John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
सुरूवात म शब्द होतो, अऊर शब्द परमेश्वर को संग होतो, अऊर शब्द परमेश्वर होतो।
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
योच शब्द सुरूवात सीच परमेश्वर को संग होतो।
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
अऊर सब कुछ ओको द्वारा पैदा भयो, अऊर जो कुछ पैदा भयो हय ओको म सी कोयी भी चिज ओको बिना नहीं भयी।
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
शब्द जीवन को स्त्रोत होतो अऊर यो जीवन म आदमियों लायी प्रकाश लायो।
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
प्रकाश अन्धारो म चमकय हय, अऊर अन्धारो ओख हराय नहीं सकय।
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
परमेश्वर को तरफ सी एक सन्देश लावन वालो ख भेज्यो जेको नाम यूहन्ना होतो।
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
ऊ प्रकाश की गवाही देन आयो, ताकि सब लोग ओको सन्देश सुन क विश्वास करे।
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
ऊ खुदच त प्रकाश नहीं होतो, पर ऊ प्रकाश की गवाही देन लायी आयो होतो।
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
यो सच्चो प्रकाश हय जो हर एक आदमी ख प्रकाशित करय हय, जो जगत म आवन वालो होतो।
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
ऊ शब्द जगत म होतो, अऊर तब भी परमेश्वर न ओको द्वारा जगत बनायो, फिर भी जगत न ओख नहीं पहिचान्यो।
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
ऊ अपनो खुद को लोगों को जवर आयो पर ओको अपनो लोगों न ओख स्वीकार नहीं करयो।
12 But as many as accepted him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
पर जितनो न ओख स्वीकार करयो, मतलब उन्ख जो ओको नाम पर विश्वास रखय हय, ओन उन्ख परमेश्वर की सन्तान होन को अधिकार दियो।
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
हि नहीं त स्वाभाविक तरीका सी परमेश्वर की सन्तान बने मतलब मानविय बाप सी नहीं जनम्यो बल्की परमेश्वर खुद ओको बाप होतो।
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth.
अऊर वचन शरीर रूप धारन करयो; अऊर अनुग्रह अऊर सच्चायी सी परिपूर्ण होय क हमरो बीच म जीवन जियो, अऊर हम न ओकी असी महिमा देखी, जसो बाप को एकलौतो बेटा की।
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
यूहन्ना न ओको बारे म गवाही दी, अऊर पुकार क कह्यो, “यो उच आय, जेको मय न वर्नन करयो कि जो मोरो बाद आय रह्यो हय, ऊ मोरो सी बढ़ क हय कहालीकि ऊ मोरो जनम सी पहिले होतो।”
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
कहालीकि परमेश्वर न अनुग्रह की परिपूर्णता सी हम्ख आशिषित करयो मतलब आशिषों सी भरपूर करयो।
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
येकोलायी कि व्यवस्था त मूसा को द्वारा दी गयी, पर अनुग्रह अऊर सच्चायी यीशु मसीह को द्वारा आयी।
18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
परमेश्वर ख कोयी न कभी नहीं देख्यो। एकलौतो बेटा, जो परमेश्वर को बराबर हय अऊर बाप को बाजू म बैठ्यो हय, उच बेटा पर परमेश्वर न अपनो आप ख प्रगट करयो।
19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
यूहन्ना को सन्देश यो आय, कि जब यहूदी अधिकारियों न यरूशलेम सी याजकों अऊर लेवियों ख ओको सी यो पूछन लायी भेज्यो, “तय कौन आय?”
20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.
यूहन्ना न उत्तर देन लायी इन्कार नहीं करयो, पर ओन स्पष्टता अऊर खुल क मान लियो, “मय मसीह नोहोय।”
21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
तब उन्न ओको सी पुच्छ्यो, “फिर तय कौन आय? का तय एलिय्याह आय?” ओन कह्यो, “मय नोहोय। त का तय ऊ भविष्यवक्ता आय?” ओन उत्तर दियो, “नहीं।”
22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
तब उन्न ओको सी पुच्छ्यो, “फिर तय कौन आय? ताकि हम अपनो भेजन वालो ख उत्तर देबो। तय अपनो बारे म का कह्य हय?”
23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah.
यूहन्ना न कह्यो, “जसो यशायाह भविष्यवक्ता न कह्यो हय: ‘मय जंगल म एक पुकारन वालो को आवाज आय कि तुम प्रभु को रस्ता सीधो करो।’”
24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.
हि सन्देश देन वालो जो फरीसियों को तरफ सी भेज्यो गयो होतो।
25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elijah, neither that prophet?
उन्न यूहन्ना सी यो प्रश्न पुच्छ्यो, “यदि तय मसीह नोहोय, अऊर नहीं एलिय्याह, अऊर नहीं ऊ भविष्यवक्ता आय, त फिर बपतिस्मा कहाली देवय हय?”
