Deuteronomy 23
1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
外腎を傷なひたる者または玉莖を切りたる者はヱホバの會に入べからず
2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
私子はヱホバの會にいるべからず是は十代までもヱホバの會にいるべからざるなり
3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
アンモン人およびモアブ人はヱホバの會にいる可らず故らは十代までも何時までもヱホバの會にいるべからざるなり
4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
是汝らがエジプトより出きたりし時に彼らはパンと水とをもて汝らを途に迎へずメソポタミアのペトル人ベオルの子バラムを倩ひて汝を詛はせんと爲たればなり
5 Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
然れども汝の神ヱホバ、バラムに聽ことを爲給はずして汝の神ヱホバその呪詛を變て汝のために祝福となしたまへり是汝の神ヱホバ汝を愛したまふが故なり
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
汝一生いつまでも彼らのために平安をもまた福禄をも求むべからず
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he [is] thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
汝エドム人を惡べからず是は汝の兄弟なればなりまたエジプト人を惡むべからず汝もこれが國に客たりしこと有ばなり
8 The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the LORD in their third generation.
彼等の生たる子等は三代におよばばヱホバの會にいることを得べし
9 When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.
汝軍旅を出して汝の敵を攻る時は諸の惡き事を自ら謹むべし
10 If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
汝らの中間にもし夜中計ずも汚穢にふれて身の潔からざる人あらば陣營の外にいづべし陣營の内に入べからず
11 But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash [himself] with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp [again].
而して薄暮に水をもて身を洗ひ日の入て後陣營に入べし
12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
汝陣營の外に一箇の處を設けおき便する時は其處に往べし
13 And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:
また器具の中に小鍬を備へおき外に出て便する時はこれをもて土を掘り身を返してその汝より出たる物を蓋ふべし
14 For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
其は汝の神ヱホバ汝を救ひ汝の敵を汝に付さんとて汝の陣營の中を歩きたまへばなり是をもて汝の陣營を聖潔すべし然せば汝の中に汚穢物あるを見て汝を離れたまふこと有ざるべし
15 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
その主人を避て汝の許に逃きたる僕をその主人に交すべからす
16 He shall dwell with thee, [even] among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
その者をして汝らの中に汝とともに居しめ汝の一の邑の中にて之が善と見て擇ぶ處に住しむべし之を虐遇べからず
17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
イスラエルの女子の中に娼妓あるべからずイスラエルの男子の中に男娼あるべからず
18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these [are] abomination unto the LORD thy God.
娼妓の得たる價および狗の價を汝の神ヱホバの家に携へいりて何の誓願にも用ゐるべからず是等はともに汝の神ヱホバの憎みたまふ者なればなり
19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
汝の兄弟より利息を取べからず即ち金の利息食物の利息など凡て利息を生ずべき物の利息を取べからず
20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
他國の人よりは汝利息を取も宜し惟汝の兄弟よりは利息を取べからず然ば汝が往て獲ところの地において汝の神ヱホバ凡て汝が手に爲ところの事に福祥をくだしたまふべし
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
汝の神ヱホバに誓願をかけなば之か還すことを怠るべからず汝の神ヱホバかならずこれを汝に要めたまふべし怠る時は汝罪あり
22 But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
汝誓願をかけざるも罪を獲ること有じ
23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; [even] a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
汝が口より出しし事は守りて行ふべし凡て自意の禮物は汝の神ヱホバに汝が誓願し口をもて約せしごとくに行ふべし
24 When thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put [any] in thy vessel.
汝の鄰の葡萄園に至る時汝意にまかせてその葡萄を飽まで食ふも宜し然ど器の中に取いるべからず
25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour’s standing corn.
また汝の鄰の麥圃にいたる時汝手にてその穂を摘食ふも宜し然ど汝の鄰の麥圃に鎌をいるべからず
