Isaiah 16
1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
೧ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡತಕ್ಕ ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಕಡೆಯಿರುವ ಸೆಲದಿಂದ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ನಗರದ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರಿ.
2 For it shall be, [that], as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, [so] the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
೨ಅರ್ನೋನ್ ನದಿಯ ಹಾಯ್ಗಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಜನರು ಅಲೆಯುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ, ಗೂಡಿನಿಂದ ಚದುರಿರುವ ಮರಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಆಗುವರು.
3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
೩ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ, ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿರಿ; ನಡು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆರಳು ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಕತ್ತಲಿನಂತೆ ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೀನದಲಿತರನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸು, ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಜನರ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಬಯಲುಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ.
4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
೪ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಲಸೆಹೋದವರು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಲಿ; ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು ಬಲತ್ಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಶವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿರಿ. ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮುಲವಾಗುವರು, ನಾಶನವು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವುದು. ಪೀಡಿಸುವವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲರಾಗುವರು.
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
೫ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗುವುದು. ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವವನೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವನೂ, ನೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತ್ವರೆಪಡುವವನೂ ದಾವೀದನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಆ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸತ್ಯಪರನಾಗಿ ನೀತಿನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; [he is] very proud: [even] of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: [but] his lies [shall] not [be] so.
೬ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ಅಹಂಕಾರವನ್ನು, ಗರ್ವವನ್ನು, ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು, ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಅವರು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೀ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೇ.
7 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kir-hareseth shall ye mourn; surely [they are] stricken.
೭ಆದಕಾರಣ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮೋವಾಬೇ ಗೋಳಾಡುವುದು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸುವನು. ನೀವು ಕೀರ್ ಹರೆಷೆಥಿನ ಜನರ ದೀಪದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯ ಕಡುಬು ಹಾಳಾಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ನರಳುವಿರಿ.
8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, [and] the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come [even] unto Jazer, they wandered [through] the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
೮ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಭೂಮಿಯು, ಸಿಬ್ಮದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಯಜ್ಜೇರಿನವರೆಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿ, ಸಮುದ್ರದಾಚೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವಷ್ಟು ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಾಖೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ರಾಜ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಒಡೆಯರನ್ನು ತುಳಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
೯ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಸಿಬ್ಮದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯಜ್ಜೇರಿನವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಅಳುವೆನು. ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾಲೇ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬಿದ್ದು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in [their] presses; I have made [their vintage] shouting to cease.
೧೦ಹರ್ಷಾನಂದಗಳು ತೋಟಗಳಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿವೆ. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದ ಧ್ವನಿಯೂ, ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಆರ್ಭಟವೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತುಳಿಯುವವರು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ತೆಗೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಕೂಗಾಟವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-haresh.
೧೧ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು, ಕೀರ್ ಹೆರೆಸಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗವು ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯಂತೆ ಅಲುಗಿ ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
೧೨ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ದಿಣ್ಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಪೂಜೆಯಿಂದ ಬಹಳ ಆಯಾಸಗೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೂ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಸಫಲವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
13 This [is] the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
೧೩ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದೆ ನುಡಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಇದೇ.
14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant [shall be] very small [and] feeble.
೧೪ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗೆ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ವೈಭವವು ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗುವುದು. ಅವರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪು ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದು ಅವರ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ, ಉಳಿದವರು ಕೇವಲ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಬಲಹೀನರಾಗುವರು” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
