံတမန် ကိုစေလွှတ် ၍ ၊ ပုန်ကန်မည့်အကြံရှိသည်ကို အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် သိ သဖြင့် ၊ ဟောရှေ ကိုဘမ်းဆီး ၍ ထောင် ထဲမှာ ချုပ် ထားပြီးလျှင်၊ “
5 And the king of the Assyrians went up against all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it [for] three years.
၅ဣသရေလပြည် တရှောက်လုံး သို့ စစ်ချီ ၍ ၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့သို့ ရောက် သော် သုံး နှစ် ဝိုင်း ထား၏
6 In the ninth year of Osee the king of the Assyrians took Samaria, and carried Israel away to the Assyrians, and settled them in Alae, and in Abor, [near] the rivers of Gozan, and [in] the mountains of the Medes.
၆ဟောရှေ နန်းစံကိုး နှစ် တွင် ၊ အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ရှမာရိ မြို့ကို ရ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို အာရှုရိ ပြည်သို့ သိမ်းသွား ၍ ဂေါဇန် မြစ် နား၊ ဟာလ မြို့၊ ဟာဗော် မြို့အစရှိသော မေဒိ နိုင်ငံမြို့ ရွာတို့၌ ထား ၏
7 For it came to pass that the children of Israel [had] transgressed against the Lord their God, who had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharao king of Egypt, and they feared other gods,
၇အကြောင်း မူကား၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် နှင့် အဲဂုတ္တု ဖာရော ဘုရင် လက် ထဲက ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူသောမိမိ တို့ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့ သည် ပြစ်မှား ၍ အခြား တပါးသော ဘုရား တို့ကို ရိုသေ ကြ၏
8 and walked in the statutes of the nations which the Lord cast out before the face of the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel as many as did [such things],
၈သူတို့ရှေ့ မှ ထာဝရဘုရား နှင်ထုတ် တော်မူသော တပါးအမျိုးသား တို့ ထုံးစံနှင့် မိမိတို့ချီးမြှောက်သော ရှင် ဘုရင်တို့ ထုံးစံ သို့ လိုက် ကြ၏
9 and [in those] of the children of Israel as many as secretly practised customs, not as [they should have done], against the Lord their God:
၉မိမိ တို့ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား တဘက် ၌ မ တရား သောအမှု ကို မထင် မရှားပြုကြ၏။ ကင်းစောင့် သော မျှော်စင် ဖြစ်စေ ၊ ခိုင်ခံ့ သောမြို့ ဖြစ်စေ ၊ မြို့ရွာ အလုံးစုံ တို့၌ မြင့် သောအရပ်ကို တည် ကြ၏
10 and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fortified city. And they made for themselves pillars and groves on every high hill, and under every shady tree.
၁၀ရုပ်တု ဆင်းတုနှင့် အာရှရ ပင်တို့ကို မြင့် သော ကုန်း ရှိသမျှ တို့ အပေါ် မှာ၎င်း ၊ စိမ်း သောသစ်ပင် ရှိသမျှ အောက် မှာ၎င်း ၊ တည်ထောင် ပြုစုကြ၏
11 And burned incense there on all high places, as the nations [did] whom the Lord removed from before them, and dealt with familiar spirits, and they carved [images] to provoke the Lord to anger.
၁၁သူ တို့ရှေ့ မှ ထာဝရဘုရား နှင်ထုတ် တော်မူသောတပါးအမျိုးသား ပြုသကဲ့သို့ မြင့် သောအရပ်ရှိသမျှ အပေါ် မှာ နံ့သာပေါင်းကိုမီးရှို့ ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမျက် တော် ကို နှိုးဆော်ခြင်းငှါ အဓမ္မ အမှု တို့ကို ပြု ကြ၏
12 And they served the idols, of which the Lord said to them, You shall not do this thing [against] the Lord.
၁၂ထာဝရဘုရား ပညတ် တော်မူသော အမှု၊ ရုပ်တု ဆင်းတုတို့၌ ပူဇော် ခြင်းအမှုကို ပြုကြ၏
13 And the Lord testified against Israel and against Juda, even by the hand of all his prophets, [and] of every seer, saying, Turn you from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my ordinances, and all the law which I commanded your fathers, [and] all that I sent to them by the hand of my servants the prophets.
