1 Corinthians 11
1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.
เห ภฺราตร: , ยูยํ สรฺวฺวสฺมินฺ การฺเยฺย มำ สฺมรถ มยา จ ยาทฺฤคุปทิษฺฏาสฺตาทฺฤคาจรไถตตฺการณาตฺ มยา ปฺรศํสนียา อาทฺเหฺพฯ
2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered [them] to you.
ตถาปิ มไมษา วาญฺฉา ยทฺ ยูยมิทมฺ อวคตา ภวถ,
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.
เอไกกสฺย ปุรุษโสฺยตฺตมางฺคสฺวรูป: ขฺรีษฺฏ: , โยษิตศฺโจตฺตมางฺคสฺวรูป: ปุมานฺ, ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย โจตฺตมางฺคสฺวรูป อีศฺวร: ฯ
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having [his] head covered, dishonoureth his head.
อปรมฺ อาจฺฉาทิโตตฺตมางฺเคน เยน ปุํสา ปฺรารฺถนา กฺริยต อีศฺวรียวาณี กถฺยเต วา เตน สฺวีโยตฺตมางฺคมฺ อวชฺญายเตฯ
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with [her] head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
อนาจฺฉาทิโตตฺตมางฺคยา ยยา โยษิตา จ ปฺรารฺถนา กฺริยต อีศฺวรียวาณี กถฺยเต วา ตยาปิ สฺวีโยตฺตมางฺคมฺ อวชฺญายเต ยต: สา มุณฺฑิตศิร: สทฺฤศาฯ
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
อนาจฺฉาทิตมสฺตกา ยา โยษิตฺ ตสฺยา: ศิร: มุณฺฑนียเมว กินฺตุ โยษิต: เกศจฺเฉทนํ ศิโรมุณฺฑนํ วา ยทิ ลชฺชาชนกํ ภเวตฺ ตรฺหิ ตยา สฺวศิร อาจฺฉาทฺยตำฯ
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
ปุมานฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ปฺรติมูรฺตฺติ: ปฺรติเตช: สฺวรูปศฺจ ตสฺมาตฺ เตน ศิโร นาจฺฉาทนียํ กินฺตุ สีมนฺตินี ปุํส: ปฺรติพิมฺพสฺวรูปาฯ
8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
ยโต โยษาต: ปุมานฺ โนทปาทิ กินฺตุ ปุํโส โยษิทฺ อุทปาทิฯ
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
อธิกนฺตุ โยษิต: กฺฤเต ปุํส: สฺฤษฺฏิ รฺน พภูว กินฺตุ ปุํส: กฺฤเต โยษิต: สฺฤษฺฏิ รฺพภูวฯ
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on [her] head because of the angels.
อิติ เหโต รฺทูตานามฺ อาทราทฺ โยษิตา ศิรสฺยธีนตาสูจกมฺ อาวรณํ ธรฺตฺตวฺยํฯ
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
ตถาปิ ปฺรโภ รฺวิธินา ปุมำสํ วินา โยษินฺน ชายเต โยษิตญฺจ วินา ปุมานฺ น ชายเตฯ
12 For as the woman [is] of the man, even so [is] the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
ยโต ยถา ปุํโส โยษิทฺ อุทปาทิ ตถา โยษิต: ปุมานฺ ชายเต, สรฺวฺววสฺตูนิ เจศฺวราทฺ อุตฺปทฺยนฺเตฯ
13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
ยุษฺมาภิเรไวตทฺ วิวิจฺยตำ, อนาวฺฤตยา โยษิตา ปฺรารฺถนํ กึ สุทฺฤศฺยํ ภเวตฺ?
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
ปุรุษสฺย ทีรฺฆเกศตฺวํ ตสฺย ลชฺชาชนกํ, กินฺตุ โยษิโต ทีรฺฆเกศตฺวํ ตสฺยา เคารวชนกํ
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for [her] hair is given her for a covering.
ยต อาจฺฉาทนาย ตไสฺย เกศา ทตฺตา อิติ กึ ยุษฺมาภิ: สฺวภาวโต น ศิกฺษฺยเต?
