< 2 Thessalonians 3 >

1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word (logos) of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Honka’e ry longo, mihalalia ho anay te hiboele masika ty tsara’ i Talè, naho ho rengeñe manahake te ama’ areo añe,
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
vaho t’ie ho votsorañe am’ondaty lo-tsereke naho tsivokatseo amy te tsy songa mpiato.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.
Fe migahiñe t’i Talè, ie ty hañoreñe naho hikalañe anahareo amy ratiy.
4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that all of you both do and will do the things which we command you.
Atokisa’ay amy Talè ao t’ie fa manao mbore hanoeñe o fandilia’aio.
5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love (agape) of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
Aa ehe te ho tehafe’ i Talè mb’ amy fikokoan’ Añaharey naho mb’amy figahiña’ i Norizañey ty arofo’ areo.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
Ie amy zao ry longo, lilie’ay ami’ty tahina’ i Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey, t’ie hisitake amy ze longo mañavelo an-kelokeloke, tsy amy fañòhañe rinambe’e ama’aiy.
7 For yourselves know how all of you ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
Fa fohi’ areo soa ty fitsikombeañ’ anay, ie tsy nikopiso,
8 Neither did we eat any man's bread for nothing; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
mbore tsy nikama ty mahakama’ ondaty tsy vinili’ay fe nitromake naho nifanehake handro an-kaleñe, tsy hampivavea’ay,
9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us.
tsy t’ie tsy nanandily, fe nanolo-batañe hitsikombea’ areo.
10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Ie mbe tama’ areo le nililie’ay ami’ty hoe: Ehe tsy hikama ty tsy mete mitoloñe.
11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
Fa tsinano’ay te ama’ areo ty tsy mahalie-batañe, tsy mitoloñe, fa mirañadrañake avao.
12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
Le hoe ty lilie’ay naho osihe’ay amy Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey o manao zaio: soa re te hitoloñe am-pianjiñañe naho hikama o azeo.
13 But all of you, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
Ie amy zao ry longo, ko milesa am-panoan-tsoa.
14 And if any man obey not our word (logos) by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
Aa naho eo ty tsy mañaoñe o enta’ay ami’ty taratasy toio, le rendreho vaho ko itraofañe, hisalara’e,
15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
f’ie ko anoe’ areo rafelahy, fa torò amy t’ie longo.
16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
I Talèm-pierañerañañey abey ro hampanintsiñe anahareo nainai’e amy ze sata-soa iaby. Ho ama’ areo abey t’i Talè.
17 The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
Ingo ty fañontanean-tañako, izaho Paoly, ty viloko amo taratasiko iabio, zao o sokikoo.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Ty hasoa’ i Talèn-tika Iesoà Norizañey ho ama’ areo iaby. Amena.
