2 Samuel 22
1 And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
Und David redete vor dem HERRN die Worte dieses Liedes zur Zeit, da ihn der HERR errettet hatte von der Hand aller seiner Feinde und von der Hand Sauls, und sprach:
2 And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
Der HERR ist mein Fels und meine Burg und mein Erretter.
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
Gott ist mein Hort, auf den ich traue, mein Schild und Horn meines Heils, mein Schutz und meine Zuflucht, mein Heiland, der du mir hilfst vom Frevel.
4 I will call on the LORD, [who is] worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Ich will den HERRN loben und anrufen, so werde ich von meinen Feinden erlöset werden.
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
Denn es hatten mich umfangen die Schmerzen des Todes, und die Bäche Belials erschreckten mich.
Der Höllen Bande umfingen mich, und des Todes Stricke überwältigten mich. (Sheol h7585)
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry [did enter] into his ears.
Wenn mir angst ist, so rufe ich den HERRN an und schreie zu meinem Gott, so erhöret er meine Stimme von seinem Tempel, und mein Geschrei kommt vor ihn zu seinen Ohren.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
Die Erde bebete und ward bewegt, die Grundfesten des Himmels regten sich und bebeten, da er zornig war.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
Dampf ging auf von seiner Nase und verzehrend Feuer von seinem Munde, daß es davon blitzte.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness [was] under his feet.
Er neigete den Himmel und fuhr herab, und Dunkel war unter seinen Füßen.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
Und er fuhr auf dem Cherub und flog daher; und er schwebete auf den Fittichen des Windes.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, [and] thick clouds of the skies.
Sein Gezelt um ihn her war finster und schwarze dicke Wolken.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
Von dem Glanz vor ihm brannte es mit Blitzen.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
Der HERR donnerte vom Himmel, und der Höchste ließ seinen Donner aus.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
Er schoß seine Strahlen und zerstreuete sie; er ließ blitzen und schreckte sie.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
Da sah man Wassergüsse, und des Erdbodens Grund ward aufgedeckt von dem Schelten des HERRN, von dem Odem und Schnauben seiner Nase.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
Er schickte aus von der Höhe und holte mich und zog mich aus großen Wassern.
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, [and] from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
Er errettete mich von meinen starken Feinden, von meinen Hassern, die mir zu mächtig waren,
19 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
die mich überwältigten zur Zeit meines Unfalls. Und der HERR ward meine Zuversicht.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
Er führete mich aus in den Raum; er riß mich heraus, denn er hatte Lust zu mir.
21 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
Der HERR tut wohl an mir nach meiner Gerechtigkeit; er vergilt mir nach der Reinigkeit meiner Hände.
22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
Denn ich halte die Wege des HERRN und bin nicht gottlos wider meinen Gott.
23 For all his judgments [were] before me: and [as for] his statutes, I did not depart from them.
Denn alle seine Rechte habe ich vor Augen und seine Gebote werfe ich nicht von mir;
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
sondern ich bin ohne Wandel vor ihm und hüte mich vor Sünden.
25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
Darum vergilt mir der HERR nach meiner Gerechtigkeit, nach meiner Reinigkeit vor seinen Augen.
26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, [and] with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
Bei den Heiligen bist du heilig, bei den Frommen bist du fromm,
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
bei den Reinen bist du rein und bei den Verkehrten bist du verkehrt.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes [are] upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.
Denn du hilfst dem elenden Volk und mit deinen Augen niedrigest du die Hohen.
29 For thou [art] my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
Denn du, HERR, bist meine Leuchte. Der HERR machet meine Finsternis licht.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
Denn mit dir kann ich Kriegsvolk zerschmeißen und mit meinem Gott über die Mauern springen.
31 [As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of the LORD [is] tried: he [is] a buckler to all them that trust in him.
Gottes Wege sind ohne Wandel, des HERRN Reden sind durchläutert; er ist ein Schild allen, die ihm vertrauen.
32 For who [is] God, save the LORD? and who [is] a rock, save our God?
Denn ist ein Gott ohne den HERRN? Und wo ist ein Hort, ohne unser Gott?
33 God [is] my strength [and] power: and he maketh my way perfect.
Gott stärket mich mit Kraft und weiset mir einen Weg ohne Wandel.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds’ [feet: ] and setteth me upon my high places.
Er machet meine Füße gleich den Hirschen und stellet mich auf meine Höhe.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
Er lehret meine Hände streiten und lehret meinen Arm den ehernen Bogen spannen.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Und gibst mir den Schild deines Heils. Und wenn du mich demütigest, machst du mich groß.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
Du machst unter mir Raum zu gehen, daß meine Knöchel nicht gleiten.
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
Ich will meinen Feinden nachjagen und sie vertilgen; und will nicht umkehren, bis ich sie umgebracht habe.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
Ich will sie umbringen und zerschmeißen, und sollen mir nicht widerstehen; sie müssen unter meine Füße fallen.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
Du kannst mich rüsten mit Stärke zum Streit; du kannst unter mich werfen, die sich wider mich setzen.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
Du gibst mir meine Feinde in die Flucht, daß ich verstöre, die mich hassen.
42 They looked, but [there was] none to save; [even] unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
Sie lieben sich zu, aber da ist kein Helfer; zum HERRN, aber er antwortet ihnen nicht.
43 Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, [and] did spread them abroad.
Ich will sie zerstoßen wie Staub auf der Erde; wie Kot auf der Gasse will ich sie verstäuben und zerstreuen.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me [to be] head of the heathen: a people [which] I knew not shall serve me.
Du hilfst mir von dem zänkischen Volk und behütest mich zum Haupt unter den Heiden; ein Volk, das ich nicht kannte, dienet mir.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
Den fremden Kindern hat es wider mich gefehlet, und gehorchen mir mit gehorsamen Ohren.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
Die fremden Kinder sind verschmachtet und zappeln in ihren Banden.
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
Der HERR lebet; und gelobet sei mein Hort, und Gott, der Hort meines Heils, müsse erhaben werden,
48 It [is] God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
der Gott, der mir die Rache gibt und wirft die Völker unter mich.
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
Er hilft mir aus von meinen Feinden. Du erhöhest mich aus denen, die sich wider mich setzen; du hilfst mir von den Frevlern.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
Darum will ich dir danken, HERR, unter den Heiden und deinem Namen lobsingen,
51 [He is] the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
der seinem Könige groß Heil beweiset und wohltut seinem Gesalbten David und seinem Samen ewiglich.
