Psalms 120

1 In my distress I cried unto YHWH, and he heard me.

೧ಯಾತ್ರಾಗೀತೆ. ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟೆನು; ಆತನು ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು.

2 Deliver my soul, O YHWH, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

೨ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಸುಳ್ಳು ಬಾಯಿಯೂ, ವಂಚಿಸುವ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಉಳ್ಳವರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು.

3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

೩ವಂಚಿಸುವ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೇನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು? ಯಾವ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು?

4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

೪ಶೂರನ ಹದವಾದ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಜಾಲಿಯ ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವರು.

5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

೫ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನಾನು ಮೇಷೆಕಿನವರಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಬೇಕಲ್ಲಾ! ಕೇದಾರಿನವರ ಪಾಳೆಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ!

6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

೬ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರೊಳಗೆ, ಇದ್ದು ಇದ್ದು ಸಾಕಾಯಿತು.

7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

೭ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಪ್ರಿಯನು; ಅವರೋ, ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
