Judges 10
1 And after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim.
೧ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನ ಮರಣದ ತರುವಾಯ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್ ಕುಲದ ಪೂವನ ಮಗನೂ, ದೋದೋವಿನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ತೋಲನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಎದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಶಾಮೀರೆಂಬ ಊರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
2 And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.
೨ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ, ಅವನು ಸತ್ತು ಶಾಮೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
3 And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years.
೩ತೋಲನ ಮರಣದ ತರುವಾಯ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ಯನಾದ ಯಾಯೀರನು ಎದ್ದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
4 And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havoth-jair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead.
೪ಇವನಿಗೆ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಸವಾರಿ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳೂ, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಊರುಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಯಾಯೀರನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿದೆ.
5 And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.
೫ಯಾಯೀರನು ಸತ್ತು ಕಾಮೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
6 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of YHWH, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the elohim of Syria, and the elohim of Zidon, and the elohim of Moab, and the elohim of the children of Ammon, and the elohim of the Philistines, and forsook YHWH, and served not him.
೬ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಪುನಃ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾದರು. ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಾಳ್, ಅಷ್ಟೋರೆತ್ ಎಂಬ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು, ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರು, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು, ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಇವರ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪೂಜಿಸತೊಡಗಿದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟೇಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
7 And the anger of YHWH was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.
೭ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
8 And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
೮ಇವರು ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಪೀಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು. ಈ ದೇಶವು ಮೊದಲು ಅಮೋರಿಯರದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
9 Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.
೯ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ಹೊಳೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ, ಯೆಹೂದ, ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಕುಲಗಳೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು.
10 And the children of Israel cried unto YHWH, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our Elohim, and also served Baalim.
೧೦ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಬಾಳನ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು.
11 And YHWH said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
೧೧ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಐಗುಪ್ತ, ಅಮೋರಿಯ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯ, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯ, ಚೀದೋನ್ಯ, ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯ, ಮಾವೋನ್ಯ ಇವೇ
12 The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.
೧೨ಮೊದಲಾದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪೀಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಅವರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದರೂ
13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other elohim: wherefore I will deliver you no more.
೧೩ನೀವು ಪುನಃ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರಿ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
14 Go and cry unto the elohim which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
೧೪ಹೋಗಿ, ನೀವು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಿರಿ; ಅವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲಿ” ಅಂದನು.
15 And the children of Israel said unto YHWH, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.
೧೫ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ನಿನಗೆ ಸರಿಕಾಣುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಮಗೆ ಮಾಡು; ಆದರೆ ಈ ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಗೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವವರಾದರು.
16 And they put away the strange elohim from among them, and served YHWH: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
೧೬ಆಗ ಆತನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಂಕಟದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ನೊಂದಿತು.
17 Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.
೧೭ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು ದಂಡೆತ್ತಿ ಬಂದು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಸೇರಿ ಮಿಚ್ಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಳೆಯಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
18 And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
೧೮ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಜನರೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ, “ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಹಾಕುವವನು ಯಾರು? ಅಂಥವನನ್ನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆವು” ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