၁၃သို့ရာတွင် ထာဝရဘုရား က အဓမ္မ လမ်း တို့ကို ရှောင် ကြလော့။ ငါသည် သင် တို့ဘိုးဘေး တို့၌ ထား သော တရား ၊ ငါ့ ကျွန် ပရောဖက် တို့ဖြင့် ပေး လိုက်သောတရား ကို အကုန် အစင်ကျင့်၍၊ ငါ့ စီရင် ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက် ကြလော့ဟု ပရောဖက် များနှင့် အနာဂတ် ဟော ဆရာများတို့ ဖြင့် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၊ ယုဒ အမျိုး၌ သက်သေခံ တော်မူသော်လည်း၊”
14 But they listened not, and made their neck harder than the neck of their fathers.
၁၄သူတို့သည်နား မ ထောင်။ မိမိ တို့ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မ ယုံကြည် သော ဘိုးဘေး တို့ လည်ပင်း ကဲ့သို့ မိမိ တို့လည်ပင်း ကို ခိုင်မာ စေကြ၏
15 And they kept not any of his testimonies which he charged them; and they walked after vanities, and became vain, and after the nations round about them, concerning which the Lord had charged them not to do accordingly.
၁၅စီရင် တော်မူချက်၊ ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် ဖွဲ့ တော်မူသော ပဋိညာဉ် ၊ သူ တို့၌ သက်သေခံ တော်မူသောသက်သေ တို့ကို ပယ် ၍ အနတ္တ တရားကို ကျင့် လျက် အချည်းနှီး သက်သက်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ အကြင် တပါးအမျိုးသား ကျင့်သကဲ့သို့ မ ကျင့် ကြနှင့်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား ပညတ် တော်မူ ၏၊ ပတ်လည် ၌နေသောထို အမျိုးသား နောက် သို့ လိုက်ကြ၏
16 They forsook the commandments of the Lord their God, and made themselves graven images, [even] two heifers, and they made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
၁၆မိမိ တို့ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ပညတ် တော်ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို စွန့် ၍ နွားသငယ် တည်းဟူသောသွန်းသောရုပ်တု နှင့် အာရှရ ပင်ကို လုပ် ကြ၏။ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်တန်ဆာ များကို ကိုးကွယ် ၍ ဗာလ ဘုရားကိုလည်း ဝတ်ပြု ကြ၏
17 And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divinations and auspices, and sold themselves to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him.
၁၇သား သမီး တို့ကို မီး ဖြင့် ပူဇော် ကြ၏။ နတ် ဝိဇ္ဇာအတတ်၊ ပြုစား သောအတတ်ကို သုံးဆောင် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမျက် တော်ကိုနှိုးဆော်ခြင်းငှါ ၊ ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြု မည်ဟု ကိုယ်ကိုရောင်း ကြ၏
18 And the Lord was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight; and there was only left the tribe of Juda quite alone.
၁၈ထိုကြောင့် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြင်းစွာ အမျက် ထွက်၍ မျက်မှောက် တော်မှ ပယ်ရှား တော်မူ၏။ ယုဒ အမျိုး မှတပါး အခြားသော အမျိုးမ ကျန်ကြွင်း ရ
19 Nay even Juda kept not the commandments of the Lord their God, but they walked according to the customs of Israel which they practised, and rejected the Lord.
၁၉ယုဒ အမျိုးမူကား ၊ မိမိ တို့ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ပညတ် တရားတော်ကိုမ စောင့် ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးလိုက် သော ထုံးစံ ဓလေ့သို့ လိုက် ကြ၏
20 And the Lord was angry with the whole seed of Israel, and troubled them, and gave them into the hand of them that spoiled them, until he cast them out of his presence.
၂၀ထာဝရဘုရား သည်လည်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ရှိသမျှ ကို ရွံရှာ ၍ မျက်မှောက် တော်မှ မ နှင်ထုတ် မှီ တိုင်အောင်ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူ၏။ လုယက် သောသူတို့ လက် ၌ အပ် တော်မူ၏
21 Forasmuch as Israel revolted from the house of David, and they made Jeroboam the son of Nabat king: and Jeroboam drew off Israel from following the Lord, and led them to sin a great sin.
၂၁ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းမျိုး မှ ဆုတ်ဖဲ့ ၍ ၊ သူတို့သည် နေဗတ် ၏ သား ယေရောဗောင် ကို ရှင် ဘုရင်အရာ၌ခန့်ထားကြ၏။ ယေရောဗောင် သည်လည်း ထာဝရဘုရား နောက် တော်သို့ လိုက်ရာလမ်းမှ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို လွှဲစေ ၍ ဒုစရိုက် ကြီး ကို ပြု စေ၏
22 And the children of Israel walked in all the sin of Jeroboam which he committed; they departed not from it,
၂၂သို့ဖြစ်၍ ယေရောဗောင် ပြု သော ဒုစရိုက် လမ်း သို့ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့သည် အစဉ်တစိုက်လိုက် ကြ၏
23 until the Lord removed Israel from his presence, as the Lord spoke by all his servants the prophets; and Israel was removed from off their land to the Assyrians until this day.
