1 Timothy 4
1 Now the Spirit (pneuma) speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, (pneuma) and doctrines of devils;

2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
boak’ ami’ty hasoa-fiatrefam-pandañitse, naho hoe sinodom-by mae o ereñeren-tro’ iareoo;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
ie mandrara fañengam-baly, vaho mandily te tsy kamaeñe ty mahakama nanoen’ Añahare ho rambese’ o matoky naho mahafohiñe ty hato am-pañandriañañeo.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
Hene soa ze namboaren’ Añahare, le tsy ao ty ho làneñe fa rambeseñe am-pañandriañañe,
5 For it is sanctified by the word (logos) of God and prayer.
ie fa neferañe amy Tsaran’ Añaharey naho an-kalaly.
6 If you put the brethren in remembrance of these things, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words (logos) of faith and of good doctrine, unto which you have attained.
Ie toroa’o aman-drolongo, le ho mpitoron-tsoa’ Iesoà Norizañey, finahañe an-tsaram-patokisañe naho amy fañòhañe do’e fañoriha’oy.
7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself rather unto godliness.
Fe ifoneño o talily borosode mañeva takàhon-drakembao, le mifanehafa ami’ty fañambenan-Kake.
8 For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Fa ndra te ahazoañe tombo’e kede o fampipoahañ’ ozatseo, mahasoa amy ze he’e ty fañorihan-Kake, ie minday fampitamàñe ami’ty haveloñe toy naho amy ho tendreke añey.
9 This is a faithful saying (logos) and worthy of all acceptation.
Inao ty tsara to, toe mañeva iantofañe:
10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
(toe ifanehafa’ay naho inozoha’ay), t’ie Miato aman-Añahare veloñe, Mpandrombake ze kila ondaty, sandrake o amam-patokisañeo.
11 These things command and teach.
Tseizo naho anaro i tsaraeñey.
12 Let no man despise your youth; but be you an example of the believers, in word, (logos) in conversation, in love, (agape) in spirit, (pneuma) in faith, in purity.
Ko apo’o ho mavoe’ ondaty ty hazatovo’o, fe anò ze hitsikombea’ o mpiatoo azo an-tsara naho fañaveloañe naho fikokoañe naho fatokisañe vaho halio-tahiñe.
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
Ampara’ te pok’eo iraho, imaneo famakiañe, fanoroañe, naho fañohañe.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
Ko ado’o i falalàñe ama’oy, i natolots’ azo am-petsem-pitoky am-panampezam-pità’ o androanavioy.
15 Meditate upon these things; give yourself wholly to them; that your profiting may appear to all.
Imaneo i raha rezay naho tsatsiho, soa te halange amy màroy ty firaoraòa’o.
16 Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you.
Mitaò ami’ty vata’o naho amo fañòha’oo. Itoloño, amy t’ie manao ro mandrombake ty vata’o naho o mijanjiñ’ azoo.
