Isaiah 66
1 Thus saith YHWH, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ: “ಆಕಾಶವು ನನಗೆ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ನನಗೆ ಪಾದಪೀಠ. ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಇನ್ನೆಂಥಾ, ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಡುವಿರಿ? ನನ್ನ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಎಂಥದು?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and those things have been, saith YHWH: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
೨ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೇ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿತು, ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೇ ಇವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉಂಟಾದವು. ನಾನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನು ಎಂಥವನೆಂದರೆ ದೀನನೂ, ಮನಮುರಿದವನೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವವನೇ.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
೩ಹೋರಿಯನ್ನು ವಧಿಸುವವನು ನರಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುವವನು ನಾಯಿಯ ಕತ್ತನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನೈವೇದ್ಯಮಾಡುವವನು ಹಂದಿಯ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಧೂಪಹಾಕುವವನು ವಿಗ್ರಹಾರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಇವರು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ;
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
೪ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಾನು ಇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕುತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಇವರು ಅಂಜುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವಿಪತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಕೂಗಿದಾಗ ಯಾರೂ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಇವರು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.”
5 Hear the word of YHWH, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let YHWH be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರೇ, ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ! ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಗಳು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಲಿ, ನಿಮಗಾಗುವ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ನೋಡೋಣ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ; ಅವರಿಗಂತು ಅವಮಾನವಾಗುವುದು.
6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of YHWH that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
೬ಇಗೋ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಗದ್ದಲದ ಶಬ್ದ! ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಬ್ದ! ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವ ಶಬ್ದ!
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
೭ಆಹಾ, ಬೇನೆ ತಿನ್ನುವುದರೊಳಗೆ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯಾಯಿತು, ಪ್ರಸವವೇದನೆ ಇನ್ನು ಕಾಣದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
೮ಇಂಥಾ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಇಂಥಾ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡವರಾರು? ಒಂದು ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವು ಹುಟ್ಟೀತೇ? ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಹೆರಲಿಕ್ಕಾದೀತೇ? ಹೌದು, ಚೀಯೋನೆಂಬಾಕೆಯು ಬೇನೆತಿಂದು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith YHWH: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy Elohim.
೯“ನಾನು ಗರ್ಭದ್ವಾರವನ್ನು ತೆರೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಸವವಾಗದೆ ಇರಲು ಬಿಡುವೆನೆ?” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. “ಪ್ರಸವಮಾಡಿಸುವವನಾದ ನಾನು ಗರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚೇನೋ?” ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
೧೦ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ನಗರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರೇ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆನಂದಿಸಿರಿ, ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ!
11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
೧೧ಆಕೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ದುಃಖಿಸುವವರೇ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ, ಆಕೆಯ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಸ್ತನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ತೃಪ್ತಿಗೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ. ಹೌದು, ಆಕೆಯ ವೈಭವದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹೀರುತ್ತಾ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವೆವು ಎಂದು ಆಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿರಿ.
12 For thus saith YHWH, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
೧೨ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಆಕೆಗೆ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ನದಿಯಂತೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿ, ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುವ ತೊರೆಯನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವೆನು; ನೀವು ಪಾನಮಾಡುವಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಂಕುಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು, ತೊಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಲಿದಾಡಿಸುವರು.
13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
೧೩ತಾಯಿ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವೆನು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ದುಃಖಶಮನವಾಗುವುದು.
14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of YHWH shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
೧೪ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವುದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಹಸಿ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ರಸವತ್ತಾಗುವವು; ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೃಪಾಹಸ್ತವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ರೋಷಗೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
15 For, behold, YHWH will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
೧೫ಆಹಾ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವನು; ಆತನ ರಥಗಳು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂತಿರುವವು; ರೌದ್ರಾವೇಶದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಸಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವನು, ಅಗ್ನಿ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಖಂಡಿಸುವನು.
16 For by fire and by his sword will YHWH plead with all flesh: and the slain of YHWH shall be many.
೧೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನರಜನ್ಮದವರಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನು; ಆಗ ಆತನಿಂದ ಹತರಾಗುವವರು ಬಹು ಜನರು.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith YHWH.
೧೭ತಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ, ತೋಟಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಹಂದಿಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು, ಅಶುದ್ಧಪದಾರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ, ಇಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನುವವರು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಕಾಣುವರು” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
೧೮“ಅವರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ, ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಗೂ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಕಲ ಭಾಷೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುವರು.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
೧೯ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆಯೂ ಇರುವ ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್, ಪೂಲ್, ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ಲೂದ್, ತೂಬಲ್, ಯಾವಾನ್ ಎಂಬ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದೂರವಾದ ದ್ವೀಪನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹತಶೇಷರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು; ಇವರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವರು.”
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto YHWH out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith YHWH, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of YHWH.
೨೦ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶುದ್ಧಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಕುದುರೆ, ತೇರು, ಪಲ್ಲಕಿ, ಹೇಸರಗತ್ತೆ, ಒಂಟೆ ಇವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನೈವೇದ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೆಂಬ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರುವರು.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith YHWH.
೨೧ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರು ಆಗತಕ್ಕವರನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith YHWH, so shall your seed and your name remain.
೨೨“ನಾನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ನೂತನ ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವೂ ಮತ್ತು ನೂತನ ಭೂಮಂಡಲವೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯೂ ಹಾಗು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರೂ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವವು.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YHWH.
೨೩ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಒಂದೊಂದು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಕಲ ನರಜನ್ಮದವರೂ ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವರು” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
೨೪“ಅವರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನನಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ಹೆಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವರು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುವ ಹುಳವು ಸಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಸುಡುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಆರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವುಗಳು ಲೋಕದವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವವು.”
