Numbers 16
1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
೧ಆಗ ಲೇವಿಯನ ಮರಿಮಗನೂ, ಕೆಹಾತನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ, ಇಚ್ಚಾರನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಕೋರಹನು ಮತ್ತು ರೂಬೇನ್ ಕುಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲೀಯಾಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ದಾತಾನನೂ, ಅಬೀರಾಮನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪೆಲೆತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಓನನೂ, ಕೆಲವು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು.
2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
೨ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮೂಹದವರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರೂ, ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಇನ್ನೂರೈವತ್ತು ಜನರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟಿಸಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು.
3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and YHWH is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of YHWH?
೩ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಈ ಸಮೂಹದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತನಾದವನು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಏಕೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
೪ಮೋಶೆ ಆ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬೋರಲುಬಿದ್ದನು.
5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow YHWH will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
೫ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕೋರಹನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗೂ, “ತನ್ನವರು ಯಾರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಾಳೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವನು. ಯಾರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೋ, ಯಾರನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಗೊಡಿಸುವನು.
6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
೬ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಕೋರಹನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು,
7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before YHWH to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom YHWH doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
೭ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ನಾಳೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವನೋ ಅವನೇ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ. ಲೇವಿಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವರ್ತನೆ ಅತಿಯಾಯಿತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
೮ಪುನಃ ಮೋಶೆ ಕೋರಹನಿಗೆ, “ಲೇವಿಯ ಸಂತಾನದವರೇ, ಈಗ ಕೇಳಿರಿ,
9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the Elohim of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of YHWH, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
೯ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸೇವಾಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಸಮೂಹದವರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಲ್ಪವಾಗಿ ತೋರುತ್ತದೋ?
10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
೧೦ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಕುಲದವರಾದ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀವು ಸಹ ಯಾಜಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಿರೋ?
11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against YHWH: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
೧೧ನೀನು ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರಿ, ನನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಆರೋನನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಗುಣಗುಟ್ಟುವುದೇಕೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
೧೨ಮೋಶೆಯು, ಎಲೀಯಾಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ದಾತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀರಾಮರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಹೇಳಿದರು ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
೧೩ನೀನು ಹಾಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯಿಸುವುದು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಾಕಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತಿಯೋ?
14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
೧೪ಅಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ನೀನು ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಈ ಜನರ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಮಣ್ಣು ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೀಯೋ? ನಾವು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto YHWH, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
೧೫ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬಹಳ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಅವರ ನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ನಾನು ಅವರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡವನಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗಾದರೂ ಹಾನಿ ಮಾಡಿದವನಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಮನವಿಮಾಡಿದನು.
16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before YHWH, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
೧೬ಮೋಶೆ ಕೋರಹನಿಗೆ, “ನಾಳೆ ನೀನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನನೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕು.
17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before YHWH every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
೧೭ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತನ್ನ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನೂರೈವತ್ತು ಧೂಪಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀನು ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
೧೮ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಧೂಪದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡರು.
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of YHWH appeared unto all the congregation.
೧೯ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೋರಹನು ತಮಗೆ ಎದುರಾದ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರನ್ನು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.
20 And YHWH spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
೨೦ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
೨೧“ನೀವು ಈ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಇವರನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O Elohim, the El of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
೨೨ಅವರು ಬೋರಲುಬಿದ್ದು, “ದೇವರೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಆತ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವವನೇ, ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷಿಯಾದವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಆಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದೋ?” ಎಂದು ಬಿನ್ನೈಸಿದನು.
23 And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,
೨೩ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
೨೪“ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಕೋರಹ, ದಾತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀರಾಮರ ಗುಡಾರದಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಬೇಕು’ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
೨೫ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಎದ್ದು ದಾತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀರಾಮರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.
26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
೨೬ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಈ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಡೇರೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದೆ ದೂರ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು; ಇವರ ಸೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು; ಇವರ ದೋಷಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದೀತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
27 So they got up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
೨೭ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೋರಹ, ದಾತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀರಾಮರ ಗುಡಾರದಿಂದ ದೂರ ಹೋದರು. ದಾತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀರಾಮರೂ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡರು.
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that YHWH hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
೨೮ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ, “ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನೆಂದೂ ನೀವೇ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then YHWH hath not sent me.
೨೯ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಾಯುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇವರು ಸತ್ತರೆ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವ ಗತಿ ಇವರಿಗುಂಟಾದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
30 But if YHWH make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked YHWH. (Sheol h7585)
೩೦ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ಇವರನ್ನೂ, ಇವರ ಸರ್ವಸ್ವವನ್ನೂ ನುಂಗಿ, ಇವರು ಸಜೀವಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ, ಇವರು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದವರೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. (Sheol h7585)
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
೩೧ಮೋಶೆ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೆಳಗಿದ್ದ ನೆಲವು ಸೀಳಿತು.
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
೩೨ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ಅವರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋರಹನಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಸರ್ವಸ್ವವನ್ನೂ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. (Sheol h7585)
೩೩ಅವರು ಸಜೀವಿಗಳಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ವಸ್ವ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಸಮೂಹದವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾದರು. (Sheol h7585)
34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
೩೪ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿದ್ದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೆದರಿಕೊಂಡು, “ಭೂಮಿಯು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟೀತು!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
35 And there came out a fire from YHWH, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
೩೫ನಂತರ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂಕಿಹೊರಟು, ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ಇನ್ನೂರೈವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
36 And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,
೩೬ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ
37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
೩೭“ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನಿಗೆ, ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ದಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ಆ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರ ಚೆಲ್ಲು.
38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before YHWH, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
೩೮ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಆ ದೋಷಿಗಳ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ತಂದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಗಡುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಳವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಅವು ಗುರುತುಗಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
೩೯ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೇಳಿದ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದಹಿಸಿಹೋದವರು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಆ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಗಡುಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದನು.
40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before YHWH; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as YHWH said to him by the hand of Moses.
೪೦ಆರೋನನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರದ ಬೇರೆ ಜನರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು. ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಕೋರಹನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗೂ ಆದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯೇ ಇವರಿಗೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರುತಾಯಿತು.
41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of YHWH.
೪೧ಮರುದಿನ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿ, “ನೀವೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಾಯಿಸಿದಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವವರಾದರು.
42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of YHWH appeared.
೪೨ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಮೇಘವು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.
43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
೪೩ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮುಂಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.
44 And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,
೪೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
೪೫“ನೀವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಮೂಹದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದೆ ಬೇರೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರು ಬೋರಲುಬಿದ್ದರು.
46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from YHWH; the plague is begun.
೪೬ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆರೋನನಿಗೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಈ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಘೋರವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ನೀನು ಧೂಪಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯಿಂದ ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ, ಸಮೂಹದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಗ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
೪೭ಮೋಶೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಆರೋನನು ಧೂಪಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಮೂಹದವರ ಮಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿದಾಗ ಘೋರವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
೪೮ಅವನು ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೂ, ಬದುಕುವವರಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡುದರಿಂದ ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಶಮನವಾಯಿತು.
49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
೪೯ಕೋರಹನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದವರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ತವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳುನೂರು ಮಂದಿ.
50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.
೫೦ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ಶಮನವಾದಾಗ ಆರೋನನು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದನು.
