< Hebrews 3 >

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Ie amy zao ry longo noro’e, mpitraok’ amy fikoihan-dindìñeio, haraharao t’Iesoà, Sorotà naho Mpisorom-Bey fitaroñan-tikañey,
2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
i nigahiñe amy nanendreañ’ azey hambañe amy figahiña’ i Mosè amy hene anjomba’eiy.
3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honour than the house.
F’ie vinolily hañeva àsiñe ambone’ i Mosè, hambañe ami’ty anaña’ ty mpandranjy traño àsiñe ambone’ i trañoy.
4 For every house is built by some man; but he that built all things is God.
Songa manañe ty mpandrafi’e ze anjomba, fa i Andrianañahare ty Mpamboatse ze he’e.
5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
Toe nigahiñe amy hene anjomba’ey t’i Mosè, ie nimpitoroñe nitaroñe o mbe ho tsaraeñeo.
6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Fa Anake mifehe’ i Anjomba’ey i Norizañey; itikañe o añanjomba’eo naho tambozoren-tika ty fahasibehañe naho fatokisañe osihe’ i fitamañey,
7 Wherefore (as the Holy Spirit (pneuma) says, To day if all of you will hear his voice,
ie anoe’ i Arofo Masiñey ty hoe: Anito, naho janji’ areo i fiarañanaña’ey,
8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
ko mampientetse arofo manahake tamy fanigihañe añ’andro fitsohañe an-dratraratra añey,
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
ie nisombean-droae’ areoy, naho namente vaho nahaisake o fitoloñako efa-polo taoñeo.
10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always go astray in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
Izay ty nibosehako ami’ty tariratse toy, le hoe raho, Mandifik’ añ’arofo ao nainai’e iereo, mbore tsy fohi’ iareo o lalakoo,
11 So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
Aa le nifantàko an-keloke t’ie tsy himoak’ amy fitofàkoy.
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Mitaoa ry longo, he te ho zoeñe ama’areo ty troke miola, mifañito aman’ Añahare veloñe.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Aa le mifañosiha boak’ andro, ampara’ i atao ty hoe Anitoy, tsy mone ama’ areo ty hampientere’ ty famañahian-kakeo.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;
Fa mpitrao-dova amy Norizañey tika naho vontitireñe i fifotoram-patokisañey ampara’ i hahenefañey,
15 While it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
amy ho tsaraeñe ty hoe: Anito, naho janji’ areo i fiarañanaña’ey ko mampientents’ arofo manahake tamy fanigihañey.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: nevertheless not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
Ty ila’e nahajanjiñe ro niola, fa tsy ze hene nampiavote’ Mose amy Egipte.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
Aa ia ty niviñera’e efa-polo taoñe? Tsy o nandilatseo hao? ie nihotrak’ an-dratraratra añe o lolo’ iareoo.
18 And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
Ia ka ty nifantà’e te tsy himoak’ amy fitofà’ey ao? toe o tsy niantokeo?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Aa le onin-tika te i tsy fatokisañey ty tsy niziliha’ iareo.
