Psalms 12

1 To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

၁အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကယ်တင်တော်မူပါ။ သူတော် ကောင်းမျိုးသည် ပြတ်၍ သစ္စာရှိသောလူမျိုးသည် လူသားတို့တွင် ကွယ်ပျောက်ပါ၏။

2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: [with] flattering lips [and] with a double heart do they speak.

၂အိမ်နီးချင်းတို့သည် တဦးကိုတဦး မုသာသုံး၍ ချော့မော့သော နှုတ်ခမ်း၊ နှစ်ခွသော စိတ်နှင့်ပြောတတ် ကြပါ၏။

3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, [and] the tongue that speaketh proud things:

၃ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်လျှာအားဖြင့် နိုင်မည်။

4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips [are] our own: who [is] lord over us?

၄ကိုယ်နှုတ်ခမ်းသည် ကိုယ်အမှုကို စောင့်လိမ့် မည်။ ငါတို့၏သခင်ကား အဘယ်သူနည်းဟု ပြောဆို သော သူတို့၏ ချော့မော့သော နှုတ်ခမ်းနှင့် ဝါကြွားသော လျှာရှိသမျှတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဖြတ်တော်မူမည်။

5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set [him] in safety [from him that] puffeth at him.

၅ဆင်းရဲသောသူသည် ခံရသောညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း၊ ငတ်မွတ်သောသူ၏ ငိုကြွေးခြင်းကြောင့် ယခုငါထမည်။ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကိုခံရသော သူအား ချမ်းသာပေးမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

6 The words of the LORD [are] pure words: [as] silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

၆ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူချက်တို့သည် သန့်ရှင်း ခြင်းရှိ၍ မြေနှင့် ကင်းစင်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ မိုက်၌ခုနစ်ကြိမ် စစ်သော ငွေကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

၇အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထိုသူတို့ကို ဤလူမျိုးမှ အစဉ်ကာကွယ်စောင့်မတော်မူမည်။

8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

၈ဆိုးယုတ်သောသူတို့သည် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သည် ကာလ၊ မတရားသောသူတို့သည် အရပ်ရပ် လှည့်လည်ရသော အခွင့်ရှိကြ၏။
