Matthew 16
1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
௧பரிசேயர்களும், சதுசேயர்களும் அவரைச் சோதிக்கும்படி அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு அடையாளத்தைத் தங்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
௨அவர்களுக்கு அவர் மறுமொழியாக: மாலைநேரமாகிறபோது செவ்வானமிட்டிருக்கிறது, அதினால் அமைதியாக இருக்கும் என்று சொல்லுகிறீர்கள்.
3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
௩உதயமாகிறபோது, செவ்வானமும் மந்தாரமுமாக இருக்கிறது, அதினால் இன்றைக்குக் காற்றும் மழையும் உண்டாகும் என்று சொல்லுகிறீர்கள். மாயக்காரர்களே, வானத்தின் தோற்றத்தை நிதானிக்க உங்களுக்குத் தெரியுமே, காலங்களின் அடையாளங்களை நிதானிக்க உங்களால் கூடாதா?
4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
௪இந்தப் பொல்லாத விபசார சந்ததியார் அடையாளம் தேடுகிறார்கள்; யோனா தீர்க்கதரிசியின் அடையாளமேதவிர வேறு அடையாளம் இவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று சொல்லி, அவர்களைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்.
5 And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
௫அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அக்கரையைச் சேர்ந்தபோது, அப்பங்களைக் கொண்டுவர மறந்துபோனார்கள்.
6 Then Yahushua said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
௬இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: பரிசேயர்கள் சதுசேயர்கள் என்பவர்களின் புளித்த மாவைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள் என்றார்.
7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
௭நாம் அப்பங்களைக் கொண்டுவராததினால் இப்படிச் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று அவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள்ளே யோசனைபண்ணிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
8 Which when Yahushua perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
௮இயேசு அதை அறிந்து: விசுவாசக்குறைவுள்ளவர்களே, அப்பங்களைக் கொண்டுவராததைக்குறித்து நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குள்ளே யோசனைபண்ணுகிறதென்ன?
9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
௯இன்னும் நீங்கள் உணரவில்லையா? ஐந்து அப்பங்களை ஐயாயிரம்பேருக்குப் பகிர்ந்ததையும், மீதியானதை எத்தனைக் கூடைகள்நிறைய எடுத்தீர்கள் என்பதையும்;
10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
௧0ஏழு அப்பங்களை நாலாயிரம் பேருக்குப் பகிர்ந்ததையும், மீதியானதை எத்தனை கூடைகள்நிறைய எடுத்தீர்கள் என்பதையும் நீங்கள் நினைவுகூராமலிருக்கிறீர்களா?
11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
௧௧பரிசேயர்கள் சதுசேயர்கள் என்பவர்களின் புளித்த மாவிற்கு எச்சரிக்கையாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று நான் சொன்னது அப்பத்தைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லவில்லை என்று நீங்கள் உணராதிருக்கிறது எப்படி என்றார்.
12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
௧௨அப்பொழுது, அவர் அப்பத்தின் புளித்த மாவைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாக இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று சொல்லாமல், பரிசேயர்கள் சதுசேயர்கள் என்பவர்களின் உபதேசத்தைக்குறித்தே அப்படிச் சொன்னார் என்று அறிந்துகொண்டார்கள்.
13 When Yahushua came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
௧௩பின்பு, இயேசு பிலிப்பு செசரியாவின் பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, தம்முடைய சீடர்களைப் பார்த்து: மனிதகுமாரனாகிய என்னை மக்கள் யார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள் என்று கேட்டார்.
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, EliYah; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
௧௪அதற்கு அவர்கள்: சிலர் உம்மை யோவான்ஸ்நானன் என்றும், சிலர் எலியா என்றும்; வேறுசிலர் எரேமியா அல்லது தீர்க்கதரிசிகளில் ஒருவர் என்றும் சொல்லுகிறார்கள் என்றார்கள்.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
௧௫அப்பொழுது அவர்: நீங்கள் என்னை யார் என்று சொல்லுகிறீர்கள் என்று கேட்டார்.
