Zechariah 4
1 AND the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
E tornou o anjo que falava comigo, e me despertou, como a um homem que se desperta do seu sono,
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
E me disse: Que vês? E eu disse: Olho, e eis que vejo um castiçal todo de ouro, e um vaso de azeite sobre a sua cabeça, e as suas sete lâmpadas nela; e cada lâmpada que estava na sua cabeça tinha sete canudos.
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
E, por cima dele, duas oliveiras, uma à direita do vaso de azeite, e outra à sua esquerda.
4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
E respondi, e disse ao anjo que falava comigo, dizendo: Senhor meu, que é isto?
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Então respondeu o anjo que falava comigo, e me disse: Não sabes tu o que isto é? E eu disse: Não, Senhor meu
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
E respondeu, e me falou, dizendo: Esta é a palavra do Senhor a Zorobabel, dizendo: Não por força nem por violência, mas sim pelo meu espírito, diz o Senhor dos exércitos.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Quem és tu, ó monte grande? diante de Zorobabel serás feito uma campina; porque ele produzirá a primeira pedra com algazarras: Graça, graça a ela.
8 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
E a palavra do Senhor veio mais a mim, dizendo:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.
As mãos de Zorobabel tem fundado esta casa, também as suas mãos a acabarão, para que saibais que o Senhor dos exércitos me enviou a vós.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Porque, quem despreza o dia das coisas pequenas? pois aqueles sete se alegrarão, vendo o prumo na mão de Zorobabel: esses são os olhos do Senhor, que discorrem por toda a terra.
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
Respondi mais, e disse-lhe: Que são as duas oliveiras à direita do castiçal e à sua esquerda?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
E, respondendo-lhe outra vez, disse: Que são aqueles dois raminhos das oliveiras, que estão junto aos dois tubos de ouro, e que vertem de si ouro?
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
E ele me falou, dizendo: Não sabes tu o que isto é? E eu disse: Não, Senhor meu.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
Então ele disse: Estes são dois ramos de óleo, que estão diante do Senhor de toda a terra.
