Leviticus 18
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
၁တစ်ဖန်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မောရှေမှတစ် ဆင့်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား``ငါသည် သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်၏။-
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.
၂
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
၃သင်တို့နေထိုင်ခဲ့ဖူးသောအီဂျစ်ပြည်ရှိ လူ တို့၏အလေ့အကျင့်များကိုသော်လည်းကောင်း၊ သင်တို့အားငါယခုပို့ဆောင်နေထိုင်စေမည့် ခါနာန်ပြည်ရှိလူတို့၏အလေ့အကျင့်များ ကိုသော်လည်းကောင်းမကျင့်ကြနှင့်။-
4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I [am] the LORD your God.
၄ငါ၏ပညတ်များကိုစောင့်ထိန်း၍ ငါမိန့်မှာ သမျှကိုလိုက်လျှောက်လော့။ ငါသည်သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။-
5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I [am] the LORD.
၅ငါ၏ပညတ်များနှင့်ပြဋ္ဌာန်းချက်များကို လိုက်လျှောက်လော့။ သို့ပြုလျှင်သင်တို့သည် အသက်ချမ်းသာရာရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover [their] nakedness: I [am] the LORD.
၆ထာဝရဘုရားသည်အောက်ပါပြဋ္ဌာန်းချက် များကို ချမှတ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။ သင်တို့သည် ဆွေမျိုးနီးစပ်သူနှင့် ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်း မပြုရ။-
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she [is] thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
၇သင်၏မိခင်နှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်းအား ဖြင့် ဖခင်ကိုအရှက်မခွဲရ။ သင်၏မိခင် အရင်းကိုအရှက်မခွဲရ။-
8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it [is] thy father’s nakedness.
၈ဖခင်၏မယားငယ်များနှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက် ခြင်းမပြုရ။-
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, [whether she be] born at home, or born abroad, [even] their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
၉နှမအရင်းနှင့်သော်လည်းကောင်း၊ တစ်အိမ် တည်းသို့မဟုတ် အိမ်ခွဲ၍ကြီးပြင်းလာသော ဖအေပါ၊ မအေပါသမီးနှင့်သော်လည်း ကောင်း ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်းမပြုရ။-
10 The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, [even] their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs [is] thine own nakedness.
၁၀သင်၏မြေးမိန်းမနှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်း မပြုရ။ သင့်ကိုယ်ကိုသင်အရှက်ခွဲရာ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။-
11 The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she [is] thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
၁၁ဖအေတူမအေကွဲမောင်နှမနှင့် ကာမစပ် ယှက်ခြင်းမပြုရ။ သူသည်လည်းသင်၏နှမ ပင်ဖြစ်သည်။-
12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she [is] thy father’s near kinswoman.
၁၂ဖခင်၏နှမသို့မဟုတ် မိခင်၏ညီမဖြစ်သူ သင်၏အဒေါ်နှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်းမပြု ရ။-
13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she [is] thy mother’s near kinswoman.
၁၃
14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she [is] thine aunt.
၁၄ဦးလေး၏ဇနီးနှင့် ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်းမ ပြုရ။ သူသည်လည်းသင်၏အဒေါ်ပင်ဖြစ်၏။-
15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she [is] thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
၁၅သင်၏ချွေးမနှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်း မပြုရ။-
16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it [is] thy brother’s nakedness.
၁၆သင့်ညီအစ်ကို၏ဇနီးနှင့်သော်လည်းကောင်း ကာမယှက်စပ်ခြင်းမပြုရ။-
17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; [for] they [are] her near kinswomen: it [is] wickedness.
၁၇သင်နှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက်ဖူးသောမိန်းမ၏သမီး နှင့်ဖြစ်စေ၊ သူ၏မြေးမိန်းမနှင့်ဖြစ်စေကာမ စပ်ယှက်ခြင်းမပြုရ။ ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင်သင်တို့ သည်သင်နှင့်သွေးနီးစပ်သူများဖြစ်နိုင်သဖြင့် သင်သည်သွေးနီးစပ်သူနှင့်ဖောက်ပြန်ခြင်း အပြစ်ကိုကူးလွန်လိမ့်မည်။-
18 Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex [her], to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life [time].
