Psalms 29

1 Give unto YHWH, O ye mighty, give unto YHWH glory and strength.

The salm, ethir song of Dauid. Ye sones of God, brynge to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord the sones of rammes.

2 Give unto YHWH the glory due unto his name; worship YHWH in the beauty of holiness.

Brynge ye to the Lord glorie and onour; brynge ye to the Lord glorie to his name; herie ye the Lord in his hooli large place.

3 The voice of YHWH is upon the waters: the El of glory thundereth: YHWH is upon many waters.

The vois of the Lord on watris, God of mageste thundride; the Lord on many watris.

4 The voice of YHWH is powerful; the voice of YHWH is full of majesty.

The vois of the Lord in vertu; the vois of the Lord in greet doyng.

5 The voice of YHWH breaketh the cedars; yea, YHWH breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

The vois of the Lord brekynge cedris; and the Lord schal breke the cedris of the Liban.

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

And he schal al to-breke hem to dust as a calf of the Liban; and the derling was as the sone of an vnycorn.

7 The voice of YHWH divideth the flames of fire.

The vois of the Lord departynge the flawme of fier;

8 The voice of YHWH shaketh the wilderness; YHWH shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

the vois of the Lord schakynge desert; and the Lord schal stire togidere the desert of Cades.

9 The voice of YHWH maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

The vois of the Lord makynge redi hertis, and he schal schewe thicke thingis; and in his temple alle men schulen seie glorie.

10 YHWH sitteth upon the flood; yea, YHWH sitteth King for ever.

The Lord makith to enhabite the greet flood; and the Lord schal sitte kyng with outen ende.

11 YHWH will give strength unto his people; YHWH will bless his people with peace.

The Lord schal yyue vertu to his puple; the Lord schal blesse his puple in pees.
