Chronicles I 8
1 Now Benjamin begot Bale his firstborn, and Asbel his second [son], Aara the third, Noa the fourth,

Beria und Sema sind die Familienhäupter der Einwohner Ajjalons. Sie haben die Bewohner von Gat vertrieben.

29 And the father of Gabaon lived in Gabaon; and his wife's name was Moacha.
Zu Gibeon wohnten der Vater Gibeons und sein Weib namens Maaka.
30 And her firstborn son was Abdon, and Sur, and Kis, and Baal, and Nadab, and Ner,
Sein erstgeborener Sohn ist Abdon, dann Sur, Kis, Baal, Nadab,
31 and Gedur and his brother, and Zacchur, and Makeloth.
Gedor, Achjo und Zeker.
32 And Makeloth begot Samaa: for these lived in Jerusalem in the presence of their brethren with their brethren.
Miklot hat Sima gezeugt. Auch sie wohnten in Jerusalem bei ihren Brüdern, diesen gegenüber.
33 And Ner begot Kis, and Kis begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Melchisue, and Aminadab, and Asabal.

Jonatans Sohn ist Meribbaal, und Meribbaal zeugte Mika.
35 And the sons of Micha; Phithon, and Melach, and Tharach, and Achaz.
Mikas Söhne sind Piton, Melek, Tare und Achaz.
36 And Achaz begot Jada, and Jada begot Salaemath, and Asmoth, and Zambri; and Zambri begot Maesa;
Achaz zeugte Joadda und Joadda den Alemet, Azmavet und Zimri und Zimri den Mosa.
37 and Maesa begot Baana: Rhaphaea [was] his son, Elasa his son, Esel his son.
Mosa zeugte den Bina. Dessen Sohn ist Rapha, dessen Sohn Elasa und dessen Sohn Asel.
38 And Esel [had] six sons, and these [were] their name; Ezricam his firstborn, and Ismael, and Saraia, and Abdia, and Anan, and Asa: all these [were] the sons of Esel.
Asel hatte sechs Söhne. Dies sind ihre Namen: Azrikam, sein Erstgeborener, Ismael und Searja, Obadja und Chanan. Alle diese waren Söhne Asels.
39 And the sons of Asel his brother; Aelam his firstborn, and Jas the second, and Eliphalet the third.
Seines Bruders Esek Söhne sind sein Erstgeborener Ulam, der zweite Jëus und der dritte Eliphelet.
40 And the sons of Aelam were mighty men, bending the bow, and multiplying sons and grandsons, a hundred [and] fifty. All these [were] of the sons of Benjamin.
Ulams Söhne waren kriegstüchtige Männer, die den Bogen spannen konnten. Sie hatten auch zahlreiche Söhne und Enkel, 150. Alle diese gehören zu den Söhnen Benjamins.