၁၈သင်၏ဇနီးအသက်ရှင်နေသမျှကာလ ပတ်လုံး သင်၏ခယ်မကိုမယားငယ်အဖြစ် မသိမ်းပိုက်ရ။
19 Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
၁၉ရာသီသွေးပေါ်သောမိန်းမသည်ဘာသာရေး ထုံးနည်းအရမသန့်စင်သောကြောင့် ရာသီသွေး ပေါ်ချိန်အတွင်းသူနှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်း မပြုရ။-
20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.
၂၀သူတစ်ပါး၏မယားနှင့်ကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်း မပြုရ။ ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင်သင်သည်ဘာသာ ရေးထုံးနည်းအရမသန့်စင်ချေ။-
21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through [the fire] to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I [am] the LORD.
၂၁သင်၏သားသမီးတို့ကိုမောလုတ်ဘုရားအား မီးရှို့ပူဇော်ရန်မအပ်နှင့်။ ထိုသို့ပြုခြင်းဖြင့် သင်၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏နာမ တော်ကိုမရှုတ်ချရ။-
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination.
၂၂ယောကျာ်းခြင်းကာမစပ်ယှက်ခြင်းမပြုရ။ ဘုရားသခင်သည်ထိုအကျင့်ကိုစက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာတော်မူ၏။-
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it [is] confusion.
၂၃ယောကျာ်းဖြစ်စေမိန်းမဖြစ်စေ၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်နှင့်ကာမ စပ်ယှက်ခြင်းမပြုရ။ ထိုအကျင့်သည်ဋ္ဌမ္မတာ ကိုဆန့်ကျင်သဖြင့် ဘာသာတရားထုံးနည်း အရသင့်ကိုညစ်ညမ်းစေသည်။
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
၂၄သင်တို့သည်ထိုအကျင့်များကိုကျင့်၍ ကိုယ် ကိုမညစ်ညမ်းစေကြနှင့်။ သင်တို့ဝင်ရောက်နေ ထိုင်မည်ဖြစ်သောပြည်မှငါနှင်ထုတ်မည့်လူမျိုး တို့သည် ထိုသို့သောအကျင့်များကိုပြုကျင့် ၍မိမိတို့ကိုယ်ကိုညစ်ညမ်းစေကြ၏။-
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
၂၅သူတို့၏အလေ့အကျင့်များသည် သူတို့နေ ထိုင်ရာပြည်ကိုညစ်ညမ်းစေသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ထိုပြည်ကိုဒဏ်ခတ် သဖြင့်ပြည်သားတို့သည် ထိုပြည်မှနှင် ထုတ်ခြင်းခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။-
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit [any] of these abominations; [neither] any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
၂၆သူတို့သည်ထိုစက်ဆုပ်ဖွယ်သောအကျင့်တို့ ကိုပြုကျင့်၍ တိုင်းပြည်ကိုညစ်ညမ်းစေကြ ၏။ သင်တို့မူကားထိုအကျင့်များကိုမပြု ကျင့်ရ။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားဖြစ်စေ၊ သင် တို့နှင့်အတူနေထိုင်သောလူမျိုးခြားသား ဖြစ်စေ၊ သင်တို့အားလုံးသည်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ပညတ်တော်များနှင့် ပြဋ္ဌာန်းချက်များ ကိုစောင့်ထိန်းရကြမည်။-
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which [were] before you, and the land is defiled; )
၂၇
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that [were] before you.
၂၈သို့ပြုလျှင်သင်တို့အလျင်နေထိုင်ခဲ့သော သူများကဲ့သို့ သင်တို့သည်ထိုပြည်မှနှင် ထုတ်ခြင်းခံရမည်မဟုတ်။-
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit [them] shall be cut off from among their people.
၂၉ထိုသို့သောစက်ဆုပ်ဖွယ်ရာအကျင့်ကိုပြု ကျင့်သူသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏လူမျိုးတော် မှပယ်ထုတ်ခြင်းခံရမည်။
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that [ye] commit not [any one] of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I [am] the LORD your God.
၃၀ထာဝရဘုရားက``ငါ၏ပညတ်များကို စောင့်ထိန်းလော့။ သင်တို့အလျင်ထိုပြည်၌ နေထိုင်ခဲ့သော သူတို့၏အလေ့အကျင့်များ ကိုအတုမခိုးနှင့်။ သင်တို့သည်ထိုအကျင့် များကိုကျင့်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကိုယ်ကိုမညစ် ညမ်းစေကြနှင့်။ ငါသည်သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၏'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