၂၃ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိ ကျွန် ပရောဖက် အပေါင်း တို့ဖြင့် မိန့် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို မျက်မှောက် တော်မှ ပယ်ရှား တော်မ မူမှီ တိုင်အောင်သူတို့သည် ထို ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကို မ ရှောင် ဘဲလိုက်ကြ၏။ ထိုကြောင့် နေရင်းပြည် မှ အာရှုရိ ပြည်သို့ သိမ်းသွား ခြင်းကိုယနေ့ တိုင်အောင် ခံရကြ၏
24 And the king of Assyria brought from Babylon the men of Chutha, [and men] from Aia, and from Aemath, and Seppharvaim, and they were settled in the cities of Samaria in the place of the children of Israel: and they inherited Samaria, and were settled in its cities.
၂၄အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည်လည်း ၊ ဗာဗုလုန် မြို့သား၊ ကုသ မြို့သား၊ အာဝ မြို့သား၊ ဟာမတ် မြို့သား၊ သေဖရဝိမ် မြို့သားတို့ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့ ၍ ၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့ ရွာတို့တွင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား ကိုယ်စား ထား သဖြင့် ထိုလူတို့သည် ရှမာရိ မြို့ ရွာတို့ကို သိမ်းယူ ၍ နေရာ ကျကြ၏
25 And it was so at the beginning of their establishment there [that] they feared not the Lord, and the Lord sent lions among them, and they killed some of them.
၂၅နေရာ ကျစ က ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မ ရိုသေ သောကြောင့် ၊ ခြင်္သေ့ တို့ကို စေလွှတ် ၍ အချို့တို့ကို ကိုက် စေ တော်မူ၏
26 And they spoke to the king of the Assyrians, saying, The nations whom you have removed and substituted in the cities of Samaria [for the Israelites], know not the manner of the God of the land: and he has sent the lions against them, and, behold, they are slaying them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
၂၆ထိုကြောင့် အချို့တို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော်ပြောင်းစေ၍၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့ ရွာတို့၌ ထား တော်မူသောလူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့သည် ထိုပြည် စောင့်ဘုရား ၏တရား ကို နား မ လည်သောကြောင့် ၊ ထိုဘုရား သည် ခြင်္သေ့ တို့ကိုစေလွှတ် ၍ နေရာကျ သောသူ တို့ ကိုသတ် ပါသည်ဟု အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား လျှောက် ကြသော်၊”
27 And the king of the Assyrians commanded, saying, Bring some [Israelites] thence, and let them go and dwell there, and they shall teach them the manner of the God of the land.
၂၇အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်က၊ ထို ပြည်မှ သိမ်း ခဲ့သော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် တယောက် ကို ပြန် ပို့ကြ။ သူသည်သွား ၍ ထို ပြည် စောင့်ဘုရား ၏တရား ကို သွန်သင် လျက်နေပါလေ စေဟု မိန့် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ “
28 And they brought one of the priests whom they had removed from Samaria, and he settled in Baethel, and taught them how they should fear the Lord.
၂၈ရှမာရိ မြို့မှ သိမ်း ခဲ့သော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် တယောက် သည် ပြန်၍ ဗေသလ မြို့၌ နေ လျက် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို အဘယ် သို့ရိုသေ ရမည်ကို သွန်သင် လေ၏
29 But the nations made each their own gods, and put them in the house of the high places which the Samaritans [had] made, each nation in the cities in which they lived.
၂၉သို့သော်လည်း ထိုလူမျိုး အသီးအသီးတို့သည် မိမိ တို့ဘုရား ကို လုပ် ၍ နေရာ ကျသောမြို့ ရွာတွင် မြင့် သောအရပ်ပေါ်မှာ ရှမာရိ မြို့သားလုပ် နှင့်သော အိမ် တို့ ၌ တင် ထားကြ၏
30 And the men of Babylon made Socchoth Benith, and the men of Chuth made Ergel, and the men of Haemath made Asimath.
၃၀ဗာဗုလုန် မြို့သား တို့သည် သုကုတ် ဗေနုတ်ဘုရား၊ ကုသ မြို့သား တို့သည် နေရဂါလ ဘုရား၊ ဟာမတ် မြို့သား တို့သည် အရှိမ ဘုရား၊”
31 And the Evites made Eblazer and Tharthac, and the [inhabitant] of Seppharvaim [did evil] when they burnt their sons in the fire to Adramelech and Anemelech, the gods of Seppharvaim.
