Luke 20
1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
或 日イエス宮にて民を教へ、福音を宣べゐ給ふとき、祭司長・學者らは、長老どもと共に近づき來り、
2 And spoke unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority do you these things? or who is he that gave you this authority?
イエスに語りて言ふ『なにの權威をもて此 等の事をなすか、此の權威を授けし者は誰か、我らに告げよ』
3 And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; (logos) and answer me:
答へて言ひ給ふ『われも一言なんぢらに問はん、答へよ。
4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?
ヨハネのバプテスマは天よりか、人よりか』
5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed all of you him not?
彼ら互に論じて言ふ『もし「天より」と言はば「なに故かれを信ぜざりし」と言はん。
6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
もし「人より」と言はんか、民みなヨハネを預言者と信ずるによりて、我らを石にて撃たん』
7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.
遂に何處よりか知らぬ由を答ふ。
8 And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
イエス言ひたまふ『われも何の權威をもて此 等の事をなすか、汝らに告げじ』
9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
かくて次の譬を民に語りいで給ふ『ある人、葡萄園を造りて農夫どもに貸し、遠く旅立して久しくなりぬ。
10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
時 至りて、葡萄園の所得を納めしめんとて、一人の僕を農夫の許に遣ししに、農夫ども之を打ちたたき、空手にて歸らしめたり。
11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and pleaded him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
又ほかの僕を遣ししに、之をも打ちたたき、辱しめ、空手にて歸らしめたり。
12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
なほ三度めの者を遣ししに、之をも傷つけて逐ひ出したり。
13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
葡萄園の主いふ「われ何を爲さんか。我が愛しむ子を遣さん、或は之を敬ふなるべし」
14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
農夫ども之を見て互に論じて言ふ「これは世嗣なり。いざ殺して其の嗣業を我らの物とせん」
15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
かくてこれを葡萄園の外に逐ひ出して殺せり。さらば葡萄園の主かれらに何を爲さんか、
16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
來りてかの農夫どもを亡し、葡萄園を他の者どもに與ふべし』人々これを聽きて言ふ『然はあらざれ』
17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
イエス彼らに目を注めて言ひ給ふ『されば「造家者らの棄てる石は、これぞ隅の首石となれる」と録されたるは何ぞや。
18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
凡そその石の上に倒るる者は碎け、又その石、人の上に倒るれば、その人を微塵にせん』
19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
此のとき學者・祭司長ら、イエスに手をかけんと思ひたれど、民を恐れたり。この譬の己どもを指して言ひ給へるを悟りしに因る。
20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, (logos) that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
かくて彼ら機を窺ひ、イエスを司の支配と權威との下に付さんとて、その言を捉ふるために、義人の樣したる間諜どもを遣したれば、
21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that you say and teach rightly, neither accept you the person of any, but teach the way of God truly:
其の者どもイエスに問ひて言ふ『師よ、我らは汝の正しく語り、かつ教へ、外貌を取らず、眞をもて神の道を教へ給ふを知る。
22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
われら貢をカイザルに納むるは、善きか、惡しきか』
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt all of you me?
イエスその惡巧を知りて言ひ給ふ、
24 Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription has it? They answered and said, Caesar's.
『デナリを我に見せよ。これは誰の像、たれの號なるか』『カイザルのなり』と答ふ。
25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
イエス言ひ給ふ『さらばカイザルの物はカイザルに、神の物は神に納めよ』
26 And they could not take hold of his words (rhema) before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
かれら民の前にて其の言をとらへ得ず、且その答を怪しみて默したり。
27 Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
また復活なしと言張るサドカイ人の或 者ども、イエスに來り問ひて言ふ、
28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
『師よ、モーセは、人の兄弟もし妻あり子なくして死なば、其の兄弟かれの妻を娶りて、兄弟のために嗣子を擧ぐべしと、我らに書き遣したり。
29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
さて茲に七人の兄弟ありて、兄、妻を娶り、子なくして死に、
30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
第二、第三の者も之を娶り、
31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
七人みな同じく子を殘さずして死に、
32 Last of all the woman died also.
後には其の女も死にたり。
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
されば復活の時、この女は誰の妻たるべきか、七人これを妻としたればなり』
34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: (aiōn g165)
イエス言ひ給ふ『この世の子らは娶り嫁ぎすれど、 (aiōn g165)
35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: (aiōn g165)
かの世に入るに、死人の中より甦へるに相應しとせらるる者は、娶り嫁ぎすることなし。 (aiōn g165)
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
彼 等ははや死ぬること能はざればなり。御使たちに等しく、また復活の子どもにして、神の子供たるなり。
37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calls the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
死にたる者の甦へる事は、モーセも柴の條に、主を「アブラハムの神、イサクの神、ヤコブの神」と呼びて之を示せり。
38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
神は死にたる者の神にあらず、生ける者の神なり。それ神の前には皆 生けるなり』
39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, you have well said.
學者のうちの或 者ども答へて『師よ、善く言ひ給へり』と言ふ。
40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.
彼 等ははや何事をも問ひ得ざりし故なり。
41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?
イエス彼らに言ひたまふ『如何なれば人々、キリストをダビデの子と言ふか。
42 And David himself says in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand,
ダビデ自ら詩 篇に言ふ「主わが主に言ひたまふ、
43 Till I make your enemies your footstool.
われ汝の敵を汝の足臺となすまでは、わが右に坐せよ」
44 David therefore calls him Lord, how is he then his son?
ダビデ斯く彼を主と稱ふれば、爭でその子ならんや』
45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
民の皆ききをる中にて、イエス弟子たちに言ひ給ふ、
46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
『學者らに心せよ。彼らは長き衣を著て歩むことを好み、市場にての敬禮、會堂の上座、饗宴の上席を喜び、
47 Which devour widows' houses, and for a show make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
また寡婦らの家を呑み、外見をつくりて長き祈をなす。其の受くる審判は更に嚴しからん』
