1 Corinthians 11
1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.
| پس اقتدا به من نمایید چنانکه من نیز به مسیح می‌کنم. | ۱ |
2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered [them] to you.
| اما‌ای برادران شما را تحسین می‌نمایم ازاین جهت که در هرچیز مرا یاد می‌دارید و اخبار رابطوری که به شما سپردم، حفظ می‌نمایید. | ۲ |
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.
| اما می‌خواهم شما بدانید که سر هر مرد، مسیح است و سر زن، مرد و سر مسیح، خدا. | ۳ |
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having [his] head covered, dishonoureth his head.
| هرمردی که سرپوشیده دعا یا نبوت کند، سر خود رارسوا می‌نماید. | ۴ |
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with [her] head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
| اما هر زنی که سر برهنه دعا یانبوت کند، سر خود را رسوا می‌سازد، زیرا این چنان است که تراشیده شود. | ۵ |
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
| زیرا اگر زن نمی پوشد، موی را نیز ببرد؛ و اگر زن را موی بریدن یا تراشیدن قبیح است، باید بپوشد. | ۶ |
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
| زیراکه مرد را نباید سر خود بپوشد چونکه او صورت و جلال خداست، اما زن جلال مرد است. | ۷ |
8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
| زیراکه مرد از زن نیست بلکه زن از مرد است. | ۸ |
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
| و نیزمرد بجهت زن آفریده نشد، بلکه زن برای مرد. | ۹ |
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on [her] head because of the angels.
| از این جهت زن می‌باید عزتی بر سر داشته باشد به‌سبب فرشتگان. | ۱۰ |
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
| لیکن زن از مرد جدانیست و مرد هم جدا از زن نیست در خداوند. | ۱۱ |
12 For as the woman [is] of the man, even so [is] the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
| زیرا چنانکه زن از مرد است، همچنین مرد نیزبوسیله زن، لیکن همه‌چیز از خدا. | ۱۲ |
13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
| در دل خود انصاف دهید: آیا شایسته است که زن ناپوشیده نزد خدا دعا کند؟ | ۱۳ |
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
| آیا خودطبیعت شما را نمی آموزد که اگر مرد موی درازدارد، او را عار می‌باشد؟ | ۱۴ |
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for [her] hair is given her for a covering.
| و اگر زن موی درازدارد، او را فخر است، زیرا که موی بجهت پرده بدو داده شد؟ | ۱۵ |
16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
| و اگر کسی ستیزه گر باشد، ما وکلیساهای خدا را چنین عادتی نیست. | ۱۶ |
17 Now in this that I declare [unto you] I praise [you] not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
| لیکن چون این حکم را به شما می‌کنم، شمارا تحسین نمی کنم، زیرا که شما نه از برای بهتری بلکه برای بدتری جمع می‌شوید. | ۱۷ |
18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
| زیرا اولاهنگامی که شما در کلیسا جمع می‌شوید، می‌شنوم که در میان شما شقاقها روی می‌دهد وقدری از آن را باور می‌کنم. | ۱۸ |
19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
| از آن جهت که لازم است در میان شما بدعتها نیز باشد تا که مقبولان از شما ظاهر گردند. | ۱۹ |
20 When ye come together therefore into one place, [this] is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
| پس چون شما دریک جا جمع می‌شوید، ممکن نیست که شام خداوند خورده شود، | ۲۰ |
21 For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
| زیرا در وقت خوردن هرکس شام خود را پیشتر می‌گیرد و یکی گرسنه و دیگری مست می‌شود. | ۲۱ |
22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise [you] not.
| مگر خانه‌ها برای خوردن و آشامیدن ندارید؟ یا کلیسای خدا راتحقیر می‌نمایید و آنانی را که ندارند شرمنده می‌سازید؟ به شما چه بگویم؟ آیا در این امر شمارا تحسین نمایم؟ تحسین نمی نمایم! | ۲۲ |
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread:
| زیرا من از خداوند یافتم، آنچه به شما نیزسپردم که عیسی خداوند در شبی که او را تسلیم کردند، نان را گرفت | ۲۳ |
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
| و شکر نموده، پاره کرد وگفت: «بگیرید بخورید. این است بدن من که برای شما پاره می‌شود. این را به یادگاری من به‌جاآرید.» | ۲۴ |
25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me.
| و همچنین پیاله را نیز بعد از شام وگفت: «این پیاله عهد جدید است در خون من. هرگاه این را بنوشید، به یادگاری من بکنید.» | ۲۵ |
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
| زیرا هرگاه این نان را بخورید و این پیاله رابنوشید، موت خداوند را ظاهر می‌نمایید تاهنگامی که بازآید. | ۲۶ |
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
| پس هرکه بطور ناشایسته نان را بخورد وپیاله خداوند را بنوشد، مجرم بدن و خون خداوند خواهد بود. | ۲۷ |
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup.
| اما هر شخص خود راامتحان کند و بدینطرز از آن نان بخورد و از آن پیاله بنوشد. | ۲۸ |
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
| زیرا هرکه می‌خورد و می‌نوشد، فتوای خود را می‌خورد و می‌نوشد اگر بدن خداوند را تمییز نمی کند. | ۲۹ |
30 For this cause many [are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
| از این سبب بسیاری از شما ضعیف و مریض‌اند و بسیاری خوابیده‌اند. | ۳۰ |
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
| اما اگر برخود حکم می‌کردیم، حکم بر مانمی شد. | ۳۱ |
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
| لکن هنگامی که بر ما حکم می‌شود، از خداوند تادیب می‌شویم مبادا با اهل دنیا بر ماحکم شود. | ۳۲ |
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
| لهذا‌ای برادران من، چون بجهت خوردن جمع می‌شوید، منتظر یکدیگر باشید. | ۳۳ |
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
| و اگرکسی گرسنه باشد، در خانه بخورد، مبادا بجهت عقوبت جمع شوید. و چون بیایم، مابقی را منتظم خواهم نمود. | ۳۴ |
