1 Peter 3
1 Likewise, all of you wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, (logos) they also may without the word (logos) be won by the conversation of the wives;

2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with (rhema) fear.

3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
Tsy ty fihaminañe alafe’e, naho ty firandranañe maròy naho ty firagoragoam-bolamena vaho ty fisaroñañe maviake,
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, (pneuma) which is in the sight of God of great price.
te mone indaty mikafitse an-trok’ aoy, hendre naho an-kamoràm-po tsy mete modo, zay ty fihaminan-tsarotse am-pivazohoan’ Añahare;
5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
ie ka ty fihamina’ o roakemba miavake taolo mpitamàn’ Añahareo, mpiandaly ami’ty vali’e;
6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters all of you are, as long as all of you do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
manahake ty niambanea’ i Sarahae amy Abraàme, nanao aze Talè; toe anak’ ampela’e t’ie mitolon-draha soa naho tsy ampitsolofìñen-kahembañañe.
7 Likewise, all of you husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Ry roandriañeo, mitraofa fimoneñe an-kahilala amo vali’ areoo, iasio hoe korobo mareforefo, ie mpitrao-dova amy falalàn-kaveloñey, soa tsy ho sebañeñe o halali’ areoo.
8 Finally, be all of you all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Hengaha’e, ehe songa hiharo rehake naho arofo, mifampikoko hoe mpilongo naho mifampitretrè vaho mifampilèn-troke,
9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that all of you are thereunto called, that all of you should inherit a blessing.

10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Aa: Ze misalala haveloñe, naho fikokoañe, hahaisahañe andro soa, tsy mete tsy mitañe ty famele’e amo haratiañeo naho o fivimbi’eo tsy hisaontsy famañahiañe;
11 Let him shun evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it.
tsy mahay tsy isitaha’e ty raty naho hanoe’e ty soa; hitsoeke fifampilongoañe vaho hañeañe aze.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Tolihem-pihaino’ Iehovà o vantañeo, naho janjiñen-dravembia’e o halali’ iareoo, fe atreatrè’ Iehovà an-daharañe o mpanao ratio.
13 And who is he that will harm you, if all of you be followers of that which is good?
Ia ty handilo kanao lozohe’areo ty hasoa?
14 But and if all of you suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are all of you: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
Fe, naho ampisoañeñe t’ie vantañe, mifalea le ko hembañe ami’ty fañembaña’ iareo vaho ko marimarike
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason (logos) of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
fe hamasiño i Norizañey ho Talè añ’arofo ao, nainai’e veka’e hanoiñe an-kamoràn-troke naho fiasiañe ndra iaia mañontane ty talim-pitamà’ areo,
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
le mifahara ami’ty hazavan-troke, soa t’ie fosañe hoe mpanao raty, le ho salatse o mañonjitse ty fañaveloa’ areo amy Norizañeio.
17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that all of you suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
Ie satrin’ Añahare, hàmake te hijale am-panoan-tsoa ta te am-panoan-draty.
18 For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: (pneuma)

19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits (pneuma) in prison;

20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure unto which even baptism does also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, ) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
i am-pitàn-kavanan’ Añaharey; ie fa nizilik’ an-dikerañe ao naho nampiambanèñe ama’e o anjelio naho o fifelehañeo vaho o haozarañeo.
