Hebrews 10
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
いったい、律法はきたるべき良いことの影をやどすにすぎず、そのものの真のかたちをそなえているものではないから、年ごとに引きつづきささげられる同じようないけにえによっても、みまえに近づいて来る者たちを、全うすることはできないのである。
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
もしできたとすれば、儀式にたずさわる者たちは、一度きよめられた以上、もはや罪の自覚がなくなるのであるから、ささげ物をすることがやんだはずではあるまいか。
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
しかし実際は、年ごとに、いけにえによって罪の思い出がよみがえって来るのである。
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
なぜなら、雄牛ややぎなどの血は、罪を除き去ることができないからである。
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
それだから、キリストがこの世にこられたとき、次のように言われた、「あなたは、いけにえやささげ物を望まれないで、わたしのために、からだを備えて下さった。
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
あなたは燔祭や罪祭を好まれなかった。
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me, ) to do thy will, O YHWH.
その時、わたしは言った、『神よ、わたしにつき、巻物の書物に書いてあるとおり、見よ、御旨を行うためにまいりました』」。
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
ここで、初めに、「あなたは、いけにえとささげ物と燔祭と罪祭と（すなわち、律法に従ってささげられるもの）を望まれず、好まれもしなかった」とあり、
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O YHWH. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
次に、「見よ、わたしは御旨を行うためにまいりました」とある。すなわち、彼は、後のものを立てるために、初めのものを廃止されたのである。
10 By the which will we are set apart through the offering of the body of Yahushua the Messiah once for all.
この御旨に基きただ一度イエス・キリストのからだがささげられたことによって、わたしたちはきよめられたのである。
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
こうして、すべての祭司は立って日ごとに儀式を行い、たびたび同じようないけにえをささげるが、それらは決して罪を除き去ることはできない。
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of YHWH;
しかるに、キリストは多くの罪のために一つの永遠のいけにえをささげた後、神の右に座し、
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
それから、敵をその足台とするときまで、待っておられる。
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are set apart.
彼は一つのささげ物によって、きよめられた者たちを永遠に全うされたのである。
15 Whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
聖霊もまた、わたしたちにあかしをして、
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith YHWH, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
「わたしが、それらの日の後、彼らに対して立てようとする契約はこれであると、主が言われる。わたしの律法を彼らの心に与え、彼らの思いのうちに書きつけよう」と言い、
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
さらに、「もはや、彼らの罪と彼らの不法とを、思い出すことはしない」と述べている。
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
これらのことに対するゆるしがある以上、罪のためのささげ物は、もはやあり得ない。
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yahushua,
兄弟たちよ。こういうわけで、わたしたちはイエスの血によって、はばかることなく聖所にはいることができ、
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
彼の肉体なる幕をとおり、わたしたちのために開いて下さった新しい生きた道をとおって、はいって行くことができるのであり、
21 And having an high priest over the house of YHWH;
さらに、神の家を治める大いなる祭司があるのだから、
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
心はすすがれて良心のとがめを去り、からだは清い水で洗われ、まごころをもって信仰の確信に満たされつつ、みまえに近づこうではないか。
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised; )
また、約束をして下さったのは忠実なかたであるから、わたしたちの告白する望みを、動くことなくしっかりと持ち続け、
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
愛と善行とを励むように互に努め、
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
ある人たちがいつもしているように、集会をやめることはしないで互に励まし、かの日が近づいているのを見て、ますます、そうしようではないか。
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
もしわたしたちが、真理の知識を受けたのちにもなお、ことさらに罪を犯しつづけるなら、罪のためのいけにえは、もはやあり得ない。
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
ただ、さばきと、逆らう者たちを焼きつくす激しい火とを、恐れつつ待つことだけがある。
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
モーセの律法を無視する者が、あわれみを受けることなしに、二、三の人の証言に基いて死刑に処せられるとすれば、
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of YHWH, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was set apart, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of favour?
神の子を踏みつけ、自分がきよめられた契約の血を汚れたものとし、さらに恵みの御霊を侮る者は、どんなにか重い刑罰に価することであろう。
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith YHWH. And again, YHWH shall judge his people.
「復讐はわたしのすることである。わたし自身が報復する」と言われ、また「主はその民をさばかれる」と言われたかたを、わたしたちは知っている。
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living Elohim.
生ける神のみ手のうちに落ちるのは、恐ろしいことである。
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
あなたがたは、光に照されたのち、苦しい大きな戦いによく耐えた初めのころのことを、思い出してほしい。
33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
そしられ苦しめられて見せ物にされたこともあれば、このようなめに会った人々の仲間にされたこともあった。
34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
さらに獄に入れられた人々を思いやり、また、もっとまさった永遠の宝を持っていることを知って、自分の財産が奪われても喜んでそれを忍んだ。
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
だから、あなたがたは自分の持っている確信を放棄してはいけない。その確信には大きな報いが伴っているのである。
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of YHWH, ye might receive the promise.
神の御旨を行って約束のものを受けるため、あなたがたに必要なのは、忍耐である。
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
「もうしばらくすれば、きたるべきかたがお見えになる。遅くなることはない。
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
わが義人は、信仰によって生きる。もし信仰を捨てるなら、わたしのたましいはこれを喜ばない」。
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
しかしわたしたちは、信仰を捨てて滅びる者ではなく、信仰に立って、いのちを得る者である。
