Acts 6

1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

Ын зилеле ачеля, кынд с-а ынмулцит нумэрул ученичилор, евреий каре ворбяу гречеште кыртяу ымпотрива евреилор, пентру кэ вэдувеле лор ерау трекуте ку ведеря ла ымпэрцяла ажутоарелор де тоате зилеле.

2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples [unto them], and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Чей дойспрезече ау адунат мулцимя ученичилор ши ау зис: „Ну есте потривит пентру ной сэ лэсэм Кувынтул луй Думнезеу ка сэ служим ла месе.

3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

Де ачея, фрацилор, алеӂець динтре вой шапте бэрбаць ворбиць де бине, плинь де Духул Сфынт ши ынцелепчуне, пе каре ый вом пуне ла служба ачаста.

4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Яр ной вом стэруи некурмат ын ругэчуне ши ын проповэдуиря Кувынтулуй.”

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

Ворбиря ачаста а плэкут ынтреӂий адунэрь. Ау алес пе Штефан, бэрбат плин де крединцэ ши де Духул Сфынт, пе Филип, пе Прохор, пе Никанор, пе Тимон, пе Пармена ши пе Николае, ун прозелит дин Антиохия.

6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid [their] hands on them.

Й-ау адус ынаинтя апостолилор, каре, дупэ че с-ау ругат, шь-ау пус мыниле песте ей.

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Кувынтул луй Думнезеу се рэспындя тот май мулт, нумэрул ученичилор се ынмулця мулт ын Иерусалим ши о маре мулциме де преоць веняу ла крединцэ.

8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

Штефан ера плин де хар ши де путере ши фэчя минунь ши семне марь ын нород.

9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called [the synagogue] of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

Уний дин синагога нумитэ а Избэвицилор, а Чириненилор ши а Александринилор, ымпреунэ ку ниште иудей дин Чиличия ши дин Асия, ау ынчепут о чартэ де ворбе ку Штефан,

10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

дар ну путяу сэ стя ымпотрива ынцелепчуний ши Духулуй ку каре ворбя ел.

11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and [against] God.

Атунч ау пус ла кале пе ниште оамень сэ зикэ: „Ной л-ам аузит ростинд кувинте де хулэ ымпотрива луй Мойсе ши ымпотрива луй Думнезеу.”

12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon [him], and caught him, and brought [him] to the council,

Ау ынтэрытат нородул, пе бэтрынь ши пе кэртурарь, ау нэвэлит асупра луй, ау пус мына пе ел ши л-ау дус ын собор.

13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

Ау скос ниште марторь минчиношь, каре ау зис: „Омул ачеста ну ынчетязэ сэ спунэ кувинте де хулэ ымпотрива ачестуй локаш сфынт ши ымпотрива Леӂий.

14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

Ын адевэр, л-ам аузит зикынд кэ ачест Исус дин Назарет ва дэрыма локашул ачеста ши ва скимба обичеюриле пе каре ни ле-а дат Мойсе.”

15 And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

Тоць чей че шедяу ын собор с-ау уйтат цинтэ ла Штефан, ши фаца луй ли с-а арэтат ка о фацэ де ынӂер.
