Hebrews 10
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
૧કેમ કે જે સારી વસ્તુઓ થવાની હતી તેની પ્રતિછાયા નિયમશાસ્ત્રમાં છે ખરી, પણ તે વસ્તુઓની ખરી પ્રતિમા તેમાં નહોતી, માટે જે બલિદાનો વર્ષોવર્ષ તેઓ હંમેશા કરતા હતા તેથી તેઓથી ત્યાં આવનારાઓને પરિપૂર્ણ કરવાને નિયમશાસ્ત્ર કદી સમર્થ નહોતું.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
૨જો એમ હોત, તો બલિદાનો કરવાનું શું બંધ ન થાત? કેમ કે એક વખત પવિત્ર થયા પછી ભજન કરનારાઓનાં અંતઃકરણમાં ફરી પાપોની કંઈ અંતઃવાસના થાત નહિ.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
૩પણ તે બલિદાનોથી વર્ષોવર્ષ પાપોનું ફરીથી સ્મરણ થયા કરે છે.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
૪કેમ કે ગોધાઓનું તથા બકરાઓનું લોહી પાપો દૂર કરવાને સમર્થ નથી.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
૫એ માટે દુનિયામાં આવતાં જ તે કહે છે, ‘તમે બલિદાન તથા અર્પણની ઇચ્છા રાખી નહિ, પણ મારે માટે તમે શરીર તૈયાર કર્યું છે.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
૬દહનાર્પણ તથા પાપાર્થાર્પણથી તમે પ્રસન્ન થતાં ન હતા.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me, ) to do thy will, O YHWH.
૭ત્યારે મેં કહ્યું કે, ‘ઓ ઈશ્વર, જુઓ, શાસ્ત્રના પુસ્તકમાં મારા સંબંધી લખ્યું છે, તમારી ઇચ્છા પૂર્ણ કરવાને હું આવ્યો છું.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
૮ઉપર જયારે તેમણે કહ્યું કે, ‘બલિદાનો, અર્પણો, દહનાર્પણો, પાપાર્થાર્પણો જે નિયમશાસ્ત્ર પ્રમાણે કરાય છે તેઓની ઇચ્છા રાખી નહિ અને તેઓથી તમે પ્રસન્ન થતાં ન હતા.
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O YHWH. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
૯ત્યારે તેમણે કહ્યું કે, ‘જો, તમારી ઇચ્છા પૂર્ણ કરવાને હું આવું છું;’ બીજાને સ્થાપવા સારુ પહેલાને તે રદ કરે છે.
10 By the which will we are set apart through the offering of the body of Yahushua the Messiah once for all.
૧૦તે ઇચ્છા વડે ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તનું શરીર એક જ વખત અર્પણ થયાથી આપણને પવિત્ર કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
૧૧દરેક યાજક નિત્ય સેવા કરતાં તથા એ ને એ જ બલિદાનો વારંવાર આપતા ઊભો રહે છે, પરંતુ એ બલિદાનો પાપોને દૂર કરવાને કદાપિ સક્ષમ નથી.
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of YHWH;
૧૨પણ ખ્રિસ્ત તો, પાપોને કાજે એક બલિદાન સદાકાળને માટે આપીને, ઈશ્વરની જમણી તરફ બિરાજેલા છે.
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
૧૩હવે પછી તેમના વૈરીઓને તેમના પગ નીચે કચડવામાં આવે ત્યાં સુધી તે રાહ જુએ છે.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are set apart.
૧૪કેમ કે જેઓ પવિત્ર કરાય છે તેઓને તેમણે એક જે અર્પણથી સદાકાળને માટે પરિપૂર્ણ કરી દીધાં છે.
15 Whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
૧૫પવિત્ર આત્મા પણ આપણને સાક્ષી આપે છે, કેમ કે તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith YHWH, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
૧૬‘તે દિવસોમાં જે કરાર હું તેઓની સાથે કરીશ તે એ જ છે કે, હું મારા નિયમો તેઓના હૃદયપટ પર લખીશ અને તેઓના મનમાં મૂકીશ, એમ પ્રભુ કહે છે.’”
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
૧૭પછી તે કહે છે કે, ‘તેઓનાં પાપ તથા તેઓના અન્યાયને હું ફરી યાદ કરીશ નહિ.’”
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
૧૮હવે જ્યાં તેઓના પાપ માફ થયા છે, ત્યાં ફરી પાપને સારુ બીજા અર્પણની જરૂરિયાત નથી.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yahushua,
૧૯મારા ભાઈઓ, તેણે આપણે માટે પડદામાં થઈને, એટલે પોતાના શરીરમાં થઈને, એક નવો તથા જીવતો માર્ગ ઉઘાડ્યો છે.
