1 Thessalonians 3
1 Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;
Kwa eyo, tubiole kuwa twaweza kwaa vumiliya muno, twatiwaza kuwa inoyite kubaki kolyo Athene twabene.
2 And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellow labourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
Tumtumile Timotheo, nongo witu na mtumishi wa Nnongo katika injili ya Kristo, kubaimarisha na kubafariji husiana na imani yinu.
3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
Tupangite aga ili kusudi kana abe yeyote ywalowa teteleka bokana na mateso aga, kwa mana mwabene mutangite panga tuyomwile saulilwa kwa ajili ya lee.
4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and all of you know.
Kwa kweli, muda patubile pamope ni mwenga, twatitangulia kuabakiya kuwa tubile papipi pata mateso, na ago yapangite kati mupangite.
5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.
Kwa sababu yee, panibile kuwa naweza kwaa vumulia kae, natimtuma ili kusudi nipate tanga nnani ya imani yinu. Huenda nchela abile angalau atiajaribu, na kazi yitu ikawa ni bure.
6 But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and love, (agape) and that all of you have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
Lakini Timotheo atiisa kwitu boka kwinu na atituletya twenga habari inoite nnani ya imani na upendo winu. Atubakiye kuwa mubile na kumbukumbu nzuri nnani yitu, na kuwa mwatamaniya kutubona kati ambavyo ni twenga twatamani kubabona mwenga.
7 Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
Kwa sababu yee, alongo twatifarijika muno na mwenga kwa sababu ya imani yinu, katika taabu na mateso yitu yote.
8 For now we live, if all of you stand fast in the Lord.
Nambeambe twatama, kati muyemi imara kwa Ngwana,
9 For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
Kwani ni shukrani ipi tumpeye Nnongo kwa ajili yinu, kwa puraha yote tubile nayo nnongi ya Nnongo nnani yinu?
10 Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
Twaloba muni kilo ni mutwekati ili tuweze kuibona minyo yinu na kubayongekeya sa kipongwile katika imani yinu.
11 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.
Nnongo witu na Tate mwene, na Tate witu Yesu atuongoze ndela tufike kwinu.
12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love (agape) one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
Na Ngwana awapange muyongeyekeye ni kuzidi katika lipendo, mupendane na kubapenda bandu bote, kati yatwabapenda mwenga.
13 To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
Na apange nyoo ili kuimarisha mioyo yinu bila lawama katika utakatifu nnongi ya Nnongo witu na Tate yitu katika ujio ba Ngwana Yesu pamope ni batakatifu bake bote.
