Job 29
1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
၁ယောဘသည် လင်္ကာစကားကို ဆက်၍မြွက်ဆို သည်ကား၊
2 Oh that I were as [in] months past, as [in] the days [when] God preserved me;
၂ငါသည် လွန်လေပြီသောနှစ်၊လ၊ ဘုရားသခင် စောင့်မတော်မူသော နေ့ရက်၌ဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့ တဖန်ဖြစ် ပါစေ။
3 When his candle shined upon my head, [and when] by his light I walked [through] darkness;
၃ထိုအခါ ဘုရားသခင်၏မီးခွက်သည် ငါ့ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ ထွန်းလင်းသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ထိုအလင်းကို ငါအမှီပြု လျက်၊ မိုက်သောအရပ်၌ ရှောက်သွားနိုင်၏။
4 As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God [was] upon my tabernacle;
၄ငါ့အသက်ပျိုသောကာလ၊ ငါ့အိမ်၌ဘုရားသခင် နှင့် မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့ရသောအခွင့်ရှိသောကာလ၌၊ ငါဖြစ် သကဲ့သို့ တဖန်ဖြစ်ပါစေ။
5 When the Almighty [was] yet with me, [when] my children [were] about me;
၅ထိုအခါ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်သည် ငါ့ဘက်၌ရှိတော်မူ၏။ ငါ့သားသမီးတို့သည်လည်း ငါ့ကိုဝိုင်းလျက် နေကြ၏။
6 When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;
၆ထိုအခါငါသွားသောလမ်း၌ နို့ရည်စီးလေ၏။ ကျောက်ခဲသည်လည်း ငါ့အဘို့ဆီကိုသွန်းလောင်းလေ၏။
7 When I went out to the gate through the city, [when] I prepared my seat in the street!
၇ငါသည်မြို့အလယ်၌ ရှောက်၍၊ မြို့တံခါးသို့ သွားလျက်၊ လမ်း၌ ထိုင်ရာကို ပြင်ဆင်လျက်နေစဉ်တွင်၊
8 The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, [and] stood up.
၈လူပျိုတို့သည် ငါ့ကိုမြင်သဖြင့် ပုန်းရှောင်၍ နေကြ၏။ အသက်ကြီးသူတို့သည်လည်းထ၍ မတ်တတ် နေကြ၏။
9 The princes refrained talking, and laid [their] hand on their mouth.
၉မင်းသားတို့သည် စကားမပြောဘဲနေ၍၊ မိမိတို့ နှုတ်ကို လက်နှင့် ပိတ်ကြ၏။
10 The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.
၁၀မှူးမတ်တို့သည်လည်း တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေ၍၊ သူတို့လျှာသည် အာခေါင်၌ကပ်လေ၏။
11 When the ear heard [me], then it blessed me; and when the eye saw [me], it gave witness to me:
၁၁လူတို့သည် ငါ့စကားသံကိုကြားသောအခါ ကောင်းကြီးပေးကြ၏။ ငါ့ကိုမြင်သောအခါ ချီးမွမ်းကြ၏။
12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and [him that had] none to help him.
၁၂အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည်ဆင်းရဲသောသူ၊ မိဘမရှိသောသူ၊ ကိုးကွယ်ရာမရသော သူအော်ဟစ်သော အခါ ကယ်တင်တတ်၏။
13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
၁၃ပျက်လုသောသူကောင်းကြီးပေးခြင်းကို ငါခံရ၏။ မုတ်ဆိုးမစိတ်နှလုံးကို ရွှင်လန်းစေ၏။
14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment [was] as a robe and a diadem.
၁၄ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းပါရမီကို အဝတ်လုပ်၍ ငါဝတ် ဆင်၏။ တရားသည် ငါ့ဝတ်လုံငါ့ပေါင်းဖြစ်၏။
15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet [was] I to the lame.
၁၅မျက်စိကန်းသော သူတို့အားငါသည် မျက်စိ ဖြစ်၏။ ခြေဆွံ့သော သူတို့အားခြေဖြစ်၏။
16 I [was] a father to the poor: and the cause [which] I knew not I searched out.
၁၆ဆင်းရဲသောသူတို့၏ အဘဖြစ်၏။ အသိ အကျွမ်းမရှိသော သူတို့၏အမှုကို ငါနားထောင်၏။
17 And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.
၁၇မတရားသောသူ၏အစွယ်တို့ကို ငါချိုး၍၊ သူ လုယူကိုက်စားသော အရာကိုနှုတ်၏။
18 Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply [my] days as the sand.
၁၈ငါသည် ကိုယ်အသိုက်၌ သေရသောအခွင့် ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ့အသက်ရှင်သော နေ့ရက်တို့သည် သဲလုံး နှင့်အမျှ များပြားလိမ့်မည်ဟု အောက်မေ့၏။
19 My root [was] spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.
၁၉ငါ့အမြစ်သည် ရေနားမှာ ပြန့်ပွါး၏။ ဆီးနှင်း သည် တညဉ့်လုံး ငါ့အခက်အလက်၌ကျ၏။
20 My glory [was] fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.
၂၀ငါ့ဘုန်းသည် အစဉ်ပွင့်လန်းလျက်၊ ငါလေးသည် လည်း ငါ့လက်၌ အားဖြည့်လျက်ရှိ၏။
21 Unto me [men] gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.
၂၁သူတပါးတို့သည် ငါ့စကားကို နားထောင်၍၊ ငါပေးသောအကြံကို ငံ့လင့်လျက် တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေကြ၏။
22 After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them.
၂၂ငါပြောပြီးသည် နောက်သူတို့သည် ပြန်၍ မပြော။ ငါ့စကားသည် သူတို့အပေါ်မှာ ရေစက်ကဲ့သို့ ကျ၏။
23 And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide [as] for the latter rain.
၂၃မိုဃ်းရေကိုငံ့လင့်သကဲ့သို့ငါ့ကိုငံ့လင့်လျက်၊ ဗနာက်ကျသော မိုဃ်းရေကို ခံချင်သကဲ့သို့၊ သူတို့သည် ပစပ်ကို ကျယ်ကျယ်ဖွင့်လျက်နေကြ၏။
24 [If] I laughed on them, they believed [it] not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down.
၂၄ငါသည် ပြုံးလျက်သူတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုသောအခါ၊ သူတို့သည် မယုံနိုင်ကြ။ ငါ့မျက်နှာ၏အလင်းကိုလည်း မပျောက်စေကြ။
25 I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one [that] comforteth the mourners.
၂၅ငါသည် သူတို့လမ်းကိုပဲ့ပြင်၍ အမြတ်ဆုံးသော နေရာ၌ ထိုင်၏။ ဗိုလ်မြေအလုံးအရင်းနှင့်တကွ ရှင်ဘုရင် ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ညှိုးငယ်သော သူတို့ကို နှစ်သိမ့်စေသော သူကဲ့သို့၎င်း ငါဖြစ်၏။