16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
อตฺร ยทิ กศฺจิทฺ วิวทิตุมฺ อิจฺเฉตฺ ตรฺหฺยสฺมากมฺ อีศฺวรียสมิตีนาญฺจ ตาทฺฤศี รีติ รฺน วิทฺยเตฯ
17 Now in this that I declare [unto you] I praise [you] not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
ยุษฺมาภิ รฺน ภทฺราย กินฺตุ กุตฺสิตาย สมาคมฺยเต ตสฺมาทฺ เอตานิ ภาษมาเณน มยา ยูยํ น ปฺรศํสนียา: ฯ
18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
ปฺรถมต: สมิเตา สมาคตานำ ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย เภทา: สนฺตีติ วารฺตฺตา มยา ศฺรูยเต ตนฺมเธฺย กิญฺจิตฺ สตฺยํ มนฺยเต จฯ
19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
ยโต เหโต รฺยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย เย ปรีกฺษิตาเสฺต ยตฺ ปฺรกาศฺยนฺเต ตทรฺถํ เภไท รฺภวิตวฺยเมวฯ
20 When ye come together therefore into one place, [this] is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
เอกตฺร สมาคไต รฺยุษฺมาภิ: ปฺรภาวํ เภชฺยํ ภุชฺยต อิติ นหิ;
21 For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
ยโต โภชนกาเล ยุษฺมากเมไกเกน สฺวกียํ ภกฺษฺยํ ตูรฺณํ คฺรสฺยเต ตสฺมาทฺ เอโก ชโน พุภุกฺษิตสฺติษฺฐติ, อนฺยศฺจ ปริตฺฤปฺโต ภวติฯ
22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise [you] not.
โภชนปานารฺถํ ยุษฺมากํ กึ เวศฺมานิ น สนฺติ? ยุษฺมาภิ รฺวา กิมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย สมิตึ ตุจฺฉีกฺฤตฺย ทีนา โลกา อวชฺญายนฺเต? อิตฺยเนน มยา กึ วกฺตวฺยํ? ยูยํ กึ มยา ปฺรศํสนียา: ? เอตสฺมินฺ ยูยํ น ปฺรศํสนียา: ฯ
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread:
ปฺรภุโต ย อุปเทโศ มยา ลพฺโธ ยุษฺมาสุ สมรฺปิตศฺจ ส เอษ: ฯ
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
ปรกรสมรฺปณกฺษปายำ ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุ: ปูปมาทาเยศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วฺยาหฺฤตฺย ตํ ภงฺกฺตฺวา ภาษิตวานฺ ยุษฺมาภิเรตทฺ คฺฤหฺยตำ ภุชฺยตาญฺจ ตทฺ ยุษฺมตฺกฺฤเต ภคฺนํ มม ศรีรํ; มม สฺมรณารฺถํ ยุษฺมาภิเรตตฺ กฺริยตำฯ
25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me.
ปุนศฺจ เภชนาตฺ ปรํ ตไถว กํสมฺ อาทาย เตโนกฺตํ กํโส'ยํ มม โศณิเตน สฺถาปิโต นูตนนิยม: ; ยติวารํ ยุษฺมาภิเรตตฺ ปียเต ตติวารํ มม สฺมรณารฺถํ ปียตำฯ
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
ยติวารํ ยุษฺมาภิเรษ ปูโป ภุชฺยเต ภาชเนนาเนน ปียเต จ ตติวารํ ปฺรโภราคมนํ ยาวตฺ ตสฺย มฺฤตฺยุ: ปฺรกาศฺยเตฯ
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
อปรญฺจ ย: กศฺจิทฺ อโยคฺยเตฺวน ปฺรโภริมํ ปูปมฺ อศฺนาติ ตสฺยาเนน ภาชเนน ปิวติ จ ส ปฺรโภ: กายรุธิรโย รฺทณฺฑทายี ภวิษฺยติฯ
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup.
ตสฺมาตฺ มานเวนาคฺร อาตฺมาน ปรีกฺษฺย ปศฺจาทฺ เอษ ปูโป ภุชฺยตำ กํเสนาเนน จ ปียตำฯ
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
เยน จานรฺหเตฺวน ภุชฺยเต ปียเต จ ปฺรโภ: กายมฺ อวิมฺฤศตา เตน ทณฺฑปฺราปฺตเย ภุชฺยเต ปียเต จฯ
30 For this cause many [are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
เอตตฺการณาทฺ ยุษฺมากํ ภูริโศ โลกา ทุรฺพฺพลา โรคิณศฺจ สนฺติ พหวศฺจ มหานิทฺรำ คตา: ฯ
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
อสฺมาภิ รฺยทฺยาตฺมวิจาโร'การิษฺยต ตรฺหิ ทณฺโฑ นาลปฺสฺยต;
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
กินฺตุ ยทาสฺมากํ วิจาโร ภวติ ตทา วยํ ชคโต ชไน: สมํ ยทฺ ทณฺฑํ น ลภามเห ตทรฺถํ ปฺรภุนา ศาสฺตึ ภุํชฺมเหฯ
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
เห มม ภฺราตร: , โภชนารฺถํ มิลิตานำ ยุษฺมากมฺ เอเกเนตโร'นุคฺฤหฺยตำฯ
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
ยศฺจ พุภุกฺษิต: ส สฺวคฺฤเห ภุงฺกฺตำฯ ทณฺฑปฺราปฺตเย ยุษฺมาภิ รฺน สมาคมฺยตำฯ เอตทฺภินฺนํ ยทฺ อาเทษฺฏวฺยํ ตทฺ ยุษฺมตฺสมีปาคมนกาเล มยาเทกฺษฺยเตฯ
