Esther 10

1 And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and [upon] the isles of the sea.

ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಷ್ವೇರೋಷನು ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ತೆರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

ಅವನ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವೂ ಅರಸನು ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ ಮಹತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಮೇದ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರಸಿಯ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

3 For Mordecai the Jew [was] next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.

ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನಾದ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಷ್ವೇರೋಷನಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯವನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿತನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಗೌರವ ಪಾತ್ರನೂ ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ಹಿತಚಿಂತಕನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು.
