< Lamentations 5 >
1 Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
၁အို ထာဝရဘုရားအဘယ်သို့သော အဖြစ်အပျက်များနှင့် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့ကြုံတွေ့ရကြသည်ကို အောက်မေ့သတိရတော်မူပါ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားကြည့်တော်မူပါ၏။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အသရေပျက်မှုကို ရှုမြင်တော်မူပါ။
2 Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
၂ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏ပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာများသည် သူစိမ်းတစ်ရံဆံတို့၏လက်သို့ရောက်ရှိနေပါပြီ။ လူမျိုးခြားများသည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏အိမ်များတွင် နေထိုင်လျက်ရှိကြပါ၏။
3 We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
၃ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏ဖခင်များသည်ရန်သူ၏ သတ်ဖြတ်မှုကိုခံရကြလျက် မိခင်များမှာမုဆိုးမများ ဖြစ်ရကြပါ၏။
4 We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.
၄ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်မိမိတို့၏သောက်ရေအတွက် အဖိုးငွေပေးရကြပါ၏။ ထင်းကိုလည်းဝယ်ယူရကြပါ၏။
5 Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
၅ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်မြည်းများ၊ ကုလားအုတ် များကဲ့သို့ နောက်မှအပြင်းမောင်းနှင်ခြင်းခံနေရကြပါ၏။ မောပန်းပါသော်လည်းနားနေခွင့်မရကြပါ။
6 We have given the hand [to] the Egyptians, [and to] the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
၆ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်မိမိတို့အသက်ရှင်ရေးအတွက် အစားအစာအလုံအလောက်ရရှိနိုင်ရန် အာရှုရိပြည်နှင့်အီဂျစ်ပြည်သို့သွား၍ တောင်းရမ်းရကြပါ၏။
7 Our fathers have sinned, [and are] not; and we have borne their iniquities.
၇ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏ဘိုးဘေးများသည်အပြစ် ကူးပြီးနောက်သေလွန်သွားကြသဖြင့် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်သူတို့၏အပြစ်ဝန်ကို ထမ်းရကြပါ၏။
8 Servants have ruled over us: [there is] none that doth deliver [us] out of their hand.
၈ကျွန်များနှင့်မခြားနားသူတို့၏အုပ်စိုး ခြင်းကို ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့ခံကြရသော်လည်း အဘယ်သူမျှကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားထိုသူတို့၏ လက်မှမကယ်နိုင်ပါ။
9 We gat our bread with [the peril of] our lives because of the sword of the wilderness.
၉ကျေးလက်များတွင်လူသတ်သမားတို့ လှည့်လည်သွားလာလျက်နေသဖြင့် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်အသက်စွန့်၍ အစားအစာရှာဖွေရကြပါ၏။
10 Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.
၁၀ဆာလောင်မွတ်သိပ်မှုကြောင့်အဖျားတက်သဖြင့် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏အသားအရေသည် မုန့်ဖိုတမျှပူလောင်ပါ၏။
11 They ravished the women in Zion, [and] the maids in the cities of Judah.
၁၁ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏ဇနီးများသည် ဇိအုန်တောင်ပေါ်၌ပင်လျှင် မုဒိမ်းအကျင့်ခံရကြပါ၏။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏သမီးပျိုများသည် ယုဒကျေးရွာမှန်သမျှ၌ အနိုင်အထက်မတော်မတရားပြုကျင့်မှုကို ခံရကြပါ၏။
12 Princes are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured.
၁၂ရန်သူများသည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏ ခေါင်းဆောင်များအား ဖမ်းဆီး၍စက်တိုင်တင်ကြပါ၏။ သူတို့သည်အသက်ကြီးသူများကိုလည်း ရိုသေလေးစားမှုမပြုကြပါ။
13 They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.
၁၃လူငယ်လူရွယ်များသည်ကျေးကျွန်သဖွယ် စပါးကြိတ်ရကြပါ၏။ လူငယ်တို့သည်လည်းလေးလံသော ထင်းစည်းများကိုယိမ်းယိုင်ကာသယ်ပို့ရ ကြပါ၏။
14 The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick.
၁၄အသက်ကြီးသူတို့သည်မြို့တံခါးအနီးတွင် မထိုင်ကြတော့ပါ။ လူငယ်လူရွယ်များသည်လည်းသီဆိုတီးမှုတ် မှုကို မပြုကြတော့ပါ။
15 The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
၁၅ဝမ်းမြောက်ရွှင်လန်းမှုသည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့ ၏ဘဝမှ ကွယ်ပျောက်သွားပါပြီ။ ကခုန်မှုများသည်ဝမ်းနည်းကြေကွဲမှုများသို့ ပြောင်းလဲသွားပါပြီ။
16 The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
၁၆ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့တွင်ဂုဏ်ယူဝါကြွားစရာ တစ်ခုမျှမကျန်ရှိတော့ပါ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်အပြစ်ကူးကြသဖြင့် အမင်္ဂလာရှိကြပါ၏။
17 For this our heart is faint; for these [things] our eyes are dim.
၁၇ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့သည်စိတ်ပျက်၍ မျက်ရည်များဝိုင်းလျက်နေသဖြင့် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့၏မျက်စိများသည် ကြည့်၍မမြင်နိုင်တော့ပါ။
18 Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
၁၈ဇိအုန်တောင်တော်သည်လူသူဆိတ်ညံသဖြင့် ခွေးအတို့ကျက်စားရာဖြစ်၍နေပါသည်။
19 Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.
၁၉သို့ရာတွင် အို ထာဝရဘုရားကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည် ထာဝစဉ်ဘုရင်ဖြစ်တော်မူပါ၏။ ရာဇပလ္လင်တော်သည်နိစ္စထာဝရတည် ပါလိမ့်မည်။
20 Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, [and] forsake us so long time?
၂၀ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားအစဉ်အမြဲမေ့လျော့၍ နေတော်မူပါသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဤမျှကြာစွာကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့ကို စွန့်ပစ်၍ထားတော်မူပါသနည်း။
21 Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
၂၁အို ထာဝရဘုရားအထံတော်သို့ ပြန်လာခွင့်ပြုတော်မူပါ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားပြန်လာစေတော်မူပါ။ ရှေးကာလမှာကဲ့သို့ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အား ဘုန်းကြီးစေတော်မူပါ။
22 But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.
၂၂သို့တည်းမဟုတ်ကိုယ်တော်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုး တို့အား ထာဝစဉ်စွန့်ပစ်ထားတော်မူပြီလော။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏အမျက်တော်ငြိမ်းမည့် ကာလမရှိတော့ပါတကား။ ပရောဖက်ယေရမိမြည်တမ်းသော စကားပြီး၏။