26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
यूहन्ना न उन्ख उत्तर दियो, “मय त पानी सी बपतिस्मा देऊ हय, पर तुम्हरो बीच म एक आदमी खड़ो हय जेक तुम नहीं जानय।
27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
यानेकि मोरो बाद ऊ आवन वालो हय, पर मय ओको चप्पल को बन्ध खोलन लायक नहाय।”
28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
या बाते यरदन नदी को पार बैतनिय्याह नगर म भयी, जित यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देत होतो।
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
दूसरों दिन ओन यीशु ख अपनो तरफ आवतो देख क कह्यो, “देखो, यो परमेश्वर को मेम्ना आय जो जगत को पाप उठाय लिजावय हय।
30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
यो उच आय जेको बारे म मय न कह्यो होतो, ‘एक आदमी मोरो पीछू आवय हय जो मोरो सी महान हय, कहालीकि ऊ मोरो सी पहिले अस्तित्व म होतो।’
31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
मोख मालूम नहीं होतो ऊ कौन आय, पर येकोलायी मय पानी सी बपतिस्मा देतो हुयो आयो कि ऊ इस्राएल पर प्रगट होय जाय।”
32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
अऊर यूहन्ना न या गवाही दी: “मय न पवित्र आत्मा ख कबूत्तर को जसो स्वर्ग सी उतरतो देख्यो हय, अऊर ऊ ओको पर ठहर गयो।
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
मोख अभी भी मालूम नहीं होतो, पर ऊ एक होतो परमेश्वर, जेन मोख पानी सी बपतिस्मा देन ख भेज्यो, ओनच मोरो सी कह्यो, ‘जेको पर तय आत्मा ख उतरतो अऊर ठहरतो देखो, उच पवित्र आत्मा सी बपतिस्मा देन वालो आय।’
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
अऊर मय न देख्यो, अऊर गवाही देऊ हय कि योच परमेश्वर को टुरा आय।”
35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;
दूसरों दिन फिर यूहन्ना अऊर ओको चेला म सी दोय लोग खड़ो भयो होतो,
36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
जब यीशु जो जाय रह्यो होतो, देख क कह्यो, “देखो, यो परमेश्वर को मेम्ना आय।”
37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
तब हि दोयी चेला ओकी यो सुन क यीशु को पीछू चली गयो।
38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, ( which is to say, being interpreted, Master, ) where dwellest thou?
यीशु न मुड़ क उन्ख पीछू आवतो देख्यो अऊर उन्को सी कह्यो, “तुम कौन की खोज म हय?” उन्न ओको सी कह्यो, “हे रब्बी यानेकि हे गुरु, तय कित रह्य हय?”
39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
यीशु न उन्को सी कह्यो, “आवो, अऊर देखो।” तब उन्न जाय क ओकी रहन की जागा देखी, अऊर ऊ दिन ओको संग रह्यो। लगभग शाम को चार बज्यो होतो।
40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
यूहन्ना की बात सुन क यीशु को पीछू जान वालो म सी एक जो शिमोन पतरस को भाऊ अन्द्रियास होतो।
41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
ओन पहिले अपनो सगो भाऊ शिमोन सी मिल क ओको सी कह्यो, “हम ख मसीहा, मतलब ख्रिस्त, मिल गयो।”
42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jonah: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
हि ओख यीशु को जवर लायो। यीशु न ओख देख क कह्यो, “तय यूहन्ना को टुरा शिमोन आय: तय कैफा कहलाजो। मतलब पतरस जेको अर्थ चट्टान आय।”
43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
दूसरों दिन यीशु न गलील ख जान को निश्चय करयो। ऊ फिलिप्पुस सी मिल्यो अऊर कह्यो, “मोरो संग आव।”
44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
फिलिप्पुस, यो अन्द्रियास अऊर पतरस को नगर बैतसैदा को निवासी होतो।
45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
फिलिप्पुस नतनएल सी मिल्यो अऊर ओको सी कह्यो, “जेको वर्नन मूसा न व्यवस्था म अऊर भविष्यवक्तावों न करयो हय, ऊ हम्ख मिल गयो; ऊ यूसुफ को टुरा, यीशु नासरत नगर सी आय।”
46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
नतनएल न ओको सी कह्यो, “का कोयी अच्छी चिज नासरत सी निकल सकय हय?” फिलिप्पुस न ओको सी कह्यो, “चल क देख ले।”
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
यीशु न नतनएल ख अपनो तरफ आवता देख क ओको बारे म कह्यो, “देखो, यो सच्चो इस्राएली आय; येको म कोयी कपट नहाय!”
48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
नतनएल न ओको सी कह्यो, “तय मोख कसो जानय हय?” यीशु न ओख उत्तर दियो, “येको सी पहिले कि फिलिप्पुस न तोख बुलायो, जब तय अंजीर को झाड़ को खल्लो होतो, तब मय न तोख देख्यो होतो।”
49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
नतनएल न ओख उत्तर दियो, “हे गुरु, तय परमेश्वर को बेटा आय; तय इस्राएल को राजा आय।”
50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
यीशु न ओख उत्तर दियो, “मय न जो तोरो सी कह्यो कि मय न तोख अंजीर को झाड़ को खल्लो देख्यो, का तय येकोलायी विश्वास करय हय? तय येको सी भी बड़ो-बड़ो काम देखजो।”
51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
फिर ओको सी कह्यो, “मय तुम सी सच सच कहू हय कि तुम स्वर्ग ख खुल्यो हुयो, अऊर परमेश्वर को स्वर्गदूतों ख आदमी को बेटा को ऊपर उतरतो अऊर ऊपर जातो देखो।”
