Chronicles II 27
1 Joatham [was] twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name [was] Jerusa, daughter of Sadoc.
Yotam dii hene no, na wadi mfirihyia aduonu anum. Odii hene wɔ Yerusalem mfirihyia dunsia. Na ne na a ɔyɛ Sadok babea no din de Yerusa.
2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Ozias did: but he went not into the temple of the Lord. And still the people corrupted themselves.
Ɔyɛɛ nea ɛsɔ Awurade ani sɛnea nʼagya Usia yɛe no. Yotam de, wankɔ Awurade Asɔredan mu sɛnea nʼagya yɛe no. Nanso ɔmanfo no toaa wɔn nnebɔneyɛ so.
3 He built the high gate of the house of the Lord, and he built much in the wall of Opel.
Yotam san yɛɛ Atifi Pon a ɛwɔ Awurade Asɔredan no ho, na ɔsan yɛɛ nnwuma bebree de siesiee ɔfasu a ɛwɔ Ofel bepɔw so no.
4 In the mountain of Juda, and in the woods, [he built] both dwelling-places and towers.
Ɔkyekyeree nkurow wɔ Yuda mmepɔw asase so, sisii aban ne abantenten wɔ mmeaemmeae a wɔadua nnua.
5 He fought against the king of the children of Ammon, and prevailed against him: and the children of Ammon gave him even annually a hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. These the king of the children of Ammon brought to him annually in the first and second and third years.
Yotam tuu Amonfo so sa, dii wɔn so nkonim. Mfe abiɛsa a edi kan no de, ogyee wɔn sonkahiri a ɛyɛ dwetɛ tɔn 3.4, awi susukoraa mpem aduonum ne atoko susukoraa mpem aduonum.
6 Joatham grew strong, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.
Ɔhene Yotam nyaa tumi kɛse, efisɛ ɔde ahwɛyie yɛɛ osetie maa Awurade, ne Nyankopɔn.
7 And the rest of the acts of Joatham, and his war, and his deeds, behold, [they are] written in the book of the kings of Juda and Israel.
Yotam ahenni ho nsɛm nkae a nʼakodi ne ne nneyɛe ahorow ka ho no, wɔakyerɛw agu Israel ne Yuda ahemfo nhoma mu.
Odii ade no, na wadi mfirihyia aduonu anum, na odii hene wɔ Yerusalem mfirihyia dunsia.
9 And Joatham slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Achaz his son reigned in his stead.
Yotam wui no, wosiee no Dawid kurom. Ne babarima Ahas, na odii nʼade sɛ ɔhene.
