Luke 18
1 And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
为了鼓励大家始终进行祈祷，不可灰心，耶稣对他们讲了一个故事。
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
他说：“从前在一座城中有一个法官，不敬重上帝，也不关心其他人。
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
城里有一个寡妇常常来到他那里，对他说：‘求你为我的敌人给出公正评判！’
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
法官一开始并不想做这件事，但后来转念一想：‘虽然我不敬重上帝，也不关心其他人，
5 Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
但这寡妇太烦人，我就给她想要的判决吧，这样她就不会不断地来烦我了。’
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says.
主说：这是个不正义的法官，但听听他说的话。”
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
“你没发现吗？上帝所选的子民如果日夜向上帝哭求，上帝就会让其获得公道吗？上帝怎么会让他们等待呢？
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?
不会的，我告诉你们，他会很快主持正义。但人子到来之际，他在这世上还能找到信他的人吗？”
9 And he spoke this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
耶稣还向那些自诩正义、轻视他人的人讲了一个故事。
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
“有两个人到神庙祷告，一个是法利赛人，一个是税吏。
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank you, that I am not as other men are, extortionists, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
法利赛人站着为自己祷告：‘上帝啊，感谢你让我和其他人不一样，我不欺骗，不犯罪，不奸淫，甚至不像这个税吏。
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
我一个星期禁食两次，将收入的十分之一奉献给你。’
13 And the publican, standing far off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but stroke upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
但税吏站在远处，甚至不敢抬头看天，只是捶胸祷告：‘上帝啊，可怜我这个罪人！’
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be brought low; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.
我告诉你们吧，上帝会看到这税吏是正确的，但不会看到另一个人。因为高抬自己的人必会被贬低，保持谦卑的人必会被抬高。”
15 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
有人抱着婴孩来到耶稣面前，请他祝福。门徒见状就想要制止他们。
16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
耶稣却让他们把婴儿抱过来，说：“让小孩子到我这里来，不要制止他们，因为上帝之国就属于他们这样的人。
17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
实话告诉你们，如果不能像小孩子一样接受上帝之国，你就永远都无法走进。”
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
有一个长官来到耶稣面前，问他：“良善的老师，我做什么才可以获得永生？” (aiōnios g166)
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why call you me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
耶稣对他说：“你为何称我良善？除了上帝以外，无人为尊。
20 You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour your father and your mother.
你知道那条诫命讲着：不可奸淫，不可杀人，不可偷盗，不可作假证，当孝敬父母。”
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
那男人回答：“我从小就遵守这一切。”
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lack you one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unto the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
耶稣听了便说：“但你还少做了一件事：把你拥有的一切都卖掉，分给穷人，你就会在天国拥有财富，然后来跟从我。”
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
但那人听了这番话，立刻感到情绪低落，因为他非常富有。
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
耶稣见他这样的反应，就说：“富有之人要进上帝之国，很难！
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
有钱人进上帝之国，要比让骆驼穿过针眼还困难。”
26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
听到这番话，大家就问：“那谁可以获得拯救呢？”
27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
耶稣说：“人类做不到的，上帝却能。”
28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed you.
彼得说：“我们已舍弃所有跟从你！”
29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,
耶稣说：“实话告诉你们，人为了上帝之国放弃房屋、妻子、兄弟、父母或儿女，
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
耶稣把十二门徒带到一边，对他们说：“我们现在去耶路撒冷，先知所写的一切，即将在人子身上成真。
32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully pleaded, and spitted on:
他将被交给异族人，被嘲笑、被凌辱，人们会向他吐唾沫，
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
他们会鞭打他，然后杀害他，但他会在第三日复活。”
34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying (rhema) was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
但门徒们并不明白耶稣这番话的意思，没有理解这句话的真意。
35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
耶稣快走到耶利哥的时候，一个盲人坐在路旁乞讨。
36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
听见人群经过，他便问发生了什么事。
37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passes by.
众人告诉他，“拿撒勒人耶稣正从这里走过。”
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me.
于是他喊道：“大卫的子孙耶稣啊，可怜可怜我吧！”
39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, You son of David, have mercy on me.
走在前面的人制止他喊叫，让他保持安静，但他更大声地喊叫：“大卫的子孙，可怜我吧！”
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
耶稣停下来，让他们把盲人带过来。待他走近，耶稣就问他：
41 Saying, What will you that I shall do unto you? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
“你要我为你做什么？”盲人说：“主啊，求你让我看到！”
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive your sight: your faith has saved you.
耶稣说：“那就看见！你对我的信任，让你痊愈了。”
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
盲人立刻看见了，于是就跟随耶稣，赞颂上帝。众人见此也纷纷赞美上帝。
