< Mark 7 >

1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
Afarisi ndi ena mwa aphunzitsi amalamulo omwe anachokera ku Yerusalemu anasonkhana momuzungulira Yesu ndipo
2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
iwo anaona ophunzira ake akudya chakudya ndi mʼmanja mwakuda kapena kuti mʼmanja mosasamba.
3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash [their] hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
(Afarisi ndi Ayuda onse sadya pokhapokha atasamba mʼmanja, kusunga mwambo wa makolo awo.
4 And [when they come] from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, [as] the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
Akabwera kuchokera ku msika samadya pokhapokha atasamba. Ndipo amasunga miyambo ina yambiri monga, kutsuka zikho, mitsuko ndi maketulo).
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
Choncho Afarisi ndi aphunzitsi amalamulo anafunsa Yesu kuti, “Nʼchifukwa chiyani ophunzira anu satsatira mwambo wa makolo, mʼmalo mwake amangodya chakudya ndi mʼmanja mwakuda?”
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is far from me.
Iye anayankha kuti, “Yesaya ananena zoona pamene ananenera za inu achiphamaso; monga kunalembedwa kuti: “Anthu awa amandilemekeza Ine ndi milomo yawo, koma mitima yawo ili kutali ndi Ine.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.
Amandilambira Ine kwachabe; ndi kuphunzitsa malamulo ndi malangizo a anthu.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Mwasiya malamulo a Mulungu ndipo mwagwiritsitsa miyambo ya anthu.”
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Ndipo anawawuzanso kuti, “Inu muli ndi njira yabwino yokankhira kumbali malamulo a Mulungu kuti mukatsatire miyambo yanuyo!
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
Pakuti Mose anati, ‘Lemekeza abambo ako ndi amayi ako,’ ndipo, ‘aliyense amene atemberera abambo ake kapena amayi ake ayenera kuphedwa.’
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, [It is] Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; [he shall be free].
Koma inu mumati, ngati munthu anena kwa abambo ake kapena amayi ake kuti, ‘Thandizo lililonse mukanayenera kulandira kuchokera kwa ine ndi Korobani’ (kutanthauza kuti, mphatso yoperekedwa kwa Mulungu),
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
pamenepo inu simumalola kuti achitire kanthu kalikonse abambo kapena amayi ake.
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Potero mumachepetsa mawu a Mulungu kukhala wopanda mphamvu ndi miyambo yanu imene mumapatsirana. Ndipo mumachita zinthu zina zambiri monga zimenezi.”
14 And when he had called all the people [unto him], he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one [of you], and understand:
Yesu anayitananso gulu la anthu ndipo anati, “Tandimverani nonsenu, ndipo zindikirani izi.
15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
Palibe kanthu kunja kwa munthu kamene kakalowa mwa iye kangamusandutse wodetsedwa. Koma zimene zituluka mwa munthu ndizo zimupanga kukhala wodetsedwa.”
16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
(Ngati wina ali ndi makutu akumva amve).
17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
Atalisiya gulu la anthu ndi kulowa mʼnyumba, ophunzira ake anamufunsa za fanizoli
18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, [it] cannot defile him;
Iye anawafunsa kuti, “Kodi nanunso simumvetsetsa? Kodi simukuona kuti palibe kanthu kamene kakalowa mwa munthu kochokera kunja kakhoza kumudetsa?
19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Pakuti sikalowa mu mtima wake koma mʼmimba mwake, ndipo kenaka kamatuluka kunja.” (Ndi mawu amenewa, Yesu anayeretsa zakudya zonse).
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
Anapitiriza kuti, “Chimene chichokera mwa munthu ndi chomwe chimamudetsa.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Pakuti kuchokera mʼkati mwa mitima ya anthu, mumatuluka maganizo oyipa, chiwerewere, kuba, kupha, chigololo,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
dyera, nkhwidzi, chinyengo, machitidwe onyansa, kaduka, chipongwe, kudzikuza ndi kupusa.
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Zoyipa zonsezi zimatuluka mʼkati ndipo zimadetsa munthu.”
24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know [it]: but he could not be hid.
Yesu anachoka kumalo amenewo napita ku madera a Turo. Iye analowa mʼnyumba ndipo sanafune wina kuti adziwe zimenezi; komabe sanathe kudzibisa.
25 For a [certain] woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
Kunena zoona, amayi amene kamwana kawo kakakazi kanali kogwidwa ndi mzimu woyipa, atangomva za Iye, anabwera nagwada pa mapazi ake.
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
Mayiyu anali Mhelene, wobadwira ku Fonisia wa ku Siriya. Anamupempha Yesu kuti atulutse chiwanda mwa mwana wake.
27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast [it] unto the dogs.
Iye anamuwuza kuti, “Choyamba asiye ana adye zimene akuzifuna, pakuti si kwabwino kutenga buledi wa ana ndi kuponyera agalu awo.”
28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
Mayiyo anayankha kuti, “Inde Ambuye, koma ngakhale agalu amadya zomwe zimagwa pansi kuchokera pa tebulo la ana.”
29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
Ndipo Iye anamuwuza kuti, “Chifukwa cha yankholi, ukhoza kupita; chiwanda chachoka mwa mwana wako wamkazi.”
30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
Atapita kwawo anakapeza mwana wake aligone pa bedi, chiwanda chitatuluka.
31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
Ndipo Yesu anachoka ku dera la Turo nadutsa pakati pa Sidoni, kutsikira ku nyanja ya Galileya kupita ku dera la Dekapoli.
32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
Kumeneko anthu ena anabweretsa kwa Iye munthu amene anali wosamva ndi wosayankhula, ndipo anamupempha kuti asanjike dzanja pa iye.
33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
Atamutengera iye pambali, patali ndi gulu la anthu, Yesu analowetsa zala zake mʼmakutu a munthuyo. Kenaka anapaka malovu pachala ndi kukhudza lilime la munthuyo.
34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
Iye anayangʼana kumwamba ndipo ndi mawu otsitsa moyo, anati kwa iye, “Efataa!” (Kutanthauza kuti, “Tsekuka!”)
35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
Atachita izi, makutu a munthuyo anatsekuka komanso lilime lake linamasuka ndipo anayamba kuyankhula momveka bwino.
36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published [it];
Yesu anawalamula kuti asawuze wina aliyense. Koma pamene anapitiriza kuwaletsa, iwo anapitiriza kuyankhula za izi.
37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
Anthu anadabwa kwambiri. Iwo anati, “Wachita zonse bwino, ngakhale Iyenso atsekula makutu a osamva ndi osayankhula kuti ayankhule.”