16 And Simon Kepha answered and said, Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim.
௧௬சீமோன்பேதுரு மறுமொழியாக: நீர் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து என்றான்.
17 And Yahushua answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
௧௭இயேசு அவனைப் பார்த்து: யோனாவின் குமாரனாகிய சீமோனே, நீ பாக்கியவான்; மாம்சமும் இரத்தமும் இதை உனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தவில்லை, பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதா இதை உனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினார்.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Kepha, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Hadēs g86)
௧௮மேலும், நான் உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன், நீ பேதுருவாய் இருக்கிறாய், இந்தக் கல்லின்மேல் என் சபையைக் கட்டுவேன்; பாதாளத்தின் வாசல்கள் அதை மேற்கொள்வதில்லை. (Hadēs g86)
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
௧௯பரலோகராஜ்யத்தின் திறவுகோல்களை நான் உனக்குத் தருவேன்; பூலோகத்திலே நீ கட்டுகிறது எதுவோ அது பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கும், பூலோகத்திலே நீ கட்டவிழ்ப்பது எதுவோ அது பரலோகத்திலும் கட்டவிழ்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் என்றார்.
20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Yahushua the Messiah.
௨0அப்பொழுது, தாம் கிறிஸ்துவாகிய இயேசு என்று ஒருவருக்கும் சொல்லாதபடிக்குத் தம்முடைய சீடர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.
21 From that time forth began Yahushua to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
௨௧அதுமுதல் இயேசு, தாம் எருசலேமுக்குப்போய், மூப்பர்களாலும் பிரதான ஆசாரியர்களாலும், வேதபண்டிதர்களாலும் பல பாடுகள்பட்டு, கொலையுண்டு, மூன்றாம்நாளில் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதைத் தம்முடைய சீடர்களுக்குச் சொல்லத்தொடங்கினார்.
22 Then Kepha took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, my master: this shall not be unto thee.
௨௨அப்பொழுது, பேதுரு அவரைத் தனியே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய்: ஆண்டவரே, இது உமக்கு சம்பவிக்கக்கூடாதே, இது உமக்குச் சம்பவிப்பதில்லை என்று அவரைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளத்தொடங்கினான்.
23 But he turned, and said unto Kepha, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of Elohim, but those that be of men.
௨௩அவரோ திரும்பி, பேதுருவைப் பார்த்து: எனக்குப் பின்னாகப்போ, சாத்தானே, நீ எனக்கு இடறலாக இருக்கிறாய்; தேவனுக்குரியவைகளைச் சிந்திக்காமல் மனிதர்களுக்குரியவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறாய் என்றார்.
24 Then said Yahushua unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
௨௪அப்பொழுது, இயேசு தம்முடைய சீடர்களைப் பார்த்து: ஒருவன் என்னைப் பின்பற்றிவரவிரும்பினால், அவன் தன்னைத்தான் வெறுத்து, தன் சிலுவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு என்னைப் பின்பற்றவேண்டும்.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
௨௫தன் ஜீவனை இரட்சிக்க விரும்புகிறவன் அதை இழந்துபோவான்; என்னிமித்தமாகத் தன் ஜீவனை இழந்துபோகிறவன் அதைக் கண்டடைவான்.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
௨௬மனிதன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனிதன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு இணையாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
௨௭மனிதகுமாரன் தம்முடைய பிதாவின் மகிமை பொருந்தினவராகத் தம்முடைய தூதர்களோடு வருவார்; அப்பொழுது, அவனவன் செயல்களுக்குத்தக்கதாக அவனவனுக்குப் பலனளிப்பார்.
28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
௨௮இங்கே நிற்கிறவர்களில் சிலர் மனிதகுமாரன் தம்முடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் வருவதைக் காண்பதற்குமுன், மரணத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று, உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