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
૨૦તે માર્ગમાં થઈને ઈસુના રક્તદ્વારા પરમપવિત્રસ્થાનમાં પ્રવેશ કરવાને આપણને હિંમત છે;
21 And having an high priest over the house of YHWH;
૨૧વળી ઈશ્વરના ઘર પર આપણે માટે એક મોટો યાજક છે,
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
૨૨તેથી દુષ્ટ અંતઃકરણથી છૂટવા માટે હૃદયો પર છંટકાવ પામીને તથા સ્વચ્છ પાણીથી શરીર ધોઈને, આપણે ખરા હૃદયથી અને વિશ્વાસના પૂરા નિશ્ચય સાથે ઈશ્વરના સાન્નિધ્યમાં જઈએ.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised; )
૨૩આપણે આશાની કરેલી કબૂલાતમાં દ્રઢ રહીએ, કેમ કે જેમણે આશાવચન આપ્યું તે વિશ્વાસપાત્ર છે.
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
૨૪પ્રેમ રાખવાને તથા સારાં કામ કરવા માટે પરસ્પર ઉત્તેજન પ્રાપ્ત થાય માટે આપણે એકબીજાનો વિચાર કરીએ.
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
૨૫જેમ કેટલાક કરે છે તેમ આપણે એકઠા મળવાનું પડતું ન મૂકીએ, પણ આપણે એકબીજાને ઉત્તેજન આપીએ; અને જેમ જેમ તમે તે દિવસ પાસે આવતો નિહાળો તેમ તેમ તમે વિશેષ પ્રયત્ન કરો.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
૨૬કેમ કે આપણને સત્યની ઓળખ પ્રાપ્ત થયા પછી પણ જો આપણે જાણીજોઈને પાપ કરીએ, તો હવે પછી પાપોને માટે બીજું બલિદાન રહેતું નથી,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
૨૭પણ ન્યાયચુકાદાની ભયાનક પ્રતિક્ષા તથા વૈરીઓને ખાઈ જનાર અગ્નિનો કોપ એ જ બાકી રહેલું છે.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
૨૮જે કોઈ મૂસાના નિયમશાસ્ત્રનું ઉલ્લંઘન કરતો, તેના પર દયા રખાતી ન હતી, પણ બે કે ત્રણ જણની સાક્ષીથી તેને મોતની સજા કરવામાં આવતી હતી.
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of YHWH, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was set apart, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of favour?
૨૯તો જેણે ઈશ્વરના પુત્રને પગ નીચે કચડ્યા છે અને કરારના જે રક્તથી પોતે પવિત્ર થયા હતા તેમને અશુદ્ધ ગણ્યા છે અને જેણે કૃપાના આત્માનું અપમાન કર્યું છે, તે કેટલી બધી સખત શિક્ષાને પાત્ર થશે, તે વિષે તમે શું ધારો છો?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith YHWH. And again, YHWH shall judge his people.
૩૦કેમ કે ‘બદલો વાળવો એ મારું કામ છે, હું બદલો વાળી આપીશ.’” ત્યાર બાદ ફરી, ‘પ્રભુ પોતાના લોકોનો ન્યાય કરશે,’ એવું જેમણે કહ્યું તેમને આપણે ઓળખીએ છીએ.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living Elohim.
૩૧જીવતા ઈશ્વરના હાથમાં પડવું એ અતિ ભયંકર છે.
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
૩૨પણ પહેલાના દિવસોનું સ્મરણ કરો, કે જેમાં તમે પ્રકાશિત થયા પછી,
33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
૩૩પહેલાં તો નિંદાઓથી તથા સંકટથી તમે અપમાનરૂપ જેવા થયા અને પછી તો જેઓને સતાવાયા હતા તેઓના ભાગીદાર થઈને દુઃખોનો ભારે હુમલો સહન કર્યો.
34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
૩૪કેમ કે જેઓ બંધનમાં હતા તેઓ પ્રત્યે તમે કરુણા દર્શાવી અને તમારી સંપત્તિની લૂંટ કરાઈ તેને તમે આનંદથી સહન કર્યું, કેમ કે તમે એ જાણતા હતા, કે તમારે માટે તેના કરતા વધારે યોગ્ય તથા સર્વકાળ રહેનારું ધન સ્વર્ગમાં રાખી મૂકવામાં આવેલું છે.
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
૩૫એ માટે તમારા વિશ્વાસના ફળરૂપી જે મોટો બદલો તમને મળવાનો છે, તેને નાખી ન દો.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of YHWH, ye might receive the promise.
૩૬કેમ કે ઈશ્વરની ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે વર્ત્યા પછી તમને આશાવચનનું ફળ મળે, માટે તમારે ધીરજ રાખવાની જરૂર છે.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
૩૭કેમ કે જે આવવાના છે, તે તદ્દન થોડીવારમાં જ આવશે અને વિલંબ કરશે નહિ.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
૩૮પણ મારો ન્યાયી સેવક વિશ્વાસથી જીવશે; જો તે પાછો હટે, તો તેનામાં મારા જીવને આનંદ થશે નહિ.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
૩૯પણ આપણે પાછા હઠીને નાશ પામનારા નથી, પણ જીવના ઉદ્ધારને અર્થે વિશ્વાસ કરનારા છીએ.
