Psalms 115

1 Not unto us, O YHWH, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

Nie nam, PANIE, nie nam, ale twemu imieniu daj chwałę za twoje miłosierdzie [i] prawdę.

2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their Elohim?

Czemu mają mówić poganie: Gdzież teraz [jest] ich Bóg?

3 But our Elohim is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

A nasz Bóg [jest] w niebie, czyni wszystko, co zechce.

4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

Ich bożki [to] srebro i złoto, dzieło rąk ludzkich.

5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

Usta mają, ale nie mówią; mają oczy, ale nie widzą.

6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

Uszy mają, ale nie słyszą; mają nozdrza, ale nie czują.

7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

Ręce mają, ale nie dotykają; mają nogi, ale nie chodzą; ani gardłem swoim nie wydają głosu.

8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

Niech będą do nich podobni ci, którzy je robią, [i] wszyscy, którzy im ufają.

9 O Israel, trust thou in YHWH: he is their help and their shield.

Izraelu, ufaj PANU; on jest ich pomocą i tarczą.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in YHWH: he is their help and their shield.

Domu Aarona, ufaj PANU; on jest ich pomocą i tarczą.

11 Ye that fear YHWH, trust in YHWH: he is their help and their shield.

Wy, którzy się boicie PANA, ufajcie PANU; on jest ich pomocą i tarczą.

12 YHWH hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

PAN pamięta o nas, będzie błogosławił; będzie błogosławił domowi Izraela, będzie błogosławił domowi Aarona.

13 He will bless them that fear YHWH, both small and great.

Będzie błogosławił tym, którzy boją się PANA, i małym, i wielkim.

14 YHWH shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

Rozmnoży was PAN, was i waszych synów.

15 Ye are blessed of YHWH which made heaven and earth.

Błogosławieni jesteście przez PANA, który stworzył niebo i ziemię.

16 The heaven, even the heavens, are YHWH 's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Niebiosa są niebiosami PANA, ale ziemię dał synom ludzkim.

17 The dead praise not YHWH, neither any that go down into silence.

Umarli nie będą chwalili PANA ani nikt z tych, którzy zstępują do [miejsca] milczenia.

18 But we will bless YAH from this time forth and for evermore. Praise YHWH.

Ale my będziemy błogosławili PANA, odtąd aż na wieki. Alleluja.