၃၁အာဝ မြို့သားတို့သည် နိဗဟာဇ ဘုရားနှင့် တာတက် ဘုရားကို လုပ်ကြ ၏။ သေဖရဝိမ် မြို့သားတို့ သည်လည်း သေဖရဝိမ် မြို့စောင့်ဘုရား အာဒြမ္မေလက် နှင့် အာနမ္မေလက် ဘုရားတို့အား သားသမီး ကိုမီးရှို့ ၍ ပူဇော်ကြ၏
32 And they feared the Lord, yet they established their abominations in the houses of the high places which they made in Samaria, each nation in the city in which they lived: and they feared the Lord, and they made for themselves priests of the high places, and sacrificed for themselves in the house of the high places.
၃၂ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုလည်း ရိုသေ ၍ သာမည လူတို့ကို မြင့် သော အရပ်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အရာ၌ ခန့်ထား သဖြင့်၊ သူတို့သည် မြင့် သောအရပ် အိမ် တို့၌ လူ များအဘို့ ယဇ်ပူဇော် ကြ၏
33 And they feared the Lord, and served their gods according to the manner of the nations, whence [their lords] brought them.
၃၃ထိုသို့ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ရိုသေ ကြ၏။ သိမ်းသွား ခြင်းကို ခံရသောလူမျိုး ပြုသကဲ့သို့ မိမိ တို့ဘုရား ကိုလည်း ဝတ်ပြု ကြ၏
34 Until this day they did according to their manner: they fear [the Lord], and they do according to their customs, and according to their manner, and according to the law, and according to the commandment which the Lord commanded the sons of Jacob, whose name he made Israel.
၃၄ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင် ရှေး ထုံးစံ ဓလေ့သို့ လိုက် ကြသည် ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ရိုသေ ရာမ ရောက်။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးခံရသောစီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကိုမစောင့်။ ဣသရေလအမည်ဖြင့် သမုတ်သော ယာကုပ် အမျိုးသားတို့၌ ထာဝရဘုရားထားတော်မူသောပညတ်တရားတို့ကိုမကျင့်ဘဲနေကြ၏
35 And the Lord made a covenant with them, and charged them, saying, You shall not fear other gods, neither shall you worship them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
၃၅ထာဝရဘုရား သည်ထိုအမျိုးသား တို့နှင့် ပဋိညာဉ် ဖွဲ့ ၍ ၊ သင်တို့သည်အခြား တပါးသောဘုရား တို့ကို မ ရိုသေ ၊ ဦး မ ညွှတ်၊ ဝတ် မ ပြု၊ ယဇ် မ ပူဇော်ရ
36 but only to the Lord, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great strength and with a high arm: him shall you fear, and him shall you worship; to him shall you sacrifice.
၃၆သင် တို့ကို ကြီး သောတန်ခိုး ၊ ဆန့် သောလက်ရုံး တော်အားဖြင့် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် မှ ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရား ကိုသာ ရိုသေကိုးကွယ် ၍ ယဇ် ပူဇော်ရမည်
37 You shall observe continually the ordinances, and the judgments, and the law, and the commandments which he wrote for you to do; and you shall not fear other gods.
၃၇သင် တို့အဘို့ ရေးထား တော်မူသော စီရင် ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်ပညတ် တရားတို့ကို အစဉ် အမြဲစောင့်ရှောက် ရမည်။ အခြား တပါးသော ဘုရား တို့ကိုမ ရိုသေ ရ
38 Neither shall you forget the covenant which he made with you: and you shall not fear other gods.
၃၈သင် တို့နှင့် ငါ ဖွဲ့ သော ပဋိညာဉ် ကို မ မေ့လျော့ ရ။ အခြား တပါးသော ဘုရား တို့ကိုမ ရိုသေ ရ
39 But you shall fear the Lord your God, and he shall deliver you from all your enemies.
၃၉သင် တို့၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုသာ ရိုသေ ရမည်။ သို့ပြုလျှင် ရန်သူ အပေါင်း တို့လက် မှ ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူ မည်ဟု မှာထားတော်မူသော်လည်း၊”
40 Neither shall you comply with their practice, which they follow.
၄၀သူတို့သည်နား မ ထောင်ရှေး ထုံးစံ ဓလေ့သို့လိုက် ကြ၏
41 So these nations feared the Lord, and served their graven images: yes, their sons and their son's sons do until this day even as their fathers did.
၄၁ထိုလူ အမျိုးမျိုးကိုယ်တိုင်မှစ၍၊ သား မြေး မြစ်တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုရိုသေ ကြ၏။ ရုပ်တု ဆင်းတုတို့ကိုလည်း ဝတ်ပြု ကြ၏။ မိရိုးဘလာ သို့လိုက် ၍ ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင် ကျင့် နေကြ၏
