< 1 Thessalonians 3 >

1 Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;
Aa zahay tsy nahafifeake ka, le nilahatse t’ie hadoñe am-bangiñe Atena añe,
2 And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellow labourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
vaho nahitri’ay mb’ama’ areo mb’eo t’i Timoty, rahalahintika naho mpitoron’ Añahare amy talili-soa’ i Norizañeiy, hamente naho hañosike anahareo amy fatokisa’ areo,
3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
soa tsy ama’areo ty hembere’ o faloviloviañe zao; fe fohi’ areo te izay ty nanendreañ’ antika.
4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and all of you know.
Ie mbe tama’ areo ao le nitaroña’ay te fa antitotse ty hampisarerahañe an-tikañe; ie o oni’ areo te zoeñeo.
5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.
Ie amy zay, tsy nahafeake ka iraho, le nahitriko ty handrendreke ty fatokisa’ areo, hera nazi’ i mpañìnjey, vaho ho nilesa i fitoloña’aiy.
6 But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and love, (agape) and that all of you have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
Fa ie pok’ eo hirik’ ama’ areo t’i Timoty, le nitalilie’e soa o fatokisa’ areo naho i fikokoañey, vaho t’ie nainai’e mitiahy anahareo an-kasoa, mañiry hahaisake anay hambañe ami’ty fisalala’ay hahatrea anahareo.
7 Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
ie amy zao ry longo, amo faloviloviañe naho fanilofañe anaio fe nampanintsiñ’ anay ty fatokisa’ areo.
8 For now we live, if all of you stand fast in the Lord.
Velon-jahay henaneo, amy t’ie mijohañe amy Talè ao.
9 For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
Akore ty fañandriaña’ay an’ Andrianañahare hamale ty hafaleañe hirebeha’ay anahareo añatrefan’ Añaharen-tika,
10 Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
aa le mitolon-kalaly handro an-kalen-jahay hahaisake ty lahara’ areo, hañeneke ze tsy eneñe ami’ty fatokisa’ areo.
11 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.
I Andrianañahare Raentika vaho i Talèntika Iesoà abey ro hañavantañe ty lala’ay mb’ama’ areo añe;
12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love (agape) one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
naho hampitomboe’ i Talè nahareo naho o ila’e iabio hiraorao an-koko, hambañe ami’ty anay ho anahareo,
13 To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
hampijadoñe o arofo’ areoo tsy aman-tahy, miavake, añatrefan’ Añahare naho Raentikañe ami’ty fitotsaha’ i Talèntika Iesoà rekets’ o hene noro’eo.
