2 Chronicles 17
1 And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.
၁အာသသားယောရှဖတ်သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ၌ နန်းထိုင်၍၊ ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံတဘက် မိမိကို ခိုင်ခံ့စေ၏။
2 And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.
၂ယုဒပြည်တွင်၊ ခိုင်ခံ့သောမြို့ရှိသမျှတို့၌၊ တပ် သားများကိုထား၏။ ယုဒပြည်အရပ်ရပ်တို့၌၎င်း၊ ဧဖရိမ် ပြည်မှာ ခမည်းတော် အာသတိုက်ယူ သော မြို့တို့၌၎င်း၊ မြို့စောင့်တပ်ကို အသီးအသီးခန့်ထား၏။
3 And YHWH was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;
၃ခမည်းတော်သည် အရင်လိုက်သောလမ်းသို့၊ ယောရှဖတ်လိုက်လျက်၊
4 But sought to YHWH Elohim of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
၄ဗာလဘုရားတို့ကို မဆည်းကပ်၊ ခမည်းတော်၏ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုသာ ဆည်းကပ်သဖြင့်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး ၏ ထုံးစံကိုရှောင်၍၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို ကျင့်သော ကြောင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် စောင့်မ၍၊
5 Therefore YHWH stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.
၅နိုင်ငံတော်ကိုယောရှဖတ်လက်၌ တည်စေတော် မူသဖြင့်၊ ယုဒပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့သည် လက်ဆောင် များကို ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
6 And his heart was lifted up in the ways of YHWH: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.
၆ဂုဏ်အသရေနှင့် စည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာများသော်လည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ တရားလမ်းတို့၌ စိတ်စွဲလမ်း၍၊ မြင့် သောအရပ်နှင့် အာရှရပင်တို့ကို ယုဒပြည်မှ ပယ်ရှား တော်မူ၏။
7 Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Ben-hail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.
၇နန်းစံသုံးနှစ်တွင်၊ ယုဒမြို့ အရပ်ရပ်၌ သွန်သင် စေခြင်းငှါ၊ မှူးမတ် ဗင်ဟဲလ၊ ဩဗဒိ၊ ဇာခရိ၊ နာသနေလ၊ မိက္ခာယတို့ကို၎င်း၊
8 And with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tob-adonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.
၈လေဝိသားရှေမာယ၊ နေသနိ၊ ဇေဗဒိ၊ အာသ ဟေလ၊ ရှေမိရမုတ်၊ ယောနသန်၊ အဒေါနိယ၊ တောဘိယ၊ တောဘ၊ ဒေါနိယတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဧလိ ရှမာနှင့် ယောရံကို၎င်း၊ စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
9 And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of YHWH with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.
၉ထိုသူတို့သည် ယုဒပြည်၌ဩဝါဒပေး၍၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ပညတ္တိကျမ်းပါလျက်၊ ယုဒမြို့အရပ်ရပ်တို့တွင်၊ လှည့်လည်သဖြင့်၊ ပြည်သားတို့ကို သွန်သင်ကြ၏။
10 And the fear of YHWH fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.
၁၀ယုဒပြည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တိုင်းနိုင်ငံရှိသမျှတို့ သည်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့၍၊ ယောရှဖတ်ကို စစ်မတိုက်ဝံ့ဘဲ နေကြ၏။
11 Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the Arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.
၁၁ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့သည် လက်ဆောင်နှင့် အခွန်ငွေကို၎င်း၊ အာရပ်လူတို့သည် သိုးခုနစ်ထောင်ခုနစ်ရာနှင့် ဆိတ်ခုနစ်ထောင်ခုနစ်ရာကို၎င်း ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
12 And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store.
၁၂ယောရှဖတ်သည် အလွန်ခွန်အားတိုးပွား၍၊ ယုဒပြည်၌ရဲတိုက်နှင့် ဘဏ္ဍာတော်မြို့တို့ကို တည်တော် မူ၏။
13 And he had much business in the cities of Judah: and the men of war, mighty men of valour, were in Jerusalem.
၁၃ယုဒမြို့တို့၌ အမှုအရေးတော်များ၏။ ခွန်အား ကြီးသော စစ်သူရဲတို့သည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ ရှိကြ၏။
14 And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valour three hundred thousand.
၁၄စစ်သူရဲအဆွေအမျိုး အလိုက်ယူသော စာရင်း ဟူမူကား၊ ယုဒအမျိုး ဗိုလ်ချုပ်မင်းအာဒနနှင့် ခွန်အား ကြီးသော စစ်သူရဲသုံးသိန်း၊
15 And next to him was Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand.
၁၅စစ်ကဲယောဟနန်နှင့်ခွန်အားကြီးသော စစ်သူရဲ နှစ်သိန်းရှစ်သောင်း၊
16 And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto YHWH; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valour.
၁၆စေတနာစိတ်နှင့်ကိုယ်ကို ထာဝရဘုရားအား ပူဇော်သော ဇိခရိသားအာမသိနှင့် ခွန်အားကြီးသော စစ်သူရဲနှစ်သိန်း၊
17 And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of valour, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.
၁၇ဗင်္ယာမိန်အမျိုး ခွန်အားကြီးသော ဧလျာဒနှင့် လေး၊ ဒိုင်းလွှားကို ကိုင်သောသူနှစ်သိန်း၊
18 And next him was Jehozabad, and with him an hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the war.
၁၈သူ့နောက်ယောဇဗဒ်နှင့် စစ်တိုက်ခြင်းငှါ၊ အသင့် ရှိသောသူ တသိန်းရှစ်သောင်းတည်း။
19 These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Judah.
၁၉ယုဒပြည်အရပ်ရပ်၊ ခိုင်ခံ့သောမြို့တို့၌ ရှင်ဘုရင် ထားသောသူရဲမှတပါး၊ အထက်ဆိုခဲ့ပြီးသော သူတို့သည် အမှုတော်ကို ထမ်းလျက်နေကြ၏။
