Psalms 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
၁တိုင်းနိုင်ငံတို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆူပူပုန်ကန်ရန် ကြံစည်ကြသနည်း။ လူတို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်အချည်းနှီး လျှို့ဝှက်ကြံစည်ကြသနည်း။
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
၂ထိုသူတို့၏ဘုရင်တို့သည်ပုန်ကန်ကြ၏။ သူတို့၏ဘုရင်တို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့် ကိုယ်တော်ဘိသိက်ပေးတော်မူသောဘုရင်အား ပုန်ကန်ရန်လျှို့ဝှက်တိုင်ပင်ကြ၏။
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
၃သူတို့က``ငါတို့သည်သူတို့စိုးမိုးမှုမှ လွတ်မြောက်အောင်ဆောင်ရွက်ကြကုန်အံ့။ သူတို့၏အချုပ်အနှောင်ကိုပယ်ရှားကြ ကုန်အံ့'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
၄ကောင်းကင်ဘုံရှိပလ္လင်တော်ပေါ်မှာထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ပြုံးရယ်တော်မူလျက် ထိုသူတို့၏အကြံအစည်ကိုပြက်ရယ်ပြု တော်မူ၏။
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
၅ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်သည်အမျက်တော်ထွက် လျက် သူတို့အားသတိပေးတော်မူသဖြင့် သူတို့သည်အမျက်တော်အရှိန်ကြောင့် ကြောက်လန့်တုန်လှုပ်ကြကုန်၏။
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
၆ကိုယ်တော်က``သန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်သော ဇိအုန်တောင် ပေါ်တွင် ငါရွေးချယ်ထားသောရှင်ဘုရင်ကိုငါကိုယ်တိုင် တင်မြှောက်ပြီ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
၇မင်းကြီးက``ထာဝရဘုရား၏ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကို ငါကြေငြာမည်။ ကိုယ်တော်ကငါ့အား`သင်သည်ငါ၏သား ဖြစ်၏။ ယနေ့ပင်လျှင်ငါသည်သင်၏အဖဖြစ်လာ ပြီ။
8 Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
၈တောင်းလော့။ လူမျိုးတကာတို့ကိုသင့်အား ငါပေးမည်။ ကမ္ဘာမြေပြင်တစ်ခုလုံးကိုသင်ပိုင်ဆိုင်ရ လိမ့်မည်။
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
၉သင်သည်လူမျိုးတကာတို့ကိုသံလှံတံဖြင့် အုပ်စိုးလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့အားမြေအိုးကိုခွဲသကဲ့သို့ အစိတ်စိတ်အမြွှာမြွှာဖြစ်စေလိမ့်မည်' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူပါ၏'' ဟူ၍ဆို၏။
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
၁၀အချင်းဘုရင်တို့၊ပညာသတိရှိကြလော့။ အချင်းမင်းအပေါင်းတို့၊သတိမူကြလော့။
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
၁၁သင်တို့သည်ကြောက်ရွံ့ရိုသေသောစိတ်နှင့် ထာဝရဘုရား၏အမှုတော်ကိုထမ်းရွက်ကြလော့။
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
၁၂တုန်လှုပ်လျက်ရှေ့တော်တွင်ဦးညွှတ်ပျပ်ဝပ်ကြလော့။ ယင်းသို့မပြုပါမူကိုယ်တော်သည် အမျက်တော်ထွက်တော်မူသဖြင့် သင်တို့သည်မုချသေကြေပျက်စီးကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကိုယ်တော်ထံတော်သို့ချဉ်းကပ်ခိုလှုံသူ အပေါင်းတို့သည်မင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။
