< 1 Thessalonians 2 >

1 For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
Ku nsoko unyenye akola mulingile, aluna ku upembyi nuitu kitalanyu shanga ai wanankanda.
2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
Mulingile kina u ng'wandyo ai akagilye hangi ai akiutendele ku minyala uko ku Filipi, anga ni mulingile. Ai katulaa nu ukamatiku mung'wa Itunda kitunta inkani ninza niang'wa Itunda ga nuku lwago lidu.
3 For our exhortation [was] not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
Ku ndogoelyo u ulangi nuitu shanga upembeeye nu ubi, ang'wi mu ushapu, ang'wi mi isue.
4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
Badala akwe, anga iti nai kugombekile ni Itunda nu ku huiilwa inkani ninza, uu ni kuitunta. Kuitunta, shanga ku aloeelya antu. kuiti kumuloeelya Itunda. Ng'wenso wing'wene yuyo wipukaa inkolo ni itu
5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God [is] witness:
Ku ndogoelyo shanga ai kutumie i makani a kisenkeneelya matungo ihi, anga ni mulingile, ang'wi kutumila makani anga kisingiilya ku nsula, Itunda ingi mukuiili nuitu.
6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor [yet] of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
Ang'wi shanga ai kudumile ikulyo ku antu, ang'wi kupuma kitalanyu ang'wi ku angiiza. Ai kuhumile kudaya kuguniiligwaa anga itumi ang'wa Kristo
7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
Badala akwe ai kutuile kiapolo kati anyu anga nyinya nuiapolya i ana akwe mukola.
8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
Ku nzila iyi ai katulaa nu ulowa kitalanyu. Ai katulaa alyuuku kumuhanguila shanga udu inkani ni nziza niang'wa Itunda ila ga nu likalo nu litu akola. Ku nsoko ai matulaa mi alowa itu.
9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
Kunsoko a luna, mukimbukile u mulimo nu lwago nulitu. Utiku nu mung'wi ai katulaa kuituma u mulimo kuleke kumulemeelya wihi. Matungo nanso, ai kuatanantiiye inkani ninza niang'wa Itunda.
10 Ye [are] witnesses, and God [also], how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
Unyenye miakuili, ni Itunda ga, ingi ku ikulyo nila mpyani kii, ni bila usokogwa nai kugendile akola ntongeela anyu ni muhuiie.
11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father [doth] his children,
Iti uu, mulingile ingi ku ndogoelyo kii ku kila ung'wi anyu, anga uTata nuili ku ana akwe nai kumukomangiie nu kumuhumya insula. ai ku kuiie
12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
kina itakiwe kulongoleka anga nuili u witangwi nuanyu kung'wa Itunda, nai umitangile mu utemi ni ikulyo nilakwe.
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Ku nsoko nanso kumu lumbiiye Itunda ga kila matungo. Ku nsoko itungo nai musingiiye kupuma kitaitu u lukani nulang'wa Itunda nai muligulye, ai musingiiye shanga anga lukani nula ana adamu. Badala akwe, ai musingiiye anga itai nili, lukani lang'wa Itunda. Ingi lukani ulu niiza litumaa mulimo mukati anyu ni muhuiie.
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they [have] of the Jews:
Ku iti uyenye, aluna, mutule antu a kutyatisha i matekeelo ang'wa Itunda nakoli ku Uyahudi mung'wa Kristo Yesu. Ku nsoko nu nyenye ga ai magigwe ku makani yayo yaayo kupuma ku antu anyu, anga nai yatulaa kina kupuma ku Ayahudi.
15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
ai atulaa ingi Ayahudi wawo nai amubulagile uMukulu uYesu palung'wi ni anyakidagu. Ingi Ayahudi naza akuzunsilye kupume kunzi. Shanga amuloeeye Itunda hangi ingi alugu ku antu ihi.
16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
Ai akugiiye kuleke kuligitya ni anyaingu iti alije kugunwa. Mapumilo akwe ingi kina alongolekile ni milandu ao. Mpelo ikuo nilang'wa Itunda lazilee migulya ao.
17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
uSese, aluna, ai katulaa kibagula nu nyenye ku itungo ikupi, kinya muili, shanga mu nkolo. Ai kitumile ku uhumi nuitu nu ku nsula nkulu kihenga u usu nuanyu.
18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
Kunsoko ai kalowa kupembya kitalanyu, nene Paulo, ku nkua ang'wandyo ni nkua inzuya, kuiti u mulugu ai ukugiiye.
19 For what [is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? [Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
Ku kihuiila kitaitu ingi ntuni ku panyambele, angwi iloeelya, ang'wi ngala akiloelya ntongeela a Mukulu itu uYesu itungo nila kupembya kitalakwe? Itii shanga nyenye ikilo anga ni ili iauya?
20 For ye are our glory and joy.
Kunsoko u nyenye ingi ikulyo ni iloeelya ni litu.
