Isaiah 33
1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
೧ಸೂರೆಯಾಗದಿದ್ದರೂ ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿದಿ! ಬಾಧೆಪಡದಿದ್ದರೂ ಬಾಧಿಸಿದಿ! ನಿನ್ನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ; ನೀನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀನೂ ಸೂರೆಯಾಗುವಿ. ಬಾಧಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಬಾಧಿಸುವರು.
2 O YHWH, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
೨ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು! ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಮುಂಜಾನೆಯೂ ನಮಗೆ ಭುಜಬಲವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರು.
3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
೩ಭೋರ್ಗರೆಯುವ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಓಡುವವು; ನೀನು ಏಳುವಾಗ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ದಿಕ್ಕಾಪಾಲಾಗುವವು.
4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
೪ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವುದು, ಮಿಡತೆಗಳು ಓಡಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಓಡಾಡುವರು.
5 YHWH is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ನೀತಿನ್ಯಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of YHWH is his treasure.
೬ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ, ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯೂ, ರಕ್ಷಣಾಕಾರ್ಯದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯವಿರುವುದು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮೇಲಣ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯು ನಿನಗೆ ನಿಧಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
೭ಇಗೋ, ಅವರ ಸಿಂಹವೀರರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಹಾಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳು ಘೋರವಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
೮ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವವರು ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಶತ್ರುವು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತಾರನು.
9 The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
೯ದೇಶವು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸಿ ಕುಗ್ಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಲೆಬನೋನ್ ನಾಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಣಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಶಾರೋನ್ ಬೆಂಗಾಡಾಗಿದೆ, ಬಾಷಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದುರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
10 Now will I rise, saith YHWH; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
೧೦ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಾನು ಈಗ ಏಳುವೆನು, ಈಗಲೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು, ಈಗ ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗುವೆನು.
11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
೧೧ನೀವು ಹೊಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿ ಕೂಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉಸಿರೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನುಂಗುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಾಗುವುದು.
12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
೧೨ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟ ಸುಣ್ಣದ ಹಾಗಿರುವವು. ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಮುಳ್ಳುಕೊಂಪೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಹಚ್ಚಿದಂತಾಗುವುದು.
13 Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
೧೩ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೇ, ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
೧೪“ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ಹೆದರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರು ನಡುಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ನುಂಗುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು? ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಸದಾ ಉರಿಯುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳೊಡನೆ ತಂಗುವರು” ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
೧೫ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು, ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನುಡಿದು, ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಲಾಭ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು, ಲಂಚಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ಕೈ ಒದರಿ, ಕೊಲೆಯ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ, ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡದಂತೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನೇ ಉನ್ನತಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವನು.
16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
೧೬ಇವನಿಗೆ ಗಿರಿದುರ್ಗಗಳೇ, ಆಶ್ರಯ ಅನ್ನವು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಒದಗುವುದು, ನೀರು ನಿಸ್ಸಂದೇಹವಾಗಿ ದೊರಕುವುದು.
17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
೧೭ನೀವು ಭೂಷಿತ ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ. ಅತಿವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಸ್ವದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಾ ನೋಡುವಿರಿ.
18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
೧೮ಆಗ ನೀವು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, “ಕಪ್ಪವನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ತೂಕಮಾಡಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?” ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
19 Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
೧೯ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನೀವು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾರದ ತೊದಲು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಡುವ ಆ ಕ್ರೂರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
೨೦ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳು ನಡೆಯುವ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿರಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಗೂಟಕೀಳದ, ಹಗ್ಗಹರಿಯದ ಒಂದೇ ಕಡೆ ಇರುವ ಗುಡಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ.
21 But there majestic YHWH will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
೨೧ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಘನಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ನದಿಸರೋವರಗಳಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿರುವನು. ಹುಟ್ಟುಗೋಲಿನ ದೋಣಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಡಗಾಗಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ದಾಟುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
22 For YHWH is our judge, YHWH is our lawgiver, YHWH is our king; he will save us.
೨೨ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞೆಕೊಡುವಾತನು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜನು, ಆತನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
೨೩ನಿನ್ನ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳು ಸಡಿಲವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಪಾದವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದವು, ಹಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಮುದುರದಂತೆ ಹಿಡಿದಿರಲಿಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೂರೆಯು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಂಚುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಯಿತು. ಕುಂಟರೂ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
೨೪ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಯಾವ ನಿವಾಸಿಯೂ “ನಾನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಜನರ ಪಾಪವು ಪರಿಹಾರವಾಗುವುದು.
